Beautiful South Carolina beach city,
the beach city of Huntington,
finally welcomed the largest independence day parade in the United States and the West.
Behind me,
the majestic horse-riding team, the military band,
walked by once,
thousands of people on both sides cheered,
celebrating the value of freedom and democracy in the United States together.
I'm so grateful for our freedom of speech.
I think that is what a strong democracy is built upon,
and I'm so grateful that we have that,
and I hope it's always a part of our country,
and something that's always defended and fought for.
A sense of community and togetherness,
and people helping other people.
That's what I like about America.
It's just like love,
how we can come together on this holiday
and love one another,
and celebrate with each other.
On the 247th birthday of the United States,
Americans from all over the world
feel extremely proud and honored.
And I just feel really happy to live here
and to be from here,
and I just feel really lucky to be an American.
And I'm incredibly proud,
not only to be American,
but to see how the country has pulled together
through some very difficult times.
Happy 4th of July!
The team that walked towards us
is a team of Falun Gong practitioners.
The wind-blown flower carriage,
the bustling drums,
the Falun Gong practitioners holding the national flag,
the colorful meaning,
and the beautiful scenery in the parade.
I have seen it every year.
That float always makes me feel happy.
The yellow, the colors,
and all the people that are involved.
It's like they bring a lot of sunshine to the parade.
Falun Gong practitioners interact with the public along the way,
hoping to bring the universal value of truth, kindness, and tolerance to everyone.
Falun Dafa represents truthfulness, compassion, and tolerance.
And we know that this is just such a powerful message,
not only for America, but for the world.
This will help to unite our country again
and strengthen our country overall.
Those values are also related to personal liberty.
Everyone should be able to practice their own belief.
If everyone can practice according to those three principles,
everyone would be in harmony,
and no one would be needing to fight.
