So I haven't done one of these for a while, a house tour video.
The last one I did was four years ago now.
And the reason why I haven't done any sort of updated one is because my house hasn't
actually changed that much.
It's stayed relatively the same.
I haven't done anything, any sort of big changes.
So that's why I haven't bothered.
But hey, so many of you have been requesting it.
I think it's time to do a new house tour I show you around.
I actually bought this house in 2016 and I'm glad I did because wow, the value of my house
has gone up 50%.
I'm winning right now.
So I'm not complaining, but yeah, house prices also aren't sustainable.
Anyway, that's a whole nother issue.
Let's get into it.
Let me show you around and give you a house tour.
Right.
So as soon as you come in, this is what you see.
The front door is right behind me and yeah, hallway, stairs on the left, going upstairs,
a few bedrooms upstairs, downstairs, obviously living room, kitchen over there, you can just
briefly see the kitchen and my office, which is actually a dining room, but I've turned
it into an office.
So yeah, hallway, coats and stuff on the right, mirror on the right, where I put all of my
shoes down below.
Let me show you some of my favorites actually.
So I'm really loving these Travis Scott Jordan ones.
These are really nice, really, really nice.
Just pretty awesome.
Also very recently got these Polo Ralph Lauren sort of like, they look like common projects,
but they're also boots.
It's bizarre, but yeah, Ralph Lauren boots.
They're awesome.
I think they're pretty stylish, but I don't think I'll be wearing these as much anymore
because the winter is going and we're coming into spring and summer.
I have the trusty Common Projects, of course.
Yeah, these are a staple.
I feel like these are my favorites.
These are the sort of shoes I wear every day.
I don't wear the white ones every day, but I do wear the gray and the black more often.
But yeah, Common Projects are just a staple.
You have to get a pair of these.
I also recently got something a bit absurd, which are these Louis Vuitton Nike Air Force
1s.
Now, this isn't usually my type of thing, but because the sort of, I guess, logo, whatever
it is, branding on it is quite minimal.
You can't really tell until you're up close and they're quite clean, minimal pair of shoes.
Incredibly comfortable.
My God, these are so, so comfortable.
So if we move away from the shoes and actually keep going around for the actual house tour.
So yeah, mirror here, a round circular mirror.
I like it.
I think it looks pretty nice.
A console table from Swoon Editions.
I don't know if they sell this anymore.
Have a few accessories on there.
A painting that I got from New York when I went to New York in 2017 now, a long time
ago.
Valet train stuff with keys, sunglasses, and just sort of essentials.
Yeah, I really like this console setup.
The only issue that I have with this console setup is this darn light switch.
Why is the light switch there?
Why isn't it over here?
That honestly frustrates me so much.
Who thought it was a good idea to put, honestly, what a silly thing.
There's also no plug sockets down here.
It would have been nice to have a plug socket somewhere over here so I could put maybe like
a Sony speaker or something, but yeah, you know, that's just the way it is.
On this side, you can see the other end, the front door.
I said in my last house tour that I'm going to put prints up on here.
I still haven't done that.
I don't know why.
I've just been lazy.
We move into the living room area.
The living room, I've added a lot of things in here.
It's not as minimal as clean as before.
I'll be honest, I've sort of gone off the super minimal, super clean look.
I also just can't be bothered to spend so much time making sure everything is like super
perfect and stuff.
As I've gotten older, I'm just a lot, a lot lazier now, I think, when it comes to these
things.
But yeah, my living room setup, I've done a few videos on this setup already for anyone
who's interested, but I've done a few videos on this setup showing the living room.
If we start from the left, I need to put something there.
I'm thinking I might put another tree or something, or I don't know, I'll figure it out at some
point.
I could even just move the bookshelf over, but I like having the bookshelf where it is.
This bookshelf, this shelving unit is from John Lewis.
This chair is also from John Lewis.
Have quite a few accessories.
I do need to reorganize this.
There's a lot of stuff on here.
Maybe I need to remove some things.
Over here, the TV setup, absolutely love this TV setup.
I've recently upgraded everything to Sonos as well.
So I have a Sonos Beam, Sonos Sub Mini.
I also have some Sonos surround speakers.
It sounds incredible.
Like it's, it blows me away how good this setup is.
I have a coffee table from Wayfair, a walnut and metal coffee table.
I like it.
I think it matches the aesthetic.
I also changed my TV unit.
So some of you might remember that I had a white TV unit from Ikea.
I think the white TV unit looked a bit tacky now when I look back at it.
I think this black one just looks a bit classier, looks more my style as well.
I think it looks more expensive.
The funny thing is, this is also from Ikea, this TV unit.
You wouldn't think it.
It looks more sort of high-end from a more high-end manufacturer, but yeah, this TV unit
is from Ikea.
The cables and stuff are actually hidden in the wall, so it looks like the TV is sort
of just stuck on the wall.
I mean, it is stuck on the wall, but the cables are going through the wall and then down below
behind the TV unit.
Really clean setup.
I think I will change this TV soon because LG have released a new G3 and I think I might
change to the G3.
Quickly going back to the TV, this is a 65-inch LG OLED.
Yeah, it's super, super thin, by the way.
Like, it's hard to explain, I can't feel like I don't even know if I can get the camera
close enough, but that TV is so, so thin.
It's incredible.
And it sits right up against the wall, floats really, really nicely.
I absolutely love this TV, but yeah, like I said, I will probably upgrade it pretty
soon to the new G3, which follows a similar design.
I have my PS5 over here with controllers, a little stool and a fake plant in the corner.
And then if we move round, you can see the sofa.
So the sofa is also from Swoon Editions.
I don't know if they sell this anymore.
And I've added a few more cushions since the last tour.
Prints up on the wall.
These are actually pictures I've shot myself.
So that one is from LA.
That one, I mean, it's so black, all you can see is a reflection of myself, but that is
actually a blurred picture from Mykonos.
And that is a picture of a plant that I took in the house.
Down here, I have the sub.
So this sub actually needs to go.
This is from the old setup.
I just haven't had a chance to remove it yet.
iPad Pro, new iPad Pro with M2 chip, Nintendo Switch over there, and the Sonos Era 100s
on the stands here.
They look really good.
I feel like they match the aesthetic of the rest of the living room.
Over here, I have another little side table from Swoon Editions and then a lamp, which
is actually also from Ikea.
So with this living room, I've tried to go for a sort of grey, gold, brown, black sort
of vibe.
Those sorts of colours all mixed together.
I love it.
I'm so happy with this living room in the evenings, especially when I'm watching a movie,
watching a TV show.
It's such a nice experience in here.
Just being able to sit on the sofa, relax.
It is my favourite room in the house.
It's why it's the room with the most stuff in it, because I do spend a lot of my evenings
in here.
If we continue down this way, so on the right, we have the kitchen.
The kitchen is pretty much exactly the same as last time.
Have a console sort of media unit over here from Dwell with a TV.
This is just an old TV that I had, a 14-inch TV, and I've put an Apple TV on there so
that I can watch some TV when I'm having breakfast or lunch or whatever it is.
Maybe watch a YouTube video, something like that.
Breakfast table is from John Lewis.
I have an odd amount of chairs in here.
I know there's five chairs and like, yeah, honestly, don't ask me why.
It's just the way it is right now.
And then the rest of the kitchen, I do plan to still change the countertops.
I feel like that's what I said last time.
I just haven't had a chance to, but yeah, the countertops do need to change.
It's a very clean and sort of just minimal kitchen.
I might even change the colours of the doors.
I have seen some people, what they do is they wrap the doors in a different colour.
So instead of spending thousands of pounds on cabinet doors, they just wrap them.
They get wrapping material from like eBay and you can change the colour.
It's actually a really clever way to change the colour of your kitchen.
So yeah, that's the kitchen.
And then if we carry on, we'll go to the downstairs bathroom, downstairs WC first.
The thing I love about this WC is the huge mirror.
That huge mirror is great.
It's nice having such a big mirror in here, but yeah, that's the WC.
Few things in there, nice shelf in there.
And then my office.
So this is my home office.
I don't actually use it as much as I used to now because I have the studio.
So I don't need to use it as much anymore.
Over here, we have my main computer setup.
So MacBook Pro, studio display.
I have done a video on this as well.
Some prints up top, which are pictures I shot myself.
Little sort of shelf on the wall, a Muto shelf and an Ergonofis desk.
Awesome desk by the way, standing desk.
Yeah, that is my desk setup there.
I also have this area over here.
I don't really know what's the best way to describe this area.
It's sort of just a place for me to put things down.
I have a Sonos speaker here, which is from the old living room setup.
I need to figure out where I'm going to put that.
And then yeah, just like random stuff that I'm currently sorting out.
A cabinet down there from Ikea.
Oh yeah, the desk and the cabinet are both from Ikea.
Yeah, just use it to sort random things.
And then over here, I have my gaming setup.
So I actually spend quite a bit of time gaming here every evening.
Sort of with friends and stuff.
It's actually a good way to socialize with my friends if I can't see them.
We just game.
Overwatch is probably the game I'm playing most right now.
That is my old PC setup.
My new PC setup is down there on the shelf.
I've also done another video on this setup.
I've done videos on this setup.
I've done videos on my workspace and my living room.
Separate videos.
Yeah, so if you guys want to see more in depth, more details about them,
check those videos out.
I have this really nice, absolutely beautiful keyboard from Mode Keyboards.
Awesome keyboard.
Absolutely fantastic.
Super, super heavy.
Great for gaming, even though it's not really a game or a keyboard.
But yeah, that is the gaming setup with the Herman Miller.
The reason why I've put the Herman Miller there
instead of over here is because I actually sit here more now than I do over here.
So this is the more comfortable chair to have when I'm sitting for longer periods,
especially when I'm gaming.
The shelving unit over here is from IKEA as well.
Tripod, of course, for shooting stuff.
Lots of accessories on there.
My internet comes into this corner of the house.
So that's why there's a lot of cables, a lot of things down there.
Internet comes in through there.
I have my router, router, however you want to call it, over there.
Steam deck as well, actually.
I do have a steam deck in here, which, to be honest, doesn't get much use.
But whenever I do want to use it, it's there.
I also have an Oculus Quest, which is awesome.
Highly recommend VR stuff.
I love playing Beat Saber.
That's really good fun.
And yeah, that is it for the sort of home office.
Oh, another thing.
That rug down there is also from John Lewis.
I try and leave links to everything, but because I've bought this stuff years ago,
it doesn't necessarily mean it's still going to be in stock or still available for sale.
And then if we go upstairs, I'll show you a couple of the rooms upstairs.
So to the right, we have a sort of, I use that as a sort of laundry room.
It's not really, it's the smallest room in the house.
That's just an extra room.
And then over here, we have a family bathroom.
And then this room is sort of an empty room as well.
But I do have a few random things in here.
So for those who might remember, who've been watching my videos for a while,
I actually used to record my videos in here.
This was my home studio.
This is where I used to record quite a few videos for the channel
for like over COVID times.
Now that I have the studio,
I don't really do anything with this room anymore.
Just become a sort of dump everything here sort of room.
I do need to sort it out.
I do need to sort of put a bed here
because it makes sense to have a bed
so that I can have friends stay whenever they need to.
And then if we carry on, family bathroom, like I said, to the left,
if we carry on, this is the main bedroom.
Bed from Suneo Editions.
The bed hasn't changed.
The side sort of units, the bedside units also haven't changed.
Over here is where I have a few things.
Charge my phone, AirPods, lamp.
Lamp is from John Lewis as well.
Apple Watch charger, moisturiser.
Oh, by the way, I highly recommend this moisturiser.
This moisturiser is awesome.
Really, really nice.
When I get dry hands before bed, it's awesome.
I do have another bedside table over there
for when your mum comes to stay over.
What did he say?
And then, yeah, just some bedding stuff.
I've seen videos of people who iron their bedsheets.
I would love to be able to iron my bedsheets,
but I don't have the time.
So yeah, my bedsheets and stuff are all creased.
And then over here is my wardrobe.
So nice full length mirror all the way up to the ceiling,
which is really nice to have.
Hairdryer down there.
I don't even know why I have that really.
I don't use it anymore really to dry my hair,
but this is my wardrobe.
I have sort of shirts and T-shirts and stuff
up top on the rack.
I have trousers down below
and then I have jumpers and stuff.
Fairly sort of organised.
It can be more organised
than I have sort of my aftershave and stuff.
Ah, these are my two favourites right now.
The Chanel Sport One and then the Tom Ford Oudwood.
Yeah, these are two of my favourites right now.
These are really, really nice.
The Chanel one I'd say is very summery
and the Tom Ford one is more sort of like
evening, wintry vibes.
So yeah, that is pretty much it.
That is the house tour for 2023.
If I do any other major changes,
I will do a new house tour,
but I doubt I will do any major changes to be honest.
I think it's going to remain the way it is
mainly because I am looking to move at some point.
I was actually meant to buy a new place this year,
but with interest rates through the roof right now,
I'm kind of just like,
oh, I'm just going to have to wait a little bit longer
until hopefully they come down
or house prices come down a little bit.
Because yeah, I wanted to sort of get into a nicer place,
have a bit more space around me.
This is very first world problems.
I'm not going to like very, very first world problems.
But yeah, it's just also investments and money and stuff.
It just makes more sense for me to plough my money
into my house, my property,
so that I'm not losing money sitting in the bank.
So yeah, if I do buy a new place,
I will definitely do a house tour, no doubt about it.
I'll definitely show the new place.
But for now, this is where I've been living.
I've been living here since 2017, which is wild.
I bought a house in 2016.
I've been living here since 2017.
So it's already been seven years.
It's gone very, very quick.
Seven years.
So yeah, that's just me rambling.
Hopefully you guys enjoyed it.
