Hot Wheels - Firebird Funny Car - 1982 Authentic Commemorative Replica - Hot Rod G1 Transformer

I researched this car because I'm interested in the cars that Transformers transform into. The magenta colour, the firebird design and the quad exhaust from the sides ... can only bring one autobot to mind and that's Hot Rod! Officially, Hot Rod's futuristic mode was based off the Dome Zero, but that doesn't account for the other features aside from the red colour and wedge shaped vehicle. I'm pretty sure Hot Rod is a mash up of both the Dome Zero, this Firebird and a massive yellow spoiler.

This model features a pop-up feature where one can see the interior - very cool moving part! It's an older casting, but still a nice one.
