A Russian arms manufacturer claims it has developed a Starlink terminal detection radar and will test it on the battlefield in Ukraine, shortly before the Russian military says it has seized Elon Musk's satellite Internet site as a trophy.The former head of Roscosmos also revealed that Russia has created and delivered its own battlefield communications satellite system.
Russian local media quickly concluded that because Russia had acquired Starlink user equipment, it had a chance to study the terminals or use them in the fight against Ukraine.
In October, Russian media said Russian forces would use the Tirada-2S satellite communications electronic jamming system against Starlink.
In November, Russia's state-run TASS news agency reported that the country was preparing to deploy a space-based satellite network called "Skif" to provide affordable high-speed Internet access.
