You really have to understand that to follow excellence has never been as easy as it is today,
because of the opportunity we have thanks to technology.
And to get where you want to go, you're going to have to put your fucking fingers in your fucking ears
and ignore the advice of these impostors who know nothing about it.
Ok, your friends you have right now, as a young man or a young woman,
maybe out of the 30 friends you think you have, in 10 years you will probably only have one.
And again, that's if you're lucky.
So don't take your life for granted.
Don't take their word to heart.
Today's message is addressed to those of you who are young,
to those of you who are just trying to understand what they want to do with their lives.
I want you to understand something very clear from the start.
If you are ambitious, if you want to succeed,
if you have big dreams, big goals, big aspirations,
and if you want to live a great life, you will have to become very comfortable
with the people around you who criticize you, ok?
These people who make fun of you, who say shit about you,
who make despicable remarks to you.
These people, when you have accomplished what you want to accomplish,
they will still be exactly where they are today.
And I know it because I went through this process.
And I see so many young people, I see so many ambitious people,
I see so many people who want to grow up,
who stop working to grow up,
because a single fucking idiot,
who doesn't even know the difference between his fucking arm and his fucking leg,
told them that they were crazy,
or that they were morally misaligned,
or that their dreams were unrealistic,
or that you think you are someone you are not.
Guys, all this shit, all this shit you hear,
every person who has succeeded,
whether they are people you know or not,
that you saw on the internet, that you saw on TV,
all these people you want to look like,
who have lives you want to live,
they all heard the same things.
I heard the same things.
And it's only when it becomes absolutely clear
that you are winning,
that these people start listening to you.
And it's going to be something very strange to live for you.
Because suddenly, these old friends who criticized you,
what you are certainly seeing right now,
will turn around and say,
my guy, you know, I always believed in you.
Dude, I'm really proud of you.
And maybe they are,
but it certainly has not always been the case.
And when it happens, you always know it.
So it's a very good lesson for everyone who gets it.
The lesson is the following.
This bunch of bastards know nothing about it.
Okay?
All these people are people who have never been surrounded by winners,
who have never won themselves,
who have never touched victory,
who have never felt victory,
who have never experienced victory.
And you are there to listen to them,
about what is possible or not.
And you let them discourage you in your quest.
Guys, it's the stupidest thing you can do.
And a lot of people ruin their lives
much more because of that than anything else.
A lot of people ruin their dreams
and end up living a life that makes them super unhappy,
super angry, super frustrated.
And it's just because they listened to the bad people.
You can't listen to people
who have been told all their lives
that success was not for them.
You can't listen to people
who have heard all their lives
that the rich are bad people.
You can't listen to people
who have been told all their lives
that you have to be born in a family that is already successful
to be successful.
You shouldn't listen to these people.
They don't know what they're talking about.
And if you listen to them,
and you give importance to what they say
because you appreciate them
or because they are your friends or your cousins
or maybe even your parents, I don't know.
But if you listen to them
and then you stop working,
that's exactly what's going to tear your dreams apart.
That's what will cost you the victory.
That's what will prevent you from becoming what you're trying to become.
So you really have to understand, guys,
that this is part of the process.
When I started this journey, guys,
I was 19.
The first three years,
I made zero dollars.
Then one day, we sold something for $7.
The next day, nothing at all.
The third day, we sold for 23 fucking dollars.
Okay?
I heard everything.
I heard all the criticisms.
I heard all this bullshit.
And guess what?
All the people who told me something like that
have today exactly the same situation
that they already had at the time.
And if you want the same fate as these people,
perfect!
If you want to stay mediocre like all these people,
that's fine.
But don't come back to complain in 10 years.
Because to achieve this dream that you have,
it will require of you all your efforts,
all your energy.
You should be totally obsessed.
Because the reality that concerns us all in this life
is that this life is a huge competition.
Okay?
You can see it that way.
And other people can tell you that it's not a good way to see life.
But that's the reality.
That's how it happens.
And that's how you work,
that you try to build a business,
that you try to become an excellent athlete,
that you try to become an extraordinary musician.
No matter.
The best win and the losers complain.
That's just how it works.
Okay?
So don't listen to these people.
Don't give importance to their words
if they themselves have never done it.
Don't take what they say to heart.
And if you do,
take these bullshits they tell you
and start using them as fuel.
You keep all these bullshit aside.
So that every time someone tells you something negative,
tells you that you are not capable of it,
tells you that you won't do it,
you take all that
and you keep it in a corner of your head.
Then you spend the rest of your time
doing everything you can to succeed.
No matter how much it costs.
To one day gain the opportunity
to put these words in their throat.
This is the attitude you must have.
Because guys,
the reluctance will always be there.
For you young people,
you have the greatest opportunity to succeed.
And at a much faster pace than anyone before you.
Today, technology is there.
With the internet and social networks
that allow us to do,
I mean, what took me 12 fucking years at the time.
Today you can do it in 3 years.
I didn't have this opportunity, but you do.
Except that many of you will never do it.
Because you take the time to listen to these losers
who are determined to fail.
These people will spend the rest of their lives
pointing fingers,
disfiguring,
badmouthing
all these people
who do much more than they will ever do.
And they will sit there and pretend
that they are somehow morally superior
for this or that.
But let me ask you a question.
Can you really be morally superior
if you don't exploit the potential
you have as a human being?
Do you really think there is something moral or good
to let you drift
towards mediocrity,
towards loserville,
towards less than what you could be
because your friends, the losers,
tell you that you should be like them,
or tell you that you are too good for them now,
or because they blame you,
or because they encourage you to go out at night
while you should be fully dedicated to the realization of your dreams?
Because let me tell you something, guys.
There is no nobility
to be a fucking loser.
There's nothing cool about it.
There's nothing funny about it.
You really have to understand
that pursuing excellence
has never been as easy as it is today
because of the opportunity we have thanks to technology.
And to get where you want to go,
you're going to have to put your fucking fingers
in your fucking ears
and ignore the advice of these impostors
who know nothing about it.
Okay,
your friends you have right now,
as a young man or a young woman,
maybe out of the 30 friends you think you have,
in 10 years you will probably have only one.
And again, that's if you're lucky.
So don't take your life for granted.
Don't take their words to heart.
And if you take them to heart,
keep them in a corner of your head
and spend the rest of your time using it as fuel.
Because the reality is that you have an opportunity.
And this opportunity will only occur once.
And this opportunity is that
either you can move your fucking ass,
you can grow up,
you can set an example for everyone around you
so they know what it's like,
what it's like to win, okay?
You can decide to live an incredible life
and in fact it's going to be very, very hard.
Or,
you don't try.
You choose to stay like the others.
You can resign yourself to mediocrity.
You can choose to believe the bullshit your lazy teachers have told you.
And,
you're going to lose.
And that too is very, very hard.
The reality is that no matter the path you take,
you will always encounter difficulty.
Now I don't know about you,
but I would choose the path of difficulty
which will bring me a result,
rather than the path of ease.
Depression,
frustration,
anger,
bitterness,
dissatisfaction,
and that for the rest of my life.
And the thing you have to realize
is that the second option
is the option that the vast majority of people choose.
So of course they're going to hate you
when you start winning.
Because you will be the shining example on the hill
of what they could have been.
Of course they're going to hate you.
It's normal.
And if these people hate you,
it just means you're winning.
It's the society we live in.
So stop complaining about the number of people
telling you bullshit,
and start seeing it as a medal of honor
that you were awarded for doing something
when they were doing nothing.
