Hello, nice to see you again.
In today's video, I will continue to share with you the story of the baby's malnutrition.
More specifically, we talk about some mistakes in the feeding process that can make our baby easier to develop malnutrition.
For the baby's malnutrition, about 90% of the baby's malnutrition is related to the feeding principles,
while about 10% of the baby's malnutrition is related to other specific factors, such as psychological and psychological health,
when changing the stages of the baby's development, or malnutrition due to the pregnancy of the baby.
Therefore, in order to prevent the baby's malnutrition or to treat the baby's malnutrition,
we need to focus the most on building the principles related to the baby's malnutrition.
Today, I will share with you two common mistakes that we still make in the feeding process.
The first mistake is to feed the baby early.
How is it called early?
The World Health Organization, WHO, advises that the baby should be fully breastfed within the first 6 months,
and then we can feed the baby.
In the process of implementing the WHO's advice, there are different changes in many countries.
Not every country applies the 6-month period, but although there is an adjustment, the time frame is around 6 months.
Around 6 months here, you can understand that it was a few weeks ago, or a few weeks later.
There is also another advice from the WHO, which is to feed the baby as soon as possible when the baby is about 17 weeks old.
This advice is for some special babies that need to be fed earlier.
For example, I often share with you about babies who have postpartum pregnancy,
there will be a doctor's examination, and in some cases, the baby will be fed earlier.
Because these babies eat more dense foods, their postpartum or postpartum state will be better.
All of our babies should be breastfed around 6 months old,
and especially not allowed to breastfeed before 17 weeks old.
When feeding the baby early, we have to face the following reasons.
First, it can increase the risk of developing eating disorders in the baby.
The second risk is definitely the risk of disrupting the digestive tract, causing diseases in the baby's digestive tract.
Our baby's digestive system is very young, and at first it was only suitable to digest milk, breast milk, or breast milk.
From about 4 to 6 months old, the digestive system begins to develop,
and it produces digestive enzymes to digest other types of food.
The earliest is from 4 months, and it develops gradually.
It is estimated to be around 6 months old, then it is completed,
it will have enough digestive enzymes so that we can feed the baby more dense foods.
Thus, if the baby is fed early, there will be many risks to the baby's digestive tract,
increasing the risk of disrupting the digestive tract.
When the digestive tract is disrupted, the baby is prone to inflammation of the digestive tract,
then we can use antibiotics to increase the risk of disrupting the digestive tract for the baby.
And the consequences will definitely lead to situations such as malnutrition,
making our baby slow to gain weight, and making our baby lazy to eat.
So the consequences of feeding the baby early will come slowly but relatively difficult to overcome.
Many mothers will see that the baby's period from 3 to 4 months old is naturally malnourished.
It is true that the baby's period of malnutrition is not just drinking milk,
the amount of milk is only about 2.3 or 1.5 times more than before,
but the baby still drinks milk, so it is very difficult for the baby to produce milk.
During the day, the baby does not drink milk, and at night it is difficult for the baby to sleep.
After that, we feed the baby, feed the baby so that it is full and easy to sleep.
Or at the beginning of the baby's period, the baby still eats.
At night, we also see that the baby's behavior is much calmer.
But in fact, at the beginning of the baby's period, the baby has a strange mouth.
Drinking milk, it tastes like that.
When you give the baby a new food, the baby has a strange mouth and eats it.
The baby's mouth can eat, but the baby's stomach is not used to it.
The baby's stomach is struggling to get used to a new food.
The situation you often encounter is about a few months old.
The baby still eats well, but then the baby's digestive tract is worse.
When the baby eats heavy food, the baby often has a stomachache or the digestive tract is damaged.
Or it is more difficult for the baby to eat.
The baby eats less and less every day.
This consequence comes gradually, so the parents will not pay much attention to it.
Therefore, I remind you that the first rule is not to feed the baby too early.
We usually choose the time around 6 months old.
For example, the most popular method is to apply from the age of 5.5 months.
If the baby eats less than 6 months, the baby will eat less than 6 months.
