That's the problem with the Vazimolo generation, in which we live.
The Vazimolo mentality, this mentality to seek balance.
Now I do not advise that you have to be so unbalanced that you spend all your time to earn money,
to end up massively overweight,
end up finding yourself alone, and be mentally out of control.
But, my God, as far as this Vazimolo mentality is concerned,
some of you have swallowed this idea for far too long.
How's everyone doing?
Welcome to the Big A Show, the Bedroskelian Show.
My name is Bedroskelian, and this particular episode was inspired by an Instagram post that I had published.
And on this post, I was talking about this strange belief system that...
You know, if the first thing you do in the morning is to press the snooze button,
what you do is that you prepare yourself to lose for the rest of the day.
And we'll come back to that in a moment, but...
This episode, this show, this subject, has taken a long time to come, and here's why.
It seems to me that people are starting to become more tender and more gentle towards themselves.
It's almost as if people were looking for this escape,
against the fact of doing the necessary work to achieve the life they really want and need.
And so, the other day I posted something on Instagram,
on which there was something effective.
You know, I believe that if you want to have a good reputation with yourself,
in other words, if you want to have confidence in yourself,
because if you ask yourself the question,
confidence is just the reputation you have with yourself.
For example, if you want to have a good confidence in yourself,
that you ask yourself, how can I have great confidence in myself?
You just need to have a good reputation with yourself.
Think about that.
If I don't believe you, it's because I don't have confidence in you,
which could mean that you have a bad reputation.
And so, if you want to build your own confidence in yourself at a high level,
then you have to start building a better reputation towards yourself.
And so, this reputation is a by-product, compared to what I said on this post,
of keeping the promises you make to yourself.
So think about it this way.
Every night, when we're going to bed, just before going to bed,
most of us set our alarm for the next morning.
In other words, we make a promise to ourselves
that we're going to get up at a certain time,
and you set this alarm according to the things you have to do that day,
which will help you move towards your goals in life.
Okay.
I mean, otherwise you wouldn't set an alarm.
You would just say,
Hey, whatever, I'm going to get up at any time and do anything.
But, I suppose that if you set an alarm, it's because you have things to do,
and that these things you have to do will either bring you closer to your goals,
or take you away from your goals.
Now, I can't imagine that someone can wake up at any time
and start doing stupid things like being stuck on his social media,
wasting time,
and finally only doing a few of his tasks during his day.
And there's a good chance that if you listen to a show like this,
you're probably very efficient and you want to do more in life.
And so you set this alarm to...
In my case, I always set my alarm at 5.30 a.m.
And when this alarm rings, I never press the snooze button.
Now, if I press the snooze button,
it means that I broke the promise I made to myself.
I have now become unworthy of trust and doubtful.
My conscience, my subconscious mind tells me that I have a bad reputation with myself,
and that I am not worthy of a greater success,
nor of the realization of my ambitions and my dreams.
And so, if you see things this way,
then it makes sense not to press the snooze button.
And that's what I said on this Instagram post.
And of course, a bullet hole decided to comment on this post.
Hey bro, it all looks a little extreme.
Why don't you prefer to go slowly instead?
Who has trouble sleeping a little more?
Well, I'm going to tell you what there is trouble sleeping a little more.
It's the problem with the VASIMOLO generation,
in which we live.
The VASIMOLO mentality.
This mentality to seek balance.
Now, I do not advise that you have to be so unbalanced,
and that you have to be so unbalanced,
that you have to be so unbalanced,
that you spend all your time making money,
to end up massively overweight,
end up finding yourself alone,
and be mentally out of control.
But, my God.
As far as this VASIMOLO mentality is concerned,
some of you have swallowed this idea for far too long.
And the way I see it, is that throughout life, my guy,
either we can be aircraft hangers,
or we can be fighter planes.
And I'm talking about that in my last book.
I'm talking about the fact that,
there is someone who is irrefutable in his life.
It's someone who has an idea of his goal,
of his vocation,
and who works every day to achieve this goal.
Now, of course, some days you will reach more of your targets,
and that others, you will reach less.
But what is certain is that every day,
you move towards your goals.
It's the mentality of fighter planes.
That's how you work.
You are oriented towards action.
You have this predisposition
to align yourself with action.
And then you have this VASIMOLO generation, as I like to call it,
who will come and tell you,
Hey bro, calm down!
What's wrong with you?
Why can't you just relax a little?
Press the snooze button from time to time.
You can stay 10 to 20 minutes more in bed, it doesn't matter.
But I'll tell you where the problem is with that.
You made a promise to yourself the day before,
and now you press the snooze button.
And so what you do is that you tell your subconscious
that you are a loser.
That you can't even keep your own promises.
You end up making a series of bad decisions
throughout your day.
While for me, I don't press the snooze button,
but many successful people I know
don't press the snooze button.
And thanks to that, I get up and dominate my day.
I get up, I drink my 900 ml of water.
Then I send my 3 SMS of gratitude
to 3 people I love,
for whom I feel a great gratitude
and a great appreciation.
People who may have helped me in my journey of life.
Because I know that at a certain point in the day,
these 3 people will answer me by message
to tell me how happy they are,
how grateful and happy they are
that I have sent them this message.
And I know that, you can believe me,
it's been almost 10 years now
that I send 3 SMS of gratitude per day.
And every time I do, very often people answer me
thank you very much, I needed to hear that.
Things didn't go very well for me today
and I needed to hear that.
Thank you very much for being this ray of sun,
for being this light in my life.
So at least 3 times a day,
I receive a positive affirmation
that encourages me for the rest of my day.
And as I kept my promise to myself,
I am more likely to accumulate more victories.
Every time I drank my 900ml of water,
I sent my 3 SMS of gratitude.
And only after that,
I launch an episode of my favorite podcast on Spotify.
I listen to it while I take a shower,
I take care of myself, etc.
Then I turn off the podcast,
I take my coffee, my protein shaker
and I start working on my laptop.
I continue to accumulate victories
and at 9am I go to the gym.
And once again, I accumulate victories.
And when I get to the gym at 11am,
I am ready to dominate my day.
I press the snooze button.
But now, what would happen
if I decided to relax instead
and sleep 10, 15 or 20 minutes more?
Well, maybe I would only drink half of my water.
Maybe I would start taking some shortcuts
because I lost time.
Not to send my 3 SMS of gratitude.
You see?
Because I have to catch up.
You know, these 10, 15, 20 minutes will be lost somewhere.
And then maybe I'll even tell myself,
you know what, maybe I'm going to skip my workout today.
Or I'm going to go, but I'm going to have a little session.
And you can see that with this very small alternative,
my day has become shit.
But so,
what would be the formula
for a productive, efficient and profitable day
that would make me satisfied
once I get to the evening?
Because there it was a day of chaos,
led by this feeling of being late,
of anxiety, of incongruity,
of feeling like a hypocrite.
Because, my God, am I going to qualify as a leader today?
And publish optimistic posts
on social networks?
Try to help the world?
Try to move my businesses forward?
When I was so weak?
And I gave in to the temptation to press
this fucking snus button?
And so in life,
either we can operate like a fighter plane,
and be irrefutable.
Either we can operate like a bandage plane,
and ask ourselves, well, what do I want to do?
Oh, well, I want to go slowly today.
Because don't get it wrong, guys.
Every morning, I want
to press the snus button.
I want to go on social networks
before drinking my water,
or send my SMS of gratitude.
But it is regularity,
linked to discipline,
that leads me to win in life.
