Hello everyone, there is a very delicious and famous dessert, it has its origin in France, which I think is suitable for the taste of many Vietnamese people, which is the Le Van wine.
In this dish, you may not use cloves and rosemary, but cinnamon is a must.
You can use old wine bottles that have not been drunk or choose cheap wines, no need to use expensive ones.
Peel the chestnuts and keep the seeds to decorate the dish.
You can also cut the seeds in half and remove the seeds, it's up to you.
For the orange part, you cut it into about 3 slices and remember to keep the whole peel, because I need the aroma from the oil.
So the ingredients are ready, just put everything in the pot, then make the wine and bring it to boil.
If you have a honey bottle, use it right away, if not, you can use red wine and add 40g of sugar.
I don't use sugar here because honey wine is already sweet.
After boiling for about 20 minutes, you remove the cinnamon from the skin, because boiling for a long time will cause the smell of steam.
And we just open the lid like that, about 40-45 minutes, the chestnuts will be soft, and the wine will also evaporate and reduce.
When the time is up, the chestnuts will turn red and soft.
At this time, the wine will also evaporate like syrup.
You can drink it with ice, it's also very fragrant, don't throw it away, it's a waste.
After the chestnuts have been peeled and cooled, you cut them into slices about 1.5cm thick, and don't cut them off.
When you cut it, you will see the chestnuts fall off and spread into a fan shape.
At this time, the chestnuts are very soft, so be careful not to crush the chestnuts.
Now you just need to put this whole thing on a plate.
You can eat it cold or with ice cream, it's a perfect combination.
Bon Appetit!
