People deluded, I'm back again. I hope you enjoyed part one of potentially strikers Arsenal could
look at, try to sign or just monitor in relation to their development people. I hope your notification
bells are on and things like that. Let's get back into it. First up, you've got Rocco Simic. Now
that name might sound familiar. His dad was a footballer. He's 20 years of age. I'm sure if
you've been watching youth gen youth leagues, been in, you know, in the know with live sick and
things like that, the young creation 20 year old is a striker that many people have their eyes on
people. Again, he's 20 years of age. He's nowhere near being the finished article just yet, but I
believe he's a cerebral assassin in front of goal. I like his decision making. I like the positions
he takes up. I like, you know, the use of both feet. I like his ability to work the channels.
I like the fact that he's a bit selfless. And again, if you're a creation, football creation
are blessed with talented, popular people. I believe at locomotive Zagreb, he was actually
the second youngest 16 year old to make us to make an appearance. And I think he's the youngest
goal scorer. He got his first champions league goal recently against Benfica. I like his first
touch. I like the fact that he's powerful. I like the fact that he uses his framework. Well,
his link up play and work rate are quite good. I like the fact that a lot of his shots are from
central areas, which sounds obvious, but it's not a given necessarily. He's cold, calm and
collected in front of goal. I really like him people. He's only got 84 appearances to his name
currently people. And he's certainly a player that I believe will have a good future. Currently
he's only got six goals in 28 games. Next up, you've got Cisco who is another 20 year old
people. And again, apparently he was destined to move to Manchester United. Again, he's someone
that's compared a lot to Harlem. Of course, he's got a long way to go to be mentioned in the same
realm as Harlem. I think Harlem is an anomaly of a young player in that whatever lab they made him
in he's incredible. And it's unfortunate when you're a tool striker, when you're playing at
former clubs that Harlem has played for, when you're quite quick for a big man like Harlan,
you're not going to get away with things. I still think there's numerous raw elements in
Cisco's play, but I think he's a fantastic player and one that will have a great future
really and truly. And he, you know, as you know, he's breaking stats left, right, and center.
I still think he needs to get more touches over 90 minutes and get more involved in the game.
I love his runs from out to in again, it sounds silly, but the best footballers are the best
thinkers. As you can see in the graphic ahead of me, people, as I'm speaking, you know,
he makes good runs off the ball. It sounds silly, but a lot of footballers are not,
young footballers better yet are not proactive. And when you look at, you know, his time at
Salzburg so far, there's a lot to like about him, really raw aspects, as you could see on screen.
Again, he's got a fantastic technical level. He plays with his head up. He has an appreciation
to try and find his teammates. He knows when to take a shot, how to take a shot and what surface
area to take a shot with. He backs himself in tight situations. Of course, there's raw elements.
Sometimes he plays with his head down a bit too much. Sometimes I think he tries to do too much,
but I think he's a fantastic player. And as I said, he's quick. He's six foot four.
You know, he's a dangerous site when starting his runs from out to in. He's obviously an aerial
threat, someone that could give high and probably more goals to another team or a team like Arsenal.
Another dimension in that regards people. He uses both feet. In my opinion,
he's got a very high technical level. I think he's a man that has a lot of calmness in front
of goal. And another player who, in my opinion, simply put, is born to score goals. He has that
knack. He has that calmness. He's a cerebral assassin in front of goal. And as you can see
with the images, he's very good in front of goal, really and truly. He makes his mind up before he's
done it. And I love the fact that he can pick bottom corners. You know, when the shot's on his
left, he'll take it on his left. If it's on his right, he'll take it on his right. If a teammate's
a better position, he'll somewhat try to find his teammate or back himself. There's a calmness
and calculatedness in front of goal that really draws me to him. Again, he's 20 years of age.
You need to let the man develop. As much as I like him, there's numerous raw elements in his
game that he needs to churn out. But so far, so good. I think he's got a solid foundation that
could bring something to Arsenal. Apparently, he's yet to complete 90 minutes this season,
people, which I'm not too sure why in the league. Again, people, he's got 55 appearances in the
Australian Bundesliga people with 21 goals to match. So he's still raw. There's still a lot
of question marks. And again, you've got to show that you can do it year in, year out. But I think
he's a player that will cost a lot of money and someone that will get a big move sooner rather
than later. And at 20 years of age, the world is his oyster, in my opinion, really and truly.
Again, he's in the right areas half of the time, which again sounds silly, but you need to buy
a lottery ticket if you are to win the lottery, people. A lot of being a striker or being a top
footballer, the best footballers are the best thinkers. And I think he's on the right path to
doing that, really. He knows how to lose his mark. Another controversial one, but just based on the
fact that Arsenal were once upon a time linked with Dusan Vlahovic, who seems set to join Chelsea
at some point last summer. Could it be worth going back in for him? I don't think we'll move for any
striker, much less Vlahovic in the summer. There is new rumours around giving him a contract,
but Juventus have to tread carefully financially. Maybe he's a player that's up for sale and I'm
Initially, he struggled at Juventus, but it looks like he's getting back to his best people. He's
had a temporary injury, but he got four goals in his opening six games for Juventus, people.
He's still only 23 years of age. Mikel Arteta did aggressively, along with Arsenal, try to get him
a couple of years ago in January. Arsenal have been tracking him since his days in his homeland
at Partizan, which is a fantastic academy, and it's hard not to like him. He's cool, calm,
collected, got a wonderful left foot, can hit three kits, got a decent work rate, love his
temperament and again, you know, very good on the transition. And I'm sure there's many reasons as
to why Mikel Arteta liked him or the coaching staff at Arsenal liked him, really. I think
Juventus would be silly to let him go unless something ridiculous is offered, which I can't
see Arsenal offering the ridiculous money for the Vlahovic's, the Ossermans, the Ivan Toni,
based on 80 odd million shouts now, etc, etc. But based on the fact we was once linked with him,
could it be worth going for him again? I must admit, completely off topic here.
I do wonder how or what Arsenal would look like had we have got Vlahovic, would we have got
Gabriel Jesus or not? And actually, Mudrik really and truly, how would Arsenal have looked had they
have got those targets? And as you can see, Arsenal, it's not that we're scared to spend
money. Arteta was convinced for whatever reason in Kai Havertz, we spent a lot of money on Thomas
Partey, on Declan Rice, and I'm sure there's plenty of other players that I haven't mentioned
there. As I said, similar to Mudrik, with Mudrik, sorry, with Vlahovic, we ultimately didn't get
these players. But again, you know, the amount of money we committed to trying to sign the
Ukrainian and Mudrik and obviously the Serbian staying on task with the topic of strikers in
Vlahovic has to show you there was a lot of conviction in Mikel Arteta's decision to bid
for him. And also, you know, Edu and the technical staff who were in charge of ultimately getting
players to the football club. So there has to have been some willingness. Now I get it, you know,
it felt like his agents took us around the houses. If Arsenal want to stay clear of that,
then they have my blessing. But if we are assessing strikers, there has to be Vlahovic
on a shortlist, in my opinion, based on that very fact, as I just said about our willingness
to want to obtain the player people. So only in truth, only God knows. So I'm sure there's
many different calculations currently being done and things like that within Arsenal in-house as
to when we'll sign a striker, what is the best moment to sign a striker, what actual type of
striker we're looking to move for people. I'm happy I'm not the decision makers, but you could
imagine there's several calculations going on in London, Coley offices, and you could imagine
people every week, Arsenal are linked with a new striker or a new player better yet, much like all
other clubs and the news agents and outlets are not going to stop us being linked with players.
They're not going to stop linking us with players better yet anytime soon. The dream is free,
the hustle is sold separately, really. God knows who and when and who and where Arsenal will
actually sign a striker from. Elsewhere, people, Mateo Serruzzo can play on the left wing as well
as up front. He's someone that I just thought, let me just give him his flowers. I like him a lot.
Still very much raw. He's one that I would suggest Arsenal and other big clubs monitor.
He did sign for Granada and he has struggled and he's gone back on loan to his homeland.
But again, he's only 20 years of age. He's got three caps from Uruguay. He has been labelled
the new Luis Suarez, even though I don't necessarily buy it. He is a typical South
American player in that he's tenacious. He's got a good level. You know, he did initially
struggle making the move to Europe on the first time around, but at the end of the day, you know,
he only got 18 appearances and got one goal. At Montevideo, I can't pronounce their name,
he got 37 goals and 14 assists in 91 appearances and has 18 goals and two assists in 28 for Penereno.
So he's someone I'm looking at a lot currently actually has four goals in four games in the
league. So he's just someone that I just monitor for my own sake, really. I know many Arsenal fans
won't want to hear this, and I'm by no means advocating to sign Dominic Calvert-Lewin,
especially because he's been injured and he's almost a forgotten man in the wider Premier
League realm. But just based on the fact of like Ollie Watkins, he was previously linked with us,
I thought it could be something. You could argue he could be available at a discount.
If Barteta could get a tune out of him, then who knows? Again, I don't want Dominic Calvert-Lewin,
but based on the fact that we have previously been linked with him, passed a show or display
that there is some level of admiration inside the offices at Arsenal's training ground in
London Coley for Dominic Calvert-Lewin's talents. The man can't stay fit, so I'm not really on it,
if I'm completely honest with you. My dream would be Julian Alvarez in the same vein that
saw us sign Gabriel Jesus. Obviously, there's been a lot of players who have departed Manchester City
and Julian Alvarez has found himself as a regular. But if Edu is able to sweet-talk him,
if Barteta is able to lotion him on the phone like Zinchenko and Gabriel Jesus,
bring my man to the carpet, I think he's a cerebral assassin as well.
We have previously been linked with Jonathan David as well. He's been linked with Spurs in the last
week, has kind of gone off the boil, isn't really flavour of the month in Ligue 1, isn't really
setting the scene on fire. Obviously, him and his agent have linked him with a move away from
Leo for a while and they've done numerous interviews and stuff like that. But so far,
the move hasn't been forthcoming. Has Leo priced him out of a potential move? I don't know people,
but he's another one that was linked with Arsenal Football Club. Isaac could be a dream,
innit? It would be lovely to reunite Isaac and Odegaard back in north London from their
dad days. But Newcastle would be extremely silly to sell Isaac, especially with what they're
building over there. He would cost a lot of money, probably need 80 to 100 million to begin
some sort of dialogue with Newcastle. As I said, they'd be crazy to let him go. But the dream is
free. The hustle is sold separately. We have been linked with Latorre Martinez in previous years,
and again, he looks like he's going to sign a new deal at Inter Milan. His best days were
probably with Lukaku in a two-man strikeforce, but he's taken over the mantelpiece. He helped
lead his team to a Champions League final, and he's been in blisteringly good form, and he's
somewhat found his goalscoring touch. I'm a big fan of Latorre. Again, I don't think we'll get him
unless certain things are put into place. But again, he's another player that has been linked
with Arsenal in the same way Osserman, Ollie Watkins, Ivan Toni and Dominic Calvert-Lewin
have. So I thought, let me include him, people. So there's a lot for Mikel Arteta to consider,
really. When do we sign a striker? How do we sign a striker? Do we actually need a striker?
Is the January period the best or worst time to sign a striker? Do we need a winger more? Do we
need a central midfielder more? Do we need a centre-back more? How feasible is it to get a
striker in January, really and truly? Only God knows, and I'm sure Arteta has thought about it.
At the moment, you've got Havertz and Keita and Jesus, who all have different strengths. None of
them could be described as prolific target men. So yeah, one thing's assured, people. Again,
especially across the two videos we've done, the lesser-known entities with every game that they
perform, with every goal they scored, their stocks are going up in the footballing world and
they're moving that much closer to quote-unquote one day being labelled or known as household names.
So it begs the question, when do you move for players? Because as you know, money talks.
Money's going to need to talk in January, not money's going to need to talk in the summer,
especially for the prem clubs. People know you've got cash, really and truly.
So again, I hope across these two videos, smash the like button, like, comment and subscribe.
I've provided some thought-provoking content. I hope the creative juices are flowing with you lot.
I hope you're assessing, you know, which striker would you want? Do Arsenal need more of a target
man? Do we need a poacher? Do we need a bit of both? You could argue, you know, in the present
day and age, you know, unless you're Haaland, whose general play has improved, I don't think
you can afford to, as silly as it sounds, just be a goal scorer, especially when you look in
the Mikel Arteta system. Goals are almost the least important of a striker because while our
strikers chip in, Eddie on occasion has done such, Jesus has got 11 goals, but I wouldn't describe
the strength of his as goal scoring, he's more praised for other things, provided other players
kind of chip in. You know, could you argue for a Mikel Arteta system? You need to, you know,
press better, link up play, be almost selfless, take up certain areas and positions on the pitch
that that teammates can exploit, which could obviously be at your goal scoring detriment,
but the Saka's, the Martinelli's, the Trossart's, the Odegaard's, you know, and all of those players
could benefit from it, really. I personally think we need another striker. I think, you know, we've
got 80-odd goals last year. If everyone does what they need to do, we get another striker, we get
100-odd goals. We're laughing, really. But yeah, that's all from me, folks. Let me know your thoughts.
Don't forget to like, comment and subscribe. Let me know your thoughts. One love.
