The war between Russia and Ukraine is still raging in its 11th month.European and American countries have recently decided to provide more aid to the Ukrainian army, including the supply of German-made tanks such as Leopard and Challenger 2.According to independent journalists, the Czech arms company Excalibur Army has modernized the main T-72 tanks and shipped them to Ukraine.Twenty modern tanks are said to have arrived in Ukraine so far.
The Czech Republic recently announced that it would supply the Ukrainian army with a batch of refurbished T-72M main battle tanks and a TREVA 30 tactical rescue vehicle produced by Excalibur, a Czech defence company.Czech Prime Minister Pyotr Fiala reportedly visited the company's T-72M tank modification line and signed one of the tanks.The tanks will be provided as part of military aid to Ukraine for its spring counter-offensive.
