Oh, I'm so afraid on your camera.
We are on our way to...
Just like this.
Good to see you.
And then we can start our girls' trip.
Tomorrow is the National Reunification Day, which is also a big holiday.
The day after tomorrow is the International Labour Day.
Everyone has the day off.
We have finally arrived.
We are sweating.
Not only we are still tired from the trip, but sweating thankfully.
And I think this is probably the first recommendation I would give you guys if you come here.
It's that you book a driver in advance.
It will help you a lot when it comes to leaving the airport and going to your destination.
This is the sign now.
The parade.
I don't know anything.
I was afraid here, right?
I thought you were local.
Where are we exactly?
We are at the Independence Palace.
Where the new Vietnam was created.
After that, they changed the name from Saigon to Ho Chi Minh City.
We are having a walk.
And then we are going to Notre Dame.
The post office.
And also the walking street.
That sounds like a good plan for day 1.
But first thing first.
The ladies and I need coffee and tea.
So we are going to try out a coffee place that Chrissy wanted to try.
Let's go.
I'm still looking for my...
I feel like it's like a matcha milkshake.
But more like vanilla.
Okay, it's a vanilla milkshake sprinkled with matcha.
I wasn't impressed by this place.
But it's okay.
It's time to continue our visit.
And we found out that not only Notre Dame was closed for visiting today.
But also we came too late for the post office.
So in the end, after walking around and noticing all the street food.
We decided to go to the book street.
And in here, we found tons of books, posters.
A lot of cute cafes.
But also a lot of old books that you could buy.
I absolutely love that book street.
And I'll definitely come back.
Chocolate cat.
It says chocolate cat.
It's so cute.
Sure.
I think I'm going to get one of these.
Eventually.
Really?
Apparently.
He was a famous musician and a book writer.
Now we're in the area where it's so modern.
And so fancy.
It's a complete change of scenery.
That's for sure.
It looks like almost just right at the street.
You can expect either the sea or the river.
It's very South European vibe.
It's kind of interesting.
Right now, this feels like Nice.
When you go to Nice.
Can you imagine?
People live here.
Look at people living in part higher.
Yeah.
So right now we're at one of Christie's favorite places.
And they specialize in symbols.
It's actually very interesting how from one block to another,
you encounter a different architecture.
And luckily, we actually ran into this cultural festival
that is happening today and tomorrow.
And we saw a lot of people wearing traditional cultural clothing.
Great games.
We interviewed to explain the different cultural aspects of Vietnam.
I think that was the best time to come here.
This, you eat with fish sauce.
So this is fish sauce.
And then you add spices if you want.
Okay.
Christie, tonight.
So basically, you eat it like a crisp.
For our first night out, we decided to stay around Christie's neighborhood,
which is a Japanese neighborhood.
And they had plenty of bars and restaurants.
So we decided to take a stroll and find a nice place where we can have a drink.
Just like this.
Okay, okay.
And there is like a long street.
There was a Japanese restaurant that works 24 hours.
And there is a street food.
We're driving now.
A little welcome drink.
Thank you.
They're basically all the same.
Except for beef or chicken.
This one, the soup.
There's one chicken noodle and everything else is beef.
And these are just single parts of the beef.
And then that's a combo.
So I think it's better just to take the combo,
unless there's something that we don't need to.
We are at Fu Hua Pasta.
It is a place that has a lot of chicken.
They were updated on COVID-19.
It's warm and juicy.
And we all took coconut as well.
It's just like mind-blowingly good.
She looks so cute.
Is there coffee?
We are at...
I don't know where we are.
We are at Miu Miu.
This place was actually recommended by one of my friends.
Tyler, if you come across Miu Miu,
thank you so much for the recommendation.
It's really nice.
It's a combination of cafe, restaurant, but also shop.
They sell a lot of items that are made in Vietnam.
We ordered the afternoon combo
with one coffee and one dessert.
And also the coffee bean.
No, maybe not for you.
Yeah, maybe not for me.
Let's give it a try.
It's not... Okay, it's mild,
but I still don't like the taste.
Okay, I'm gonna try my drink.
So good.
What is this?
Kamucha.
It's coconut celery kamucha.
Refreshing.
The fragrance of the coconut and the celery
really comes out.
And it is amazing.
Tomato juice and vodka.
Two days ago, we were at a juice store.
We saw celery, and it was like,
mmm, Bloody Mary.
What a good list.
Shall we?
Very nice.
Please try it.
Very, very nice.
It's nice.
The caramel.
The caramel is really nice.
Really, really good so far.
I guess we could recommend this place.
Yeah, I guess.
I'm eating horribly.
No, but she did the snake.
It's nice.
This is what a kindergarten is like.
Ninja snake.
It's painful.
Actually, it's painful.
Hi, MTV.
We're now at Family Mart.
It's one of the biggest Family Mart we have seen.
A lot of stuff.
You can grocery shop inside.
Vegetables, frozen food, udon,
sashimi even, I think.
Let's check it out.
Yeah, let's go.
This looks like a legit supermarket.
You miss this, don't you?
Oh, yeah.
I miss it so much.
If only we had a bathtub.
Oh my god, it's a real Japanese convenience store.
Very expensive, but you can do what you need.
Oh my gosh.
That's what I miss in China.
There are a lot of classics here for that money.
Sorry?
From this angle, Kristi, it's like you're actually unique.
I forgot she's filming.
So I was like...
To the beginning of our little staycation together.
Cheers, girls.
It was so nice to be able to enjoy a drink
with this wonderful view in this hotel
and enjoy this wonderful first night of staycation just together.
But a staycation wouldn't be a staycation
with a cup of instant noodle
and girls enjoying a show together.
And here we're watching Indian matchmaking.
Kristi introduced us to this show when we were at her place
and we've decided to keep on watching it together.
The girls were still sleeping.
I didn't want to wake them up.
The breakfast looks amazing.
There are a lot of beautiful and nice options.
I can show you guys.
So I tried to take a little bit of everything.
I'm also wearing my new t-shirt.
I just love it.
It's so nice.
After the girls woke up and also got their breakfast,
we decided to head back to a location we were trying to go yesterday
which is the Central Post Office.
We are at…
Central Post Office!
I'm not going to lie.
I don't know anything of the fact about the Central Post Office
but voice of Sabrina will tell you everything about it.
That's right.
Saigon Central Post Office
is actually one of the oldest buildings in Ho Chi Minh City.
This building was built around 1886 and 1891
and it is famous for these beautiful French architectures.
This Central Post Office lies in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City
right next to Notre Dame
but it is absolutely a must-visit location
and something that you probably didn't know
is that it is still possible to send letters through the post office.
We saw a lot of people not only writing letters and sending them
but it's also a great spot to find touristy items and souvenirs
for your trip to Vietnam.
Earlier when we were at the post office
we went back to the Book Street
because I really wanted to get an old map of Saigon
and I came up with the crazy idea of marking it
with Christie's old location.
It's an old map so I mean…
I should…
Okay, I'm going to put a circle here
because I want to make this map a little bit more significant
of this trip with the girls.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, like this.
Yes, yes, yes, yes.
I actually forgot to tell you guys where we are.
We are at Cashew Cafe
which is located in another district
and this is a vegan cafe restaurant.
It's so peaceful
and I'm glad that we all brought something to distract ourselves
so that we can stay here a little bit longer.
It's quite warm right now outside
so it's great to be in a nice location.
It has to be.
And as you can see, it's giving time for Christie
to express herself artistically.
It's so cute.
It actually looks like this one's the sign.
Yes.
No, it does.
It does.
You have to be like Bobby in the movie.
Oh, oh my god.
He's in the grass.
No, no, no.
He's in the grass.
Yes.
I've saved so many cafes
but I think if this was the one,
I think we will all potentially like it a lot.
It's good.
Anyone?
Enjoy.
Oh, I can have another one.
How many now?
Three.
Listen.
Put them back in the fridge.
I put the three beers in the fridge.
Yay!
So we've been feeling very relaxed today.
Too relaxed.
Maybe too relaxed.
But as you can see,
we've decided to order some food
and eat it at the hotel.
And to be honest, I think it doesn't matter.
Oh, that's the shaken beer.
It doesn't matter whether we eat out or not.
I mean, don't get me wrong.
I'm pretty sure there's other things to do and see
in Ho Chi Minh.
But I think for me and for Marina,
the purpose of this travel is mostly to hang out with Christy
and to just be the three of us.
So in the end, it's not about the places.
It's really about the people.
And I feel like visiting the city
is kind of like an option,
like a nice bonus on the top of it.
And we've been wanting to start a new show
because we already finished watching Indian matchmaking.
Surprise!
Surprise, surprise.
Now we are going to start watching
the first episode of Drop of God.
So we've got green fried chicken.
We've got salads.
And we've got pizza.
So it's time to dig in.
We have...
This is the...
And we have salad.
This looks so yummy.
Very, very, very local, as you can see.
Yes, local chicken, local flour,
local brand, local cheese,
local idea of ordering it.
Cheers.
What?
I don't know.
I'm fine with it.
That's what I think.
You think I wouldn't like to buy that?
Yes, yes.
Bye-bye, Christy.
Bye-bye, bye-bye.
Hello, baby.
Hi, baby.
Hi.
Marina, what did you think of this beautiful walk?
Walk?
Your walk for the day.
Walk.
I was checking the walk.
You said walk.
I was like...
