Two teams are with us, Newcastle United and Arsenal.
It's black and white stripes, black shorts and black socks for Eddie Howe's men.
And now St James' Park rises as one.
There will be a period of reflection with Newcastle and Arsenal
honouring service personnel with a score, 0-0.
To take the goal kick, his defenders jog forwards up towards halfway,
Burn comes to head on.
Wilson down on his chest, wants a free kick, we're going to.
Burn is now down, having taken a blow from the aerial challenge,
he's flat on his back.
To Trippier, and then back out wide to Gordon, corner of the area.
Taking on Saka, he's found Bruno edge of the box, can't get the shot away,
floats in the cross, headed down, and then Wilson!
Offside flags up anyway, but that was a huge chance,
and Callum Wilson will be delighted that the assistant has flagged for offside,
because he stuck it over the bar by some distance as well.
Yeah, as I mentioned earlier, we're guarding Arsenal's corners,
we do have a height advantage, and those balls for us are a big danger to Arsenal,
and we just locked the ball up.
Dan Burns, power to player, the Arsenal defender.
It's an Arsenal throw on the left, Havertz looking for Saka, Fabian Scher,
brilliant recovery challenge, Longstaff caught next.
Off the side of the pitch, Longstaff is rolling around,
and Havertz is having to be led away.
Stuart Atwell ran straight over to Havertz,
and the supporters next to us are furious and all on their feet.
And Anthony Gordon's been yellow-carded somehow, he can't believe it.
Longstaff is still down.
It was naughty, the ball had gone, he's asked the referee to hurry up,
but he's not yellow-carded.
Kettier heads on, Scher away, Bruno's on the ball,
Rice makes the challenge, Bruno is down.
This is Kai Havertz for that tackle.
Just to ask a straight-out question to the referee,
what is your definition of a red card?
Free kick into the box, Almiron with it, right-hand side.
To Trippier, good delivery from Trippier, Gordon at the back post!
At the ball towards goal, and Raya claims down by his right-hand post.
Picks out the pass and it's to Bruno, and Kettier on his shoulder,
cries of man-on, on to Joelinton, it's promising,
it's blocked at the edge of the box, the Joelinton shot,
it hit Gabriel, Gordon back to Bruno,
hits it low but drags it wide of the near post.
Away to the left, Martinelli, great first touch heading into the area,
back onto his right, Gabriel Martinelli, big trouble here,
and Pope stands tall, pats the ball down and then catches.
Another good break from Arsenal, probably Sean will realise
he maybe took the wrong option with the pass there,
there was an overload on the right.
Joelinton, good take, lovely ball to Gordon, middle of Arsenal's half.
Trippier on the outside, receives it from Almiron,
clips it into the middle towards Wilson,
headed away by who else but Saliba,
who's been terrific at the back in the first half,
then Newcastle win a throw through pressing in numbers,
and with great desire on the far side.
Cher now to burn in front of the halfway line, on to Gordon.
Is that a foul by White?
Referee has blown for half-time,
and the response is not towards the Newcastle players,
it's all for the referee, because the supporters generally
and some of the Newcastle players and staff
feel that Kai Havert should have been sent off.
Committed bodies forwards for this Arsenal,
Trippier heads away, Tomiasu won,
and then it was Nketiah who took a swing at it,
Newcastle clear it up to Wilson,
and they might have a chance with Almiron on the run.
Edge of the area, through for Anthony Gordon,
left side of the box, Gordon, it's blocked.
And it's picked up by Raya.
Oh, it just wouldn't quite come together.
Just didn't quite fall for him.
Callum Wilson's battle with Gabriel Magalhaes has ended,
because Wilson is coming off,
and that may well be with a thought to Tuesday in Dortmund.
Anthony Gordon's gone to centre-forward,
Joel Inton's gone to left wing with Willock in midfield,
and Jacob Murphy, back from a shoulder injury,
comes on for Miguel Almiron,
who played more football than they intended to give him
at Manchester United.
Yeah, I think that'll probably be as much as being out for the goalkeeper at times,
but yeah, we've got energy on the pitch now,
Murphy's another player who's massively improved under the manager.
Ball over the top, Joel Inton on his chest,
Gabriel's there, he's lost it,
Jacob Murphy in the area...
And it's kept in, is it, by Willock, brilliant from Willock,
the far side, looks for the cross,
it's on the line, it's cross goal.
Towards Joel Inton, it dropped away from Raya,
and then stuck it in, almost on the goal line,
it's Newcastle United 1-0 Arsenal.
Just talking about energy, pace, that just came off the pitch.
Arsenal players, Steve, have surrounded the referee,
they are all with Stuart Atwell,
I don't know whether they feel the ball went out,
maybe that's what they're looking at,
or possibly a foul on the keeper,
but Gordon has his fourth of the season,
there's surely nothing wrong with that, is there?
There's no foul there, the only thing it possibly could be is out of play,
but we haven't seen the replay,
so hopefully we'll get the break we deserve, I think.
Maybe Joel Inton collided with Gabriel in the box near the line,
he's in communication with VAR,
it's a goal!
It's a goal for Newcastle United,
and it is 1-0.
Judged onside by VAR.
Seconds away from victory, Newcastle,
over-hit ball, Joel...
And fist pumps thrown back towards Joel Inton.
A huge roar from the Melbourne stand.
Fans on their feet, waiting to herald another Newcastle United victory
over one of the big teams,
the final whistle.
Newcastle United fences,
eventually allowed to stand,
and what a result, inflicting a first Premier League defeat
on the team that finished second last season,
and it is very much wanting to compete for the title this time around.
A team that won at St James' Park just over six months ago,
and it sends them back up to sixth place in the table,
and seven Premier League matches unbeaten,
and they go to Dortmund on the back of a massive victory, Steve Watson.
Tremendous victory.
