Chinese yellow-spotted fish, also known as yellow-spotted fish, is the result of breeding by artificial reproduction method between the two species of fish, yellow-spotted fish and yellow-spotted fish.
Chinese yellow-spotted fish has a similar appearance to yellow-spotted fish, with a long neck, a flat head, a spiky body, a flat tail, a body of gray or brown-yellow color, a light yellow belly.
On the body, there are a lot of fine flowers and a lot of small white spots.
Chinese yellow-spotted fish is very large.
In conditions with adequate humidity, full feeding, after 3-4 months, the fish will feed on an average of 150-200 grams per fish.
The fish live in a slightly polluted environment and in a slightly polluted water condition, with a salinity of less than 5%.
Fish grow well in an environment with a pH concentration of about 5.5-8%.
Because fish have respiratory organs, Chinese yellow-spotted fish can live in ponds, reservoirs, and even in low-oxygen environments, from 1-2mg per liter.
Chinese yellow-spotted fish swim, eat heavily in the evening or at night, when the sky is cloudy.
Therefore, fishing for fish, sea bass and fish, if done in the above time, will be highly effective.
The breeding season usually lasts from March to October every year.
Hello everyone!
Welcome back to the program Farming with Experts, conducted by the Institute of Applied Sciences.
In the previous episode, you and I met Mr. Nhat, the first person to bring Chinese yellow-spotted fish to Vietnam, as well as learn about the process of raising fish in his farm.
And today, you and I meet again to learn about the process of raising Chinese yellow-spotted fish, as well as how to raise a fish when it is still young, and when it can be produced into products.
I am very happy to meet you again.
Can you share with me, as well as the audience, what do we need to prepare when we raise Chinese yellow-spotted fish?
As Mr. Nhat said, when we raise Chinese yellow-spotted fish, we have a lot of preparations.
For example, we prepare a fishing net.
The fishing net is used to fish in the wide and wide pond, to prepare the bait, to catch a lot of fish, to clean the pond, to kill the fish.
The most important thing is to kill all the fish in the pond, to raise alone, or to catch to treat the diseases in the pond.
As Mr. Nhat said, we have to go to the pond first.
Yes, we have to go to the pond first.
The most important thing is to prepare the bait.
After we prepare the bait, we will add water.
After adding water, we will treat the water source.
We will clean or treat the disease first.
After 2 days, we will release the fish.
When we release the fish, we will release them at 8am to 10am, or 4pm to 6pm.
These are the 2 stages of releasing fish.
It will be better because the water source will be stable.
Mr. Nhat shared more about the issue of fishing nets.
The fishing net has an average area of 1,000 to 3,000 square meters.
It is convenient for feeding, taking care of and harvesting.
If it is an old pond, we need to dig the bottom of the pond, lay a steamer,
emit a lot of dust, dry the bottom of the pond for 2 to 3 days,
cut the bait from 30 to 50 kg per 1,000 square meters to kill the fish,
and adjust the pH of the water.
There is a cage with a capacity of 100 to 150 kg per 1,000 square meters.
Take the water through the drain into the pond to prevent the fish from biting.
After 5 to 7 days, we can release the fish into the pond.
The initial water level is about 1 meter.
It will gradually increase after 1 month of cultivation until it reaches a depth of 1.2 to 1.5 meters.
If it is a new pond, we need to cover it with a capacity of 70 to 100 kg per 1,000 square meters
to keep the pH of the water from 6 to 7.5 is the best.
As you have just shared, the first thing we need to do is to measure the time appropriately.
Can you share with me as well as the people,
what is the appropriate fish size that we can release?
I have done a lot of research,
and I know that releasing fish from 500 to 1,000 kg per 1,000 square meters is the most suitable.
If the fish grows well and can eat freely in the pond, we can release it.
What about the depth?
If the water level in the pond is 1.2 to 1.5 meters,
we can release 30 to 50 fish per 1.5 meters.
30 to 50 fish per 1.5 meters?
I have done a lot of research.
If the depth is too deep, the fish will grow slowly and will not be able to eat.
If the depth is too deep, it will waste the environment.
After releasing the fish, what are the next steps?
After releasing the fish, we can regularly clean the environment,
clean the room first.
During the breeding process, we will observe the fish every morning,
from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m. and go to each room to check.
If there is any discovery,
or if there is a fish nearby that is sick,
we will catch it and release it.
This is the first step.
If there are too many sick fish,
we should release them as soon as possible.
We should release them as soon as possible,
every week, 20 times a day, in the morning,
to detect the disease in time.
So the disease prevention step is still the most important step, right?
That's right.
Can you tell us about the medicines?
How do we make medicines to prevent fish diseases?
If we want to treat the disease,
we should use a 20-liter bottle of paint.
We will pour the medicine into the paint bottle.
Then we will mix it well and spread it around.
People should mainly spread it all over the island,
not on the mainland.
For example, if we spread it at a certain point,
the fish there will have too much medicine.
There will be two fish.
Other places will have no fish,
but no medicine.
So we will spread it all over the island.
The more we spread it all over the island, the better.
So we shouldn't just focus on one place,
we should spread it all over the island.
When we spread the medicine,
we should spread it all over the island.
Or we should spread it all over the island by boat.
Raising fish and taking care of fish
is very important.
The fish in Vang Lai are very good at eating,
they have the ability to eat like fish.
Fish farming usually uses
waste products from frozen factories,
such as shrimp shells, squid skin,
fish intestines,
