Welcome to the Medieval World, our 100k subscriber special megadocumentary! This video goes through the history of the Medieval or Post-Classical period, until around the year 1500. From the European Middle Ages and Crusades, to the samurai of Feudal Japan, to Mansa Musa's Mali Empire, the Mongol invasions, the Islamic Golden Age, Angkor Wat, to the Aztec and Maya in the Americas, and MUCH MORE. We take a journey around the world, going over major events, as well as daily life and culture, and is meant to be an 'in-depth' overview of the period.

It is the spiritual sequel to our Ancient World megadocumentary (which covers the Ancient Near East, Ancient China, India, Greece and Rome). The regions we haven't touched on in that video, like the Americas, most of Africa, Japan, Korea, and Southeast Asia, will be covered HERE from their own Ancient periods.
