Thần Thoại Ấn Độ - 9 Asura Có Sức Mạnh Khủng Khiếp _ Tìm Hiểu Quanh Ta.
Welcome back to our channel.
In the previous episode, we learned about the 10 incarnations of Vishnu.
In this episode, let's learn about the strongest Asuras in Hindu mythology.
In the Hindu mythology, not only the Devas, but also the Asuras, also known as Asuras,
are built, shaped, and drawn.
All of them are talented, scary, and have their own personality.
Although they are defeated by the devious gods,
they still leave a lot of fear and admiration in the human mind.
First is Banasura, the Western Asura.
Banasura is Bali's son.
Bali is an Asura king who was conquered by Vishnu.
Banasura ruled a large kingdom.
He was a powerful Asura who was admired by the gods.
With 1,000 arms, Banasura had a great way to play against Riddhanga
when he combined it with Shiva's Tandava dance.
That's why Shiva was very pleased and proud to give Banasura a wish.
Banasura asked for Shiva's protection.
Since then, thanks to Shiva's protection,
Banasura is not afraid of the sky and the earth,
and he is gradually becoming more and more fierce.
He has a beautiful daughter named Usha,
but he locked her up in a castle because there were too many people who wanted to propose to her.
And Usha fell in love with Anirudha, Krishna's nephew.
Krishna was Vishnu's incarnation at that time.
Once, the two of them were flirting with each other,
and Banasura caught them in the act.
But Banasura didn't think he had touched his nephew.
When Krishna heard that his nephew was caught,
he brought his army to ask for forgiveness.
The two sides fought with each other,
but Banasura was clearly not Krishna's opponent.
All of his 1,000 arms were cut by Krishna twice,
leaving only two.
Fortunately, Shiva appeared in time,
asking Krishna for forgiveness,
and Banasura had to confess,
forgive Anirudha and allow Usha to become a god.
The next Asura is Mahishasura,
the son of Asura Rambha and a buffalo.
In fact, a princess was cursed.
That's why Mahishasura looks like a half-man, half-buffalo,
or even a king.
Mahishasura was blessed by Anirudha,
who was the one who helped Rambha drown.
Mahishasura prayed to the god Brahma.
The god Brahma was pleased with Mahishasura's sincerity
and promised him a wish.
Mahishasura prayed that he would become stronger
than any living creature in this world
and would not be killed by any human or god.
Brahma knew it was a big deal,
but his wish was granted.
After the wish was granted,
Mahishasura began to bring troops to war with other countries
to expand his territory.
Thanks to his invincible strength,
he won many battles all over the world.
Mahishasura brought his army to the world
and defeated Indra.
Indra came to ask for the help of the three Trimurti.
They realized their wish.
He prayed to the god Brahma
that he would not let any god or man kill him.
So the three goddesses Lakshmi,
Bhavati and Saravati combined their strength
to create the goddess Durga.
The goddess Durga was given weapons and weapons
and was sent to war with Mahishasura's army.
Mahishasura was in a state of tension
when he saw a goddess with a lion-like smile.
She was so beautiful and beautiful
that he was afraid of her.
The battle lasted many days.
Mahishasura's army was defeated by the goddess Durga.
Mahishasura used the magic of transformation
many times to fight against Durga
but was still killed by the goddess.
The goddesses heard the news of the victory
and breathed in relief.
Asura Raktabija
did not know the origin of Asura.
He only knew that he had a very special ability.
The god Brahma told him.
Every drop of his blood
when it sinks to the ground
will create another version of him
with a feature similar to that of Indra.
Thanks to this ability,
Raktabija fought with the goddess Durga
without hesitation.
His blood flowed from the wounds
to help him have a human army.
Finally, the goddess Kali appeared
and drank all the blood of Raktabija
to kill him.
Drinking too much of Raktabija's blood
made the goddess Kali almost go crazy
and become a terrifying goddess.
Asura Hiranyakasibu
Asura has a long, hard-to-remember name
in the legend of the ten incarnations of Vishnu.
He is a demon who is said to be almost immortal.
He prayed to Brahma
to grant him the wish
that he would never be killed
by the gods or humans.
Not killed in the daytime or at night,
in the house or outside.
The exact wish of the object,
time and place like that
seemed to help Hiranyakasibu become immortal,
make him become arrogant
and force everyone to worship him
as a supreme god.
Vishnu incarnated as Narasimha,
a half-human half-lion.
So not a human,
not a god.
Narasimha struck the electric current of Hiranyakasibu,
so that he did not have to stay in the house,
but not in the outside world.
And the god waited for the right time,
not in the daytime,
not at night,
using his claws to tear Hiranyakasibu.
Asura Rahu
In the legend of the event of the whirlpool,
Rahu was the only Asura
to drink immortal wine.
Unfortunately,
the wine just reached his throat
and Vishnu hit his head.
His number is really too small.
However, thanks to a little wine,
Rahu did not die,
but his head and body
became two stars.
That is Rahu or Lahau
and Ketu or Kedo.
Because of the hatred of the gods,
Rahu still tried to drink the moon
and the sun,
but only for a while,
because his throat was cut off.
That's why the phenomenon of immortality
and reality was born.
Asura Tarakasura
Tarakasura is a very ferocious Asura.
Legend has it that
when he was born,
the earth and heaven were shaking.
Since childhood, Tarakasura
has raised a group of enemies
who do not want to be with the gods Deva,
so they oppressed the Asura.
There is a version that
Indra choked him
and turned him into a snake
to bite Tarakasura's mother.
Tarakasura has only one desire,
that is to defeat the gods.
He knows his strength is not enough,
so he uses his training
to impress the god Brahma
and ask the god to give him immortality.
Brahma can not give
any creature such power,
but it can help him
with the conditions.
That's why he gave
Tarakasura a wish
that he would only be killed
by one of Shiva's children.
But now Shiva is being oppressed
because his first wife
Sita died,
so there is no child.
With the grace of Brahma,
Tarakasura is very confident
in conquering the world
and building an army.
He and the warriors
defeated the gods
and held the world for a while.
The gods lost the battle
and went to pray for help
and also blamed Brahma.
Brahma revealed the content
of Tarakasura's immortality.
So the gods did everything
to lure Shiva's wife,
the goddess Bhavati,
and give the gods
a boy named Katikaya.
Katikaya is only 7 years old,
but because of her father's greatness,
she is now the leader
of the world army,
creating a new hope
for all the gods
against Tarakasura's army.
After the fierce battle,
Katikaya killed Tarakasura.
However, the boy felt guilty
and regretted killing
a brave warrior like Tarakasura,
so he lit a candle
to pray for his soul
to escape soon.
Asura Ravana
Ravana is one of the most powerful
and talented Asuras
with 10 heads
and 20 arms.
People describe
Ravana's strength
as cosmic.
He can even sit
and arrange the positions
of the planets as he wishes.
Not only that,
he is also a wise man
who understands
all the scriptures
and music.
Ravana has the ability
to humanize all living creatures.
He has humanized his son
up to 10 million children.
If you worry about
giving birth to all these people,
you will be tired.
Therefore, Ravana's army
is very powerful.
Under Ravana's reign,
Lanka has existed for hundreds of years.
And of course,
he is also an ambitious man
In the Ramayana competition,
Ravana made a mistake
that led to his death.
He kidnapped Narsitha,
the wife of Prince Rama,
the main character.
There is another version
that he wanted to avenge
his sister Subhanaka
but Rama cut her nose.
It is said that in Ravana's belly
there is an immortal wine
given by the god Rama.
When Rama killed him,
Kumbhakarna,
Ravana's brother,
was one of the strongest
warriors in his brother's army.
Kumbhakarna has a large,
huge body.
Every year,
Kumbhakarna spends 6 months
to sleep.
And every time he wakes up,
he eats very well.
Legend has it that
Kumbhakarna asked Rama
to give him immortality.
Or maybe
Rama was old and deaf,
so Kumbhakarna
was able to sleep
so well.
In the Ramayana competition,
when Ravana's army was losing,
he had to use
10,000 elephants
to wake Kumbhakarna up
from his sleep.
Kumbhakarna is a very
reasonable Asura.
He advised his brother
Sita to avoid war.
But Ravana was stubborn.
Although he knew
Ravana was wrong,
but because of his loyalty to his brother,
Kumbhakarna still went to
fight Rama's army.
But unfortunately,
in this duel,
Kumbhakarna was killed by Rama.
However, people still often
praise him as a figure
of loyalty and courage.
The last one is Asura Madnatha.
Madnatha is also known as Indrajit,
the conqueror of Indra.
He is Ravana's son.
As expected,
Madnatha is a great warrior
that all gods
have to respect.
Legend has it that when he was born,
Madnatha cried like a lion.
Ravana was very hopeful
about this son
and wanted him to be immortal.
He didn't need to pray for immortality.
Ravana gave orders
in the sky
so that Madnatha
was born with immortality.
Unfortunately, everything in life
is not calculated as intended.
The earth is the only planet
that does not follow Ravana's arrangement.
Although he can't be immortal,
Madnatha is still said to have
invested in the best teacher,
the teacher of the most powerful Asuras,
like Chairon in the Greek myth.
Madnatha was educated
and used to master weapons
and magic.
Not only that,
he was also the only warrior
to possess three weapons
of the three gods Trimurti,
that is, Brahmanda Astra,
the god of Brahma,
Vishnu's Vajnavata,
Shiva's Basubhatra.
Madnatha, in the Ramayana,
even defeated Rama and Lakhmana
twice,
killing nearly 700 million Vanaras,
the monkey army of Rama,
per day.
Finally, Lakhmana also had to
ask for the support of Viphishana,
the uncle of Madnatha
and also a traitor,
so he killed Madnatha.
Viphishana led Lakhmana
to the place of Yajina,
a magical ritual of Madnatha
that if it was destroyed
by Brahma,
Madnatha would be defeated.
Clearly, this is an unfair battle
for Madnatha.
