During her trip, Kylie shared a post on her Instagram story, which seemed cool and emotional until the car crash happened. In the post, Kylie reminisced about being a child and being on road trips with her father and sister. She shared how she missed her position at the back seat with her sister. Kylie was teary in the video, and one could tell that she missed her father, who died at the age of 52. A few hours before her death, she tweeted about her car gas almost getting empty and how she did not want to be stranded in New Mexico. Kylie never made it out of New Mexico. She drew in her last breath in a three-vehicle collision. According to the police, Kylie was driving south on State Road 522 in a black Chevrolet Equinox. She rammed into a black Chevrolet Avalanche, launching her car into the traffic-packed northbound lane. Her vehicle caused a head-on collision with the Jeep of a 16-year-old. Kylie and the teenager were pronounced dead at the scene, but the third driver escaped injury. Before Kylie took that trip, she released a song in honor of her daughter, Corby, who she doted over and flaunted on social media. Her father explained that he had run into a cow guard after asking him what had gone wrong. Apparently, Kylie's father had run into a cow.
