I've had my life and now there's nothing more to add and it annoys me that people
think I can have that again with someone else, like I can replace Lisa. I can't.
Don't disturb her. I won't.
You seem happier recently. Do I? Yeah. I'm just trying to get on with it, you know. I
certainly want to get better. I guess what I'm saying is I don't care about death anymore. I
don't mean I want to die. I mean whatever. I don't, I'm not angry anymore. I don't want to
punish the world. I've had my life and now there's nothing more to add and it annoys me that people
think I can have that again with someone else, like I can replace Lisa. I can't and I'm cool
with that. I wish I hadn't teased her about there not being an afterlife now because I think she
wanted to believe deep down in like heaven and angels and stuff. I hope she wasn't, I hope she
wasn't scared. All she'd have wanted was you with her at the end. Oh and there are angels by the
way. They don't have wings and live in clouds. They wear nurses uniforms and work hard to pay
the rent on their houses. Some work for charities because they can't look the other way. Some have
four legs and bark but whatever they look like they all save lives. Sometimes you bump into them
like Lisa and Stan and you and you marry them. I know that Lisa and Stan aren't angels now but
they were. If you want to be an angel you've got to do it when you're alive. Be good, do good things.
Introduce a lonely woman to a nice man. You're my angel Tony. Not sure about that. Hi. Hi. I've
decided to go on a little trip to scatter my dad's ashes. My ashes? No, you're not my dad,
remember? Am I adopted? Fuck me, it's like I've got a replacement. That would probably work out
quite well because his own son never sees him. Barely had time to stick him in here before he
emigrated to Australia. Hello. Hello. You're my son. Yep. How are you dad? What's up grumbo? Where
have you been? Australia. Oh, what's that? You know if you come out here and turn left, it's
about 10,000 miles. Oh, right. But you're back now, are you? Yeah. Good. So, why did you shave your head?
Because my sister's hair fell out and she was getting rid of the cancer and now we'd look the
same again. You do? Why do you want to look like your sister though? Because she's lovely. She is
and I think you're lovely too. She got sponsored. I raised 1,200 pounds to help me. Amazing. 1,200
pounds. Wow. Well, I need your names to put them in the paper so everyone knows how brilliant you
are. I'm Millie. Millie. I'm Lisa. Lisa. My wife's name. Where is she? She's at home. Making your tea? Yeah.
Why are you crying? Because I'm happy. Why are you crying if you're happy? Because I'm mental. Can we
take a picture? Smile. Will you come again? I don't know. Okay. Why do you ask? You're funny. Am I?
Okay, I'll pop in and say hello. Tomorrow? All right. The day after? I'll come in every day until you're better.
Or until I go to heaven. Do you believe in heaven? Definitely. I want you to enjoy life.
I don't want you to worry about money or don't worry about me. Just worry about you, yeah? Be
be happy. Be kind. Be Tony.
And feeling proud to say I love you.
Write out loud dreams and schemes and the circus crowd.
