Beekeeping is not difficult, but it requires the beekeeper to be meticulous, to understand the characteristics of the bee, such as movement, building, and separation, in order to maintain effective development and reproduction, and to support the farmers with knowledge during the beekeeping process. The Hà Tĩnh Farmers Association, together with beekeepers experts in Vu Quang County, organized a honey-raising training for the beekeepers of Cam My Commune, Cam Xuyên County. The training was used in practice to develop the honey of the families, contributing to the creation of valuable products that are competitive in the market. The 500 beekeepers support project for the farmers of Cam My Commune is part of the action coordination program between the Science and Technology Department and the Hà Tĩnh Farmers Association to support the families of beekeepers in the development of beekeeping. As a result of the implementation, the Science and Technology Council has approved and approved the implementation of the project in the direction of model expansion. In the first step, the project supports 70% of the total investment in model construction and beekeeping. 50 families of beekeepers are supported by 10 beekeepers, equivalent to 10 beekeepers and 25 boxes of honey. After the proposal of the Farmers Association to support the implementation of the model of model expansion, after a thorough examination, we found that Cam My Commune is one of the communes that is very good at beekeeping. Therefore, the Science and Technology Department has provided financial support to develop this model in Cam My Commune. It took 12 months to develop it, but the project was completed in 4 months. Up to this point, after a thorough examination, as well as the opinion of the people, we can say that this model is quite successful. The effect of beekeeping has been confirmed for the communes. In order to expand and develop beekeeping in non-traditional places such as Cam My, Cam Xuyen Commune, or the surrounding areas, technical support as well as initial funding is very necessary.
