Shopping In Vietnam 🇻🇳 where to shop and eat

Today's gonna be an awesome day. We are doing a little bit of work and play. We're going shopping And working whilst we're at it. I've got a couple of places I want to hit up today for my Vietnam beauty and fashion guide and Also to do some shopping because I've got a trip coming up to Milan. I Can't spill too much about that trip, but that is coming up. So your girl needs some outfits It's so chaotic in the morning in this household. I need to get Lila ready we're gonna drop off at school and then Alf's going to Ride me on his bike to the market because that's the first stop. Excuse the messy room This is today's fit. Mm-hmm. Just something very Comfy wait, I need a jacket. I need a jacket. It's gonna be sunny Does this go? Oh, I'm kind of like work mode perfect work and play Get the kids ready Mommy's gonna go film today My bangs, I didn't really think this through guys The drop-off is done now time for a quick coffee with our friend Cafe, so now if you guys haven't tried Vietnamese coffee, you are missing out because this stuff is so good But it is strong. So be warned take small sips Then we're heading to Tandon market to check out a traditional wooden shoe store This place has been popping off all over tik-tok. So I really wanted to check it out So I just reached the market and it's literally at gate 8 and you just walk in and it's right here They have so many options It's just like a little store and like two aunties selling it Apparently this was the inner pair of wedges wooden wedges that every mom and auntie and grandma brought 20 years ago Look how cute and retro these are Oh They have so many designs here and you can customize your own pair You just choose the heel style the heel height and you pick your straps. The prices are really affordable, too They start from as little as $10 Depending on what you pick and the auntie's there can make it for you on the spot. These are like littler ones So cute. I think I have to choose a little one Yeah, this one's lower it sounds like easier to it to walk in Go back a lot. Yeah, I'm fine. I'm like a team. I don't know Like you're not hot like you know, maybe Yeah Well, it's a lot of them you tell size I was asking her, does she look at my feet to know like how wide it is? So she actually looks at your feet, how wide it is and she makes it to your feet, she didn't even actually take out a ruler or anything, it's just like eyeball, this is 37 years of experience. Wow. So I've left in my two shoes and I went with the handcrafted, which these a little bit more expansive. And then I got a black pair. These are a little bit cheaper, but yeah, these are so cute. I am with my friend Tcić, we're in the car cause it is raining so hard suddenly. So we don't want to get caught in the rain no bike for us today. Those aunties at the shoe store, they were so cute. No, it was like an auntie and a niece and they just sit there and nail shoes and sell heels for 37 years, that's crazy Like they were so like down-to-earth and I love that they their price is set So it's the same for locals and foreigners there's no haggling and people just appreciate that and I think that's really rare when you find stores at a market because they're known for really like Overcharging foreigners, but this place I respect them and plus they do like such cute heels You guys have to come and check them out. We're heading to the next store. So this is a Fashion store. I've been wanting to check this one out because I have interesting like dresses and the way they drape their styles like their designs It's pretty unique. So let's head there now It's busy. It's busy here. Okay, the next stop is in like this apartment building Questionable place it's got a vibe here. It's got a vibe It feels like an apartment block but look like there's actual like trendy stores all along this level So if you guys want to hit up some fashion stores to check this place out Where's the store? We're going to T Okay, we we turned the wrong way Okay, we found the store this is the brand Fig & Tonka that's the one with the interesting drape But actually this store has other brands as well. So good time to check other pieces out Hello This is so my jam the color the cut the material Let's see if it looks good on. Okay. This is what it looks like on I feel like I really have something like this because I got a yellow piece tailored, but I like this color Option very comfortable feels like pajamas My friend T just said that I look like a k-pop idol like this is definitely a k-pop idol vibes Is it giving pregnancy vibes? Like if I just pose like this, it's like yep the child right there I'm a little bit embarrassed to show you this one. This is a lot of Volume and lace happening. Look at that plunge neckline Interesting design. I think this skirt is a little bit like big for me The top it just reminds me of like No, no, no from the side There's even a lot of volume like I feel like that that frilly thing that judges wear at the front Yeah, it's like this was inspired by that. This might be it guys. Do I look like I'm getting married? I mean, it's kind of like a tinge of yellow there if you can tell it's not it's not wedding white It comes with this like little scarf thing on the side I think I'm gonna go with this black dress guys and guess what? I'm an extra small of this So the size range here, you need to come to try some of them. I'm a medium this one I'm an extra small very comfortable It's got this like lace detailing in the midsection and then another layer here that you tie around so it's holds neck Time to grab some lunch We're at this very trendy spot opened by a famous couple. It's like a vegetarian Noodle restaurant, there's a bit of a line. So we know it's gonna be good, right? The Sun is backing to a I wear brand that's popping off It's a broken their Sonny's like everyday Sonny's and apparently can customize the Sonny's their quick lippy touch up This one's from Tarte. It's like a lip plumper That's the store. We're going to This is Limla and all I can say is it's probably one of the coolest stores I've been to like I feel like I stepped into another world and the sales assistant. He had some serious swag Well, I feel like a celebrity or something in here like wow they Instantly I just feel like Welcomed with a welcome drink this place is a vibe and actually didn't realize how much stuff you can customize for your own glasses They have so many different options for Customization like it kind of overwhelmed me if you can't decide you can also just buy one that's already made The price range here is about ten to eighty dollars So I ended up getting this pair I'm wearing them now and That was a vibe I felt like I went to some like R&B hip-hop at club But they had very wearable designs as well. Not all like super trendy some classic. I've got one more store I want to hit up and check out for my Vietnam beauty and fashion guide this street I'm currently walking on is like known for fashion couldn't wait. Yeah, and they have like loads of Vietnamese brands Actually the brand that I want to go to is in this building the way that they transport the clothes down Here she is I'm so glad I came to the store. I think this is the best thing. I've tried on all day like this on The hanger it's questionable in the pink but the brown on me It's right up my alley except that it's kind of longer. Your girl's a bit of a Shorty, but guys look it's romantic. It's actually pretty comfortable. I just need to address the length I love the halter neck and the frills Yeah like I didn't think I would like this one this much because it has a little bit of like it, you know a little bit of a two-piece skin moment happening, but actually it looks really nice on and the layered to your skirt It's a vibe. I wasn't sure about this one when I saw it on the rack But you let me know you let me know what you think. It's given like Retro vibes because I know the style was in like years ago. I'm talking maybe decades ago I kind of like like that. They've incorporated the polka dot Print on and then kind of made this halter neck style with again lots of like ruffles lots of texture Honestly, lots of interesting designs here. Oh I found another outfit combo that I like. This is different red and black Sabrina the Teenage Witch kind of vibes but a little bit more elegant. What do we think?
