In just 10 minutes of class, students did not have time to run downstairs to exercise. We designed the school building facing the playground into a huge open-air forest. After class, students can quickly enter this soft space. Today, the education is extremely tight. We hope to create a high school that can really waste time, so that the school is not so annoying. Huizhen Senior High School is an ordinary high school with a class size of 30. When students are in the fog, the whole school disappears from sight. It can only see the vast city and the cloudless sky. If I have time, I will go for a walk on the rooftop. It's very close to the sky. It feels free. Normally, all spaces in a school are monitored. But in such a three-dimensional corridor, there is a small hidden space where students can finish their homework here. Or they can talk quietly. They don't feel like being watched by a teacher. We contacted the Ningbo Education Bureau. When a forest that is not like a school is placed in front of them, they are also very surprised. Ningbo Education Bureau is still very open-minded. They decided on this proposal. The whole school building is designed in a high-efficiency, concentrated way. In order to form a super-density physical park with continuous ups and downs, all classrooms and corridors are designed in the most economical size. All this space is saved and put in the so-called garden. Our design is to make this forest cover every floor of every building. The alleys in the forest are designed in an open-air state. The buildings are scattered in the space of the forest. The corridors in the air are intertwined between the trees. They all seem to have their own flow line. When two corridors of different heights meet, they will also look at each other and say hello. There are also many high-rise buildings in the school. Classes can also take place in the forest. Last year, we opened a class on walking into the plant. We will lead students to the biology institute to do some water cultivation for plants to make a plant map of the forest. We lift the school building from the ground and lay the ground out. It becomes a park and street that can walk continuously. The theater, library, gym, and canteen are like a bunch of small shops scattered on both sides of the street. When students enter these public spaces, it's like shopping. I once went to the Tangzhou Institute to share. When I finally said this is a public high school belonging to the Ningbo Education Bureau, everyone was shocked. It turns out that the Ningbo Education Bureau has such a high level of access. All students are under great academic pressure. But as a technical high school, the campus is almost a youth-friendly space for children. There is not only learning, not only efficiency, but also some beautiful spaces for students to discover their youth.
