Here is the equation in two dimensions that we have taught you.
Money comes from a salary obtained through a job.
So, who has a hard time with that, you would tell me?
I will assume that if you watch this video, you want to earn money.
A lot of money.
And this in a period of time as short as possible.
If this is your goal, then this equation that we have just discussed to generate money
will never allow you to achieve it.
The reality is that with a salary of 20 dollars an hour,
you can become a millionaire only at a very advanced age.
And this while living a very moderate way of life.
And at that moment, most of this precious resource that time has given you
will have passed you by.
You will have exchanged all your time for this sum of money
and in the end, you will not even be able to take advantage of it.
Now, how is it that there are millionaires and self-taught billionaires
who are still so young?
What makes them different?
Well, the truth is that they have a better equation of wealth than you.
Stop running after money.
Run after problems.
And find the solution to these problems.
And if there was a way to get there?
A real equation of wealth.
A science behind the operation of money.
And if you did not have to give up your dreams of paying your parents' house
or traveling around the world,
would you treat me as a liar?
If so, make a mistake.
At the end of this video, you will have understood that there is a way
to concretely enrich yourself.
You will understand that there is a side of the coin that we do not show you.
And that is to say, that there is a side of the coin that we do not show you.
But I warn you.
The path is hard.
It is full of ups and downs.
And you will have to accept some painful truths about the school system and society.
But I have not told you yet and allow me to be clear.
Many of you will not get to the end of this path.
But for those of you who will succeed,
at the other end of this road,
is the wealth and in quantity much higher than you thought you could reach.
At the end of this road,
is the freedom
to never have to worry about money again.
So,
are you following me?
Part 1.
The lies we told you.
What do you really think of money?
Is it something you earn?
Is it something you inherit?
Is it, according to you, the very root of all problems?
Are you ready for anything to have more?
Have you ever run after money?
The truth is that what you think of money
has been largely influenced by your education and your environment.
If you were born in a family that did not have a lot of money growing up,
well, you are more inclined to believe that in your life,
you have more chances of not earning a lot.
Or maybe even that you will earn very little.
Or if you decide to earn as much money as possible
to never be in this situation again,
the fact that school did not teach you much about it does not fix things.
And because of that,
most of you will have false beliefs about money
that will not help you in your journey.
So stay with me,
because you will have to change the way you perceive money.
Hollywood has always had the habit of portraying the rich
as malicious, authoritarian or corrupt individuals.
Now the question is whether you agree with this stereotype.
A recent report published by WealthX
has shown that among the ultra-rich of our world,
those who have a net worth of 30 million or more,
68% of them,
this wealth was created by themselves.
And it seems that all other studies support this conclusion.
Warren Buffett,
self-taught billionaire.
Howard Schultz,
born in poverty.
Oprah Winfrey,
born in poverty.
Jeff Bezos,
self-taught billionaire.
Elon Musk,
self-taught billionaire.
Sarah Blakely,
self-taught billionaire.
Now what do these people know that you do not know?
Well, the truth
is that your wealth equation
is completely wrong.
Here is the two-dimensional equation that we have taught you.
Money comes from a salary obtained through a job.
So we come to the fact
that for most people,
getting a job
becomes the only goal of all their education.
So is there a problem with that, you would tell me?
I will assume that if you watch this video,
you want to make money,
a lot of money,
but in a period of time as short as possible.
If this is your goal,
then this equation that we have just addressed to generate money
will never allow you to achieve it.
We all have access to a precious resource,
the most important resource of our existence.
And once it is exhausted,
there is no way to recover it.
This resource is time.
In a standard job,
the amount of money you earn
depends on the amount of time you devote to this job.
If you earn $ 20 an hour and work 40 hours a week,
it would take you almost 24 years
to reach a total of $ 1 million.
But that's not counting the taxes or expenses
you incur during these 24 years.
And let's not forget that inflation would cripple this $ 1 million
and make it less precious.
The reality is that with a $ 20 salary per hour,
you can become a millionaire
only at a very advanced age.
And this while living a very moderate lifestyle.
And at that moment,
most of this precious resource
that time has given you,
you will have exchanged all your time
for this sum of money
and in the end, you won't even be able to make the most of it.
Now, how come there are millionaires
and self-taught billionaires
who are still so young?
What makes them different?
Well, the truth is
that they have a better equation of wealth than you.
They have a way of understanding money
that you haven't quite grasped yet.
Be very careful from now on.
Stop running after money.
In a capitalist society,
the rules of the game are as follows.
You are paid proportionally to your perceived value.
Now, who perceives this value?
It's the market.
The market is you, your friends, your family,
your neighbors, the inhabitants of your country.
People complain about the fact that football players
are supposedly overpaid.
But for football players to be paid millions,
there must first be a market around the football industry.
People must perceive value in football
so that people want to spend money
in matches and derivative products.
And if the market is very demanding of football,
guess what happens to the players
who are at the top of their game?
They are generously paid for it.
Understand that you are not paid
depending on how hard you work.
The housewife who sweats and gets tired
every day doing her job
is much less paid than the accountant
sitting behind an office.
Why?
Because the market perceives the value of the work
brought by the housewife
as being much lower than that of the accountant.
Because as hard as it may seem,
the person who cleans can be replaced by anyone.
Almost everyone is able to do this job.
And therefore,
the market will no longer pay this person than the accountant.
But how to increase our perceived value?
What makes people like Elon Musk or Jeff Bezos
have such a high perceived value?
The first step to this equation of wealth is very simple.
Solve problems.
If you take a second to digest this statement,
you will realize that almost all money
rests on this basic principle.
If you solve a problem,
the money will come to you.
Now, if it's a $ 1,000,000 problem,
the solution will bring you millions.
If it's a $ 1,000,000 problem,
the solution will bring you billions.
Think of all the problems that a site like Amazon solves.
The boredom of going to a store,
the boredom of having to wait weeks for a delivery,
lower prices, etc.
And not to mention all the other companies
that Amazon owns
and all the problems that these companies solve.
Jeff Bezos has helped to solve a problem
that weighs billions
and has been rewarded for this effort.
If you run after money,
you're going the wrong way.
It seems almost paradoxical,
but if you want money,
it's not the money you have to look for,
it's the problems you have to look for.
But above all,
look for the solutions to these problems.
And once you have found this solution,
you just have to create a business around it.
Wait, so that's it?
Just solve problems for money to appear?
So if I understand what you're telling me,
I'm going to have to create the next Amazon,
the next Facebook or Google to be rich?
Are you kidding me?
I don't even know how to code.
I don't even have the money to launch something of this magnitude.
Always start with a problem.
And to find a problem,
listen to the market around you.
What bothers people?
What, according to people, should exist?
What frustrates people?
What do people consider incredibly embarrassing?
Is it a problem you can solve?
And is it worth solving?
Part 3.
A problem that is worth solving.
The last step in the equation of wealth
is to find a scalable solution to the problem.
In other words,
your solution must be able to reach a large number of people.
Launch a restaurant?
This solution will never make you rich.
Why?
Because you will be limited to the local area
and the attendance of this area.
But a franchise?
There you have potential.
If your solution is a software,
if so,
once the software has been built,
you can sell it unlimitedly.
And without worrying about production or expedition costs.
Because everything happens virtually.
Now, good luck to find an infinite potential with a simple job.
Let's say you are a yoga teacher
and you earn $100 an hour.
Congratulations!
You just created another job disguised as a business.
You can only give a certain number of lessons in one day.
As a result, your income is therefore limited in time.
But if you create an online yoga class available 24 hours a day,
with lessons that you will only have to create once,
there, you end up with an unlimited potential business.
Finding evolutionary potential solutions is essential in this regard.
You should not get lost on this point.
Automation also plays an important role.
Good systems and processes will allow your company to function almost automatically.
If there is something in your company that you can subcontract to someone else,
or you can hire someone to do it for you,
assuming that it is financially profitable for you to do it,
then do it.
Taking care of everything by yourself is a bad thing.
Even if you think you are the best,
there is always someone who can do a better job than you.
Once you have found this solution,
it is your job to ensure that this solution is accessible to everyone on your market.
It's not about your ego,
and it's not about what you're passionate about either.
The market doesn't care about your passions.
Now that your company is profitable and that the right systems and processes are in place,
it's time to move on and reap what you sowed.
Part 4
The reward
At this stage, you have two choices.
Either you continue your activity,
or you sell your company.
It's acquisition.
The moment someone buys the solution around which you have spent years building a company.
It's Instagram that was bought by Facebook for $1 billion.
It's PayPal that was bought by eBay for $1.5 billion,
including $165 million that went directly into Elon Musk's pocket.
And the countless other liquidation events that occur in the world.
This is where all the efforts you have made to build your company bear fruit.
And if you choose to continue to grow your company,
it's because there are a multitude of reasons why you want to do it.
Maybe you love the company so much that you created that you want to keep it.
Maybe you think you can add value to the company,
and sell it later for a higher amount than its current value.
Maybe this company is working passively in the background,
so that you don't have to do much to make it work.
Or maybe it's a combination of these three elements.
Either way, you did it.
You solved a problem that the market wanted to see solved,
and it favorably rewarded you for it.
But now, maybe you're wondering,
what's the point of all this?
Part 5. Your money or your life.
For most of you, it has never been a question of money.
Money is just a piece of paper.
A figure on a screen.
Its value is supported only by our belief in it.
From the start, it has never been a question of money.
Pay your house, buy the car of your dreams,
travel around the world without ever having to worry about your financial situation.
It is freedom that we all seek.
Your destination is not tied to money,
but to a feeling, a sensation.
To the possibility of doing what you want when you want it.
And this without ever having to ask yourself,
can I afford it?
Can I go back on vacation this year?
How am I going to pay my rent?
What dreams am I going to have to sacrifice?
Because I don't have the means to pursue them.
The most important lesson of this video has never been about the nature of money,
but about the only precious resource we all have.
The only resource we will never be able to recover.
Time.
Is the fact of devoting a large part of your time to a job you probably don't like worth it?
Would it suit you if for all your life you were doomed to work,
go home, watch TV, sleep,
wake up the next day and repeat the same cycle until retirement?
How many hours of your life are you going to let go because of this pattern?
Or maybe this reality suits you.
Maybe you have no choice but to follow this path for the moment.
And if so, there is no need to worry.
In this case, everything you will have taken away from this video,
it's a bit of entertainment and maybe a change of perspective.
But there are those of you who understand the other side.
Those of you who want to never have to worry about money again.
That's why I owe you to remember it.
Stop running after money.
Run after problems.
And find the solution to these problems.
Thank you for watching.
