What's up guys, I'm Ryan Tuerck and this is the conclusion of the GT4586 build.
This has been an insane process.
I can't believe the attention this thing has gotten.
20 plus million of you guys followed us on this journey of a crazy car build.
I've never had so many Instagram likes in my life.
The enthusiasm you guys have shown from the announcement of this build project all the
way to firing it up live on Facebook has really inspired us to keep producing amazing
content and bringing you the best of what we can from Donut Media.
This build was not an easy process.
From start to finish it took just under five months.
With the amazing help from Gumout team, Huddie Racing crew, all those guys really worked
their butts off day in and day out just to get this thing done in time.
Just like any car build where you're pressed for time, we ran into some kinks along the
way.
We blew up the oil tank on one of the startups where the thing just blew out one of the welds.
That was fixed pretty easily, but nonetheless it sprayed oil all over the engine bay, all
over the Huddie Racing shop.
You know, there's just so many things.
We had a HGK dashboard about an hour and a half north that we needed ASAP, so we had
Chris Forsberg throw that thing in an Uber in the middle of the night and ended up getting
down to the Huddie Racing facility at like 1am.
Thank you.
Yeah!
Alright, let's go put this in.
And then we threw that in.
The first time I actually drove the car, I tore it down a side street and the hood wasn't
latched so the hood came up over the windshield and that thing was destroyed.
But it actually worked out because we weren't going to throw it on for the SEMA show anyway,
so it just came in with no hood.
At the eleventh hour we were finishing all these things on a car.
We had Larry Chen ready to shoot it, but the car had to be at the SEMA show within under
an hour, so we finished everything up as quick as we could.
We gave Larry five minutes to shoot the thing, he got it done in four, loaded the car up
and made it to the SEMA show with one minute to spare.
So I want to thank everyone so much for being a part of this project.
This is my dream reality that has come to its conclusion from all the partners and sponsors
to all of you who kept us stoked and inspired to continue.
This might be the conclusion of the GT4586 build project videos, but we have plenty of
action content planned for this car, so stay tuned.
If there's anything you guys want to see, leave them in the comments below.
