Glory be to our God. We are here today in the presence of the Lord to start a week full of the favor of the grace and glory of the Lord. Yes, we continue to proclaim His power, His blessing, the peace, the freedom that Christ Jesus gave us, our King. The apostles said, because we cannot stop saying what we have seen and heard. What have we seen? That a wonderful Savior came to the world and gave life for us, resurrected the dead and gave us victory. Hallelujah. He gave us victory. He gave us freedom on that cross, praised be our God. If He gave us victory, we have to walk in that faith of the Son of God. We have to look at the blessed Savior, whom He gave Himself definitively because He loves us, because He is with us, because He has said that He will neither leave us nor forsake us. Look at the word, we have to see ourselves new, we have to see ourselves triumphant, we have to see ourselves renewed, we have to see ourselves full of the glory of God, we have to see ourselves as blessed, as healthy, as prosperous, as enriched. The word says in Ephesians 5, 8, because in another time you were darkness, but now that you are in Christ, you are light in the Lord. We have to see ourselves as light, no longer as darkness, no longer as darkness, no longer as lost, no longer as strangers, but as children, as heirs, as more than winners. So, prepare your heart to go to a time of prayer, of faith, of words, of miracles, because our Almighty Lord is great. Glory to the Lord. Sometimes people confuse the Christian with a religious person, but let's try not to be religious. Let's try not to establish a religion, even though history tells us that the gospel is not religion. But with time and the passage of the centuries, the living belief in the gospel ended up being a religion, a dead religion, a religion of human effort, a religion of burdens, a religion where people have to earn everything, reach, buy. Well, religion becomes a burden, an imposition for people. But the truth is that Christianity, Christian life, is not religion. It is transformation. And this is like my first part. I will start several parts at this point. We are not religion. We are transformation. Because the truth, what happens is that religion is static. Religion is people waiting to receive something, to achieve something, to achieve something for their own merits. While the gospel is the power of God, and those who hear it, that blessed message of Christ, and believe it, those people who hear and believe, have received it. What have they received? While religion does not receive, religion thinks one day, to achieve it. Those who are of the gospel believe they have received. They believe they already have it. They believe that it is in their lives. Religion does not lead people to achieve anything. Religion puts in a future, maybe the person will reach it. But the gospel tells us that in the present we are already. We already have what Jesus has told us, what he did for us. Jesus already forgave us of sins. Jesus already gave us peace with the Father. Jesus already reconciled us with him. Jesus already removed the barrier of that incommunication that there was between man and God. That barrier has already fallen. We have entered with confidence to speak with the Father. We can enter as children, and no longer as sinners. We can enter with all security, and enjoy the word of God. Do you know what we have in the gospel? Power of God. In the gospel we have life. In the gospel we have the gift of having been transformed and blessed. Do you know what we have in the gospel? We have health. We have blessing. We have provision. We have abundance and we have freedom. The gospel has made a change in us. A powerful transformation. Hallelujah! From the inside out. Hallelujah! The gospel is not a religion that people simply change externally. The religion is that people try to change in their strength. But the gospel changes our heart. It changes our spirit. It renews us from the inside out. And that is why I am proud of the gospel. Because it says in 2 Corinthians 5.17 that if someone is in Christ, he is a new creature. Old things have passed, and here all are made new. Glory to God! Look at the change. When someone receives the word of the gospel, even if he does not realize it, he is a new person. God has done it again. God has made a new person. He received the word, and the word re-created him. He made him be reborn. He gave him a new life. He is a new creature that never existed before. I don't know if you realize that change. But the gospel is not a religion, it is a transformation. God changed us from sinners to sons of God. With the right to go to heaven and to eternal life. With peace in the heart. With life in the spirit. With joy in all our being. Our life has to change. An example of this transformation was the apostle Paul. He used to be called Saul of Tarsus. He persecuted Christians as religious. He thought that everyone was wrong. And he was the policeman of God. He lived persecuting everyone who believed in Jesus Christ thinking that they were wrong. And he says that Jesus Christ appeared to him on the way and changed him from persecutor to preacher. Oh Hallelujah! He changed him from a person who was really confused, who was wrong. And now he was transformed into the greatest preacher, herald, messenger of the gospel of Christ. He immediately had that encounter with Jesus. His life was changed and he began to announce no longer a religion but a message of life. A message of the Son of God. A good news that Jesus Christ was the Messiah. Jesus Christ was the Christ. He said, Jesus is the Christ. He is the Messiah. He forgave our sins. He set us free on the cross. He said that Jesus Christ taught him his message. He said that he did not receive his message from men but by revelation of Jesus Christ. He said that the Lord himself showed him his grace. The Lord himself gave him to understand his love and now he is communicating it no longer as a religion but as a transformative message that gives life to sinners, that makes them be born again with a new nature or with life, with an internal renewal so great that the person can speak with God and God hears him, God lives in him, God saturates him with his Holy Spirit. In short, we, the believers in Christ, do not preach religion. We preach transformation through the gospel because when someone hears and believes this word, his life changes, his mind is transformed, all his being is liberated. So let the gospel today, the good news of Christ set him free. Let the truth of Jesus set him free. Let the truth of Jesus heal him. Let the truth of Jesus make him blessed forever. So just hear and believe that Jesus Christ, the one who died on the cross, gives eternal life. A man asked, what should I do to be saved? And the apostles told him, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved, you and your house. You will be healthy, you and your house. You will be blessed, you and your house. Hallelujah! Because the one who receives the gospel, the one who receives the word, already has it. So receive the Lord today. Tell the Lord that you are going to follow him and that you will never stop trusting in that he already paid everything there in Calvary.
