I've been looking for a premium diecast of the Transformers cars since I started collecting diecast. this is the first one which comes from a premium brand - Tarmac Works. With a brake disc that stays in position was the wheels turn, accurately placed fine tampos and metallic sheen to the paintwork - this model of the Mercedes AMG GT-R is fantastic. I only wish Tarmac Works did the rest of the Autobots.

hi everyone most of you who watch this
Channel and know me know that I love
Transformers as well as diecast cars and
Transformers you know that because they
turn into Vehicles that's what got me
into diecast cars you know it kind of
grew on me so in a previous video
I reviewed this little minifigure of
drift and
his car from the Transformers robots in
Disguise cartoon back in 2015 was this
one
this orange version
in a previous video
um I've reviewed this CQ Bugatti which
is what drift turned into in Age of
Extinction the fourth Transformers film
from Michael Bay
and this is a minifigure from Simba the
key toys which is drift in the fifth
film the last night and this video I'm
gonna show you tarmac Works movie
replica edition of Drift from the last
night which is the Mercedes AMG
GTR
2017 so
this is like a really tarmac works
is a more a premium brand and you're
quite interesting because siku and you
know this other one uh from Simba toys
Simba Dicky toys really you know just
for kids budget level this is for
collectors and um
I'm gonna show you this
foreign
if you're interested in all this stuff
normally I go through it but what I'm
going to do is you can just um
freeze the video
and just check it
this thing the main thing that I see
is this let me say this mg GTR 2017
and this license by Daimler which is
always good to see it's got a nice
hologram which most car brands do like
Lamborghini
whenever you see them a die-cast model
made 164 and I think it's true to scale
so I'm gonna take this off here
comes in acrylic case
okay let's just examine it with its
while it's still on this
base so
out of the you know
straight away for me what I notice about
this is um the plastic case obscures the
gloss of the paint when it's out looks
really nice
that's like kind of like a rubbery
material
a bit of dust maybe from the factory
still on it
it's looking really nice
that orange
yeah you can already see from the video
really pops very metallic
works well with
reflective lights such as this my LED
lamp that I'm using for this video
you can see it was like the
hole for the plastic insert coming out
but you know it doesn't look bad like
could be improved but it's not as bad as
you know
they see cute eyes are there you know
turning it into like a cars film
uh but okay let's look at the front
it's a really nice Grill Mercedes AMG
GTR
maybe I could have put a license plate
on like actual
maybe the one from the film
and on the side what a brilliant model
I'm going to unscrew this off later and
show you the base as well but I thought
I'd show you the side for now let's see
if you can see an interior maybe it's
too reflective
there is an interior you can see a
dashboard here but I think it's probably
very basic actually inside
yeah you can see a seat there but I
can't really appreciate the rest of it
maybe I can see if the
here we go so you can see it oh look at
that we've got the Mercedes logo right
in the middle of the steering wheel
but yeah it's a shame because it none of
the doesn't open so we can't see
the full details inside
these wheels brilliant look at these
spokes really nice
it's a 10 spoke yeah with like a rim
what's that that rubber yes it's rubber
tires as well
we've got this small tampo here
Vanessa's V8 GT something it's not quite
as clear as I hoped it'd be
overall really really cool
casting
um this rear light is also plastic
insert
love the Highlight on the spoiler
and then on the back we can see
some more tempos
GTR
so I don't know if that's supposed to be
continuously orange all the way around
there's a slight split here maybe she's
just missed the mark there on the
printing
but overall really nice shape
okay let's get it off the base
okay so here is what the base looks like
pretty simple nothing over the
complicated at all
just a few lines here and there
Wheels They Don't Really Turn very well
oh look I've got like a brake disc in
there let me show you
look at that so when you turn yeah the
disc all the calipers the brake calipers
are still there
and on this one as well that's a really
cool touch
so yeah the wheels turn if you force
them hard enough but this will not
freely roll
um which is a shame because I love as
you know reeling Wheels
I like the fun element of the Die Cast
I'll be so this spoilers plastic
fail to mentioned I love this wrap
around
metallic orange really nice okay okay
here's the turnaround of the vehicle
looking really nice
really
quality paint apps
like I say orange highlights really
shiny glossy black
it looks like it's true 164 scale
and the details on this one uh much you
know High very evident compared to
you know say Hot Wheels Matchbox atomica
those kind of brands
it does look like a model of the vehicle
rather than just a toy
and looks well with the others so
yeah I'll put some I'll get some
pictures later with the other cars
okay let me know what you think in the
comments below which which tarmac Works
cars do you have which ones are your
favorites
um with the new Transformers film coming
up this summer maybe tarmac works we'll
do some more replicas of the cars who
knows I don't think I did any of the
other Transformers from The Last Knight
which is a shame
uh maybe they just had a deal with
Mercedes they just did this one for that
film but overall it came out really
spectacular really nice casting
all right I'll see you in the next video
this circuit was massive it's like 155
in scale
that's just back to 164.
I think it's a shame that drift they
couldn't get the rights back for Bugatti
um for that
for the film
but
either way still looks nice
there we go drift drift and drift
I think my favorite of them all is the
Bugatti but the Mercedes pretty close
second
