Refraction and Diffraction (The Bending Of Light)

Diffraction is the bending of light as it passes around the edge of an object or through a slit.
Refraction is the bending of a wave when it enters a medium where its speed is different.
When a wave passes through a slit it spreads out in waves as it passes through the slit.
