В студии @trknadym89 обсудили самые различные вопросы, касающиеся здоровья - от колбасы до эффективности санпросвета, а также попытались сформулировать, какой же образ жизни можно считать действительно здоровым.
They often say, well, let's cook medical journalists from scratch.
How?
Well, no, it won't work.
From a doctor to a journalist, you can do it.
From a journalist to a doctor, this is unlikely.
And they say, the sausage is carcinogenic.
Horror, horror, nightmare, nightmare.
Well, let's count.
If you live in an industrial city, like, for example, Nadym or something like that,
then the air there is so dirty that you can smoke, eat smoked sausage, and you will not be worse.
Again, no.
I would say that a healthy lifestyle is just a life without fanaticism, in any direction.
There were no charlatans, but there are still no military-police homophobes.
Fortunately for everyone.
Hello.
This is the local time, the interlocutor program.
I am Yana Somova.
Nadym took the baton of the Yamal meeting project,
which was initiated by Governor Dmitry Artyukhov.
The northerners were able to meet interesting people from different fields of activity.
We were also fortunate to invite our guest Alexei Vodovozov to our studio.
Alexei Valerievich, hello.
Hello.
Alexei Valerievich, you are a doctor-therapist of the highest qualification category, a toxicologist.
In the past, you were a military doctor.
You are also a Russian scientific journalist and medical blogger.
Yes, that's right.
Tell us a little about yourself, our viewers who are not familiar with you yet,
about your experience and how you came to the medical sphere.
I came to the medical sphere quite obviously.
We already have a kind of dynasty of doctors.
Now her son continues to work as a doctor at the ambulance.
And for me, in general, there was probably no special doubt.
Since childhood, I had quite specific toys,
that is, a variety of laboratory dishes,
a gynecometer, a form factor calculator, and everything else.
My mother is also a doctor.
Did you get used to it as a child?
No, we didn't.
And you were drawn to it, right?
Yes.
My parents took me to work with them, because I could not always be left alone.
I was quite a curious person, so I did various experiments at home.
It was better for me to conduct these experiments at work, under supervision.
So, in general, there were no particular irritations in the sense of the sphere.
This is the first thing.
And the second thing is that I liked it.
That is, it often happens that a person looks at all this from the inside,
and he has a kind of rejection.
He does not want to.
And on the contrary, everything is good for me, everything is wonderful.
Therefore, almost 30 years ago, I graduated from the Military Medical Academy.
For some time I was a military doctor.
And this experience, in principle, of course, came in handy.
Because, absolutely by chance, having already moved to another sphere of activity,
it turns out, to journalism.
It was at the turn of the centuries, so to speak.
That is, it was already the 21st century.
It was precisely this knowledge, skills, medical skills that came in handy in journalism.
Because they often say, well, let's prepare medical journalists from scratch.
Well, how?
Well, no.
It will not work.
From a doctor to a journalist, you can do it.
From a journalist to a doctor, it is unlikely.
Therefore, there is such a sphere, scientific journalism,
in which people have concentrated who have already worked.
Who is in cosmonautics?
Who is in physics?
Who is in chemistry?
Who is in medicine?
And everything else.
They know this language.
They have practical experience.
And they can explain the most important thing.
That is, to translate from their own language to Russian, to understandable.
Actually, this is what I do.
You are also a toxicologist, right?
Yes.
What exactly, what direction do you have in toxicology?
And how much is this sphere of yours?
Why did it interest you?
It interested me for one simple reason.
In the 90s, there was little combat training in the army,
but there were many opportunities for studying.
That is, there were trips, let's say, to the division.
And literally like this, they appointed, you know,
who will go to the board, something like that.
Everyone is hiding.
And I think, why not?
Why not study?
And as a result, yes, I studied therapy as a primary specialization.
Clinical toxicology too.
And clinical laboratory diagnostics.
Military medical expertise.
And so on.
There are quite a lot of different studies.
This is good, because you look in different spheres,
how it all works.
And you get a variety of knowledge, it turns out.
And I was lucky in this sense,
because the teachers were great.
Because this course of toxicology,
it was so experimental.
That is, it is between civilian and military.
Then they tried to find a point of contact.
I don't know if it continued,
but we were just taught a small group.
And basically, there was an emphasis
on highly active poisonous substances.
Well, that is, industrial production,
all the rest, technogenic disasters,
and other things.
On the one hand.
And on the other hand, we were told about everything.
And about animal poisons.
And about some food poisons.
And so on.
It was interesting.
Naturally, I started to read,
collect information, all the rest.
And when, again, I took up
educational activities,
it turned out that there are no talking toxicologists.
Very few, probably.
Yes.
That is, this is just a wonderful area,
which concerns every person.
Because with poisons, we somehow
come into contact in our life,
sometimes without even knowing about it.
And it turned out to be a rather interesting direction,
for stories as well.
That is, you were interested in this.
It turns out so, yes.
But if you look at the world
from the point of view of a toxicologist,
as you said, poisons,
various chemical substances,
which can also be
not the most favorable,
but people know very little about them.
That is, it seems to me that they are not studied much.
We come across them anyway.
In practice, were there any cases?
Well, look.
It's hard for me to talk about practice,
because I didn't have a lot of practice.
It was toxicological.
We did practice at the Sklifosovsky Institute.
There is still a toxicological center there.
But, yes,
indeed, some things,
that is, when you start to look at them
from the point of view of a specialist,
they look a little different.
And it turns out that
people are afraid of some things
that are not dangerous,
in fact.
And, on the contrary,
really dangerous things,
they kind of belittle their significance
and do not pay attention to them.
Yes, indeed,
they tend to focus
on various rare,
small in content,
some ingredients,
for example, food.
And they say,
there are carcinogens in sausage.
Horror, horror, nightmare, nightmare.
Well, let's count.
If we count the effect that is there,
and the number of sausages that need to be eaten
throughout life, and everything else,
we will immediately understand that there,
in general, yes, of course, they are there.
But if we apply it on a person,
well, yes, probably we will get
some carcinogenic effect.
But let's do it this way,
in tobacco products,
there are dozens, sometimes hundreds of times more.
That is, if we calculate
where their human body
receives the most,
in the first place, with a huge gap,
there will be tobacco products.
Then, again,
there are various claims
to tobacco products,
that if you live in an industrial city,
like, for example, on smoke or something like that,
then the air there is so dirty
that you can smoke, eat smoked sausage,
and you will not get any worse.
Again, no.
Not so.
Just from the point of view of toxicology,
why would we take risks?
Yes. It turns out
that these are different
actions on a person.
That is, sausage,
let's say, we take it inside,
we inhale it,
and the main ingredient
there will be
either nicotine or carcinogen,
or something like that.
But industrial smoke, for example,
has another,
if we look at the main active substance,
then this is so-called soot.
That is, small dispersed particles
two and a half micrometers and less.
We inhale it all, right?
Yes. It turns out that
we can influence our body
in this way.
Moreover, an industrial city,
as a risk factor, we are unlikely to remove.
We live here, we work here,
and everything else.
But, let's say, smoking smoked sausage
we can remove.
This is a preventable risk factor.
That is, you still need to delve
into each person,
to be interested in your life,
in your health.
But if we are still a little
in such a familiar topic,
you know, this is a very interesting thing.
Because if we look
at the definition of health
from the point of view of the World Health Organization,
then this well-being
is not only physical,
but also psychological, and so on.
That is, there are many
various spheres.
Therefore, to say
what lifestyle will be healthy
as much as possible,
it is unreachable, in principle.
That is, it is an absolute
psychological peace, it turns out.
That once we are not affected by any factors,
terrible, terrible, external environments.
And the second, the most important,
is the psychological component.
That is, no stress,
no over-tiredness,
no some
tensions, let's say,
that is, deadlines and everything else.
Well, our life is different.
It turns out so.
But
this is not always possible.
Therefore, yes, of course,
we say that there are, again, factors of risk.
Proven and eliminated.
Here we know about, say, tobacco smoke.
We know about alcoholic beverages.
The same from the point of view of a toxicologist.
Everything is fine there, there are no problems.
There is more than enough
to hit the body.
We can remove it
or minimize these risks.
Next, we have, again,
an important component is, of course, nutrition.
And again, we are told
that we have GMOs,
and all the rest.
No, we have normal food.
Again, if we approach this issue
without fanaticism.
I would say that a healthy way of life
is just a life without fanaticism
in any direction.
As soon as we start, for example,
tracking absolutely all fat products.
Counting calories, right?
No, counting calories is, of course, right.
But when we start
removing something inside,
that is, removing it thoroughly,
we harm in this way.
Because the same fat,
it turns out that we cannot live without it.
It must be included in the diet.
Now there will be some kind of reverse effect, right?
Of course, of course.
Well, you see,
from the point of view of our body,
now is about the Stone Age.
Just a little bit.
You know, such a period of well-being,
which has dragged on.
And black times will definitely come.
In the sense of food, first of all, of course.
Because all this evolution,
it's all great, the information age is great.
But our organs and systems,
metabolism, everything else,
they are not in time for this.
Maybe it's good.
Maybe it's good that we don't change so quickly.
But there are also negative sides.
And we even got something
from our,
let's say, Neanderthal ancestors.
We used to have this famous picture
in the biology textbook.
Do you remember?
We all have a sequence.
Now, no.
Now it's such a branch.
And very, very bushy, I would say.
And we know for sure that
at one time there were at least
three species of people on the planet.
And we survived.
That is, the only species that survived,
the rest died for one reason or another.
But we took some things from them.
Because there was a cross-breeding.
Between these species.
And some features,
let's say, pluses and minuses,
we also got from our, let's say,
Neanderthal or Denis ancestors.
But again, all this needs to be studied,
immersed in it.
Of course, it's always very interesting.
It's interesting, yes.
But again, the minus of the information age
is that there is a lot of this information.
Yes, and where to find out
the true knowledge?
And we are trying in our spheres,
every scientific journalist,
and we are trying
in our sphere
to give some guidelines.
That is, we are not ready to provide
information that is chewed up,
let's say, and laid out on the shelves.
Namely, guidelines on how to read,
well, let's say, medical news.
Or news somewhere else.
In any sphere.
Is there any feedback?
Any feedback?
How useful is this information to them?
How much did people use it?
There is.
And this cannot but please.
Because there is always a question
about whether we are doing the right thing.
Because we are often told
that, for example, you are engaged in,
well, to put it mildly,
not that.
That is, you tell,
and your audience is already ready to listen to it.
But people who, let's say,
stand on some other positions,
let's say, against vaccinations,
or something like that,
they will not come to you anyway,
they will not listen to you,
they will not cope, and so on.
So I can say that I have different examples
on this topic.
Including when people changed their position.
The thing is that,
yes, of course, there are people,
again, going back to fanaticism,
there are people who simply
believe in it and they will not be moved at all.
This is their worldview.
Yes, you will not take this brick
out of their foundation.
But there are people who are still ready
to listen to another point of view,
and maybe they did not have enough information,
maybe it was distorted,
maybe something else like that.
And yes, and even at lectures
there was such a thing.
Here, by the way, in Surgut,
relatively nearby,
and at other lectures too,
either they came up,
or they started asking questions
and said that, yes,
I was careful about vaccinations,
everything is really as you say,
and let me do,
let's say, educational activities,
what I need to do for this.
That is, even so.
And there were even more,
that I, in general, also did not immediately
come to normal scientific journalism,
I still tried to look for myself
in civil service,
let's say, medical,
and immediately got into Sherlock Holmes.
Bioresonance diagnostics.
Because, yes,
there was no such thing,
that is, in the army of those times
there were no charlatans,
but there are still no military-field homeopaths,
fortunately for everyone.
So it turned out that
on the results of walking on the dark side
I also wrote a book.
And in this book
various pseudo-diagnostic
methods are disassembled.
That is, folio diagnostics,
bioresonance, which I was engaged in,
hemoscanning, and so on.
And after a while, when the book came out,
one person writes to me and says,
you know, I was engaged in this,
that is, I sold these devices,
but I am a businessman,
they are really very expensive
and it is very profitable to sell them,
I did not know.
And I read your book,
how can I fix the situation.
In different ways, different options.
Perhaps he says, let me organize
lectures in the city, scientific and educational.
Well, come on. And that's it.
And after a while he appears again.
He says, don't you want to come?
Because I have already brought that person,
that, that, that, brought to the regional library,
collects people, and everything else.
A wonderful educational project.
That is, again, a person,
I will not say that he was reeducated.
He just got the right guidelines,
he processed this information himself,
analyzed it, drew conclusions
and everything else.
And the same thing, for example,
again, I have a lecture
on the mistakes of first aid.
Again, a lot of people talk about first aid,
but to collect mistakes, in general,
this is not enough. Because in fact,
sometimes we can just harm
our attempt to save a person.
And again,
the girl writes,
she has, in principle,
a fairly pronounced disability.
She says, I did not quite understand
why I was watching your lecture,
because what can I do?
That is, I physically can not help anything.
And when the niece
had an epileptic attack for the first time,
she says, I just had a flash
in my head about your lecture.
I began to tell all my loved ones
what to do, what will happen next,
and everything else.
Therefore, she says, look,
even this key helped.
Therefore, this is incredibly pleasing.
There is a feedback.
And yet, it is such an educational activity
that bears fruit.
Speaking of a healthy lifestyle,
there is a symbiosis of various aspects.
One of them is psychological.
How important is
the psychological health of a person
and how it can be
improved qualitatively?
This is a very important component.
And I must say
that for a long time
it was underestimated.
Including why alternative medicine works.
That is, why people say
that it helps us.
Any ritual actions
reduce anxiety.
And anxiety is
a mandatory companion
to any disease.
If you have someone
from close work,
unfortunately, he no longer works,
but gets sick,
it turns out that you
start to worry, you start to twitch,
you start to perceive information
a little through another prism.
Distorted.
Therefore, it is easier for you
to trust such a person
immediately,
because you were promised
that all this would end.
And, of course,
any money goes there,
and everything else.
This is a kind of zoning.
No, this is not zoning.
A person is in a vulnerable position.
Psychologically vulnerable.
This is important.
And from the point of view of medicine,
this must be understood.
And to insist that
there should be a psychological component,
and there should be a psychotherapeutic service
in our country.
It is very necessary.
Just because a huge number of patients
actually have problems
not of a physical plan,
but of a psychological one.
Basically, it's chronic diseases,
chronic pain syndromes,
and everything else.
That is, not only a doctor should work with them,
and not even that much a doctor,
I wanted to ask a question.
Who needs to turn to a psychotherapist?
We don't have enough of them yet,
unfortunately.
Psychotherapy is, in principle,
a medical specialty.
A doctor is a doctor.
Because there are psychologists,
and so on.
They do not always have a medical education.
Here is the component of medicine.
And moreover, there are methods inside
that are quite tested
from the point of view of a scientific approach,
and so on.
That is, yes, it is a normal
scientific component of medicine.
There is no need to run back and forth from it.
There really is a solution
for many issues
that have not yet been solved.
As for, yes,
we said that it is a scientific approach,
and there is a dark side
of the solution to the question.
If a person does not turn
neither there nor there,
he is engaged in some kind of self-treatment,
some medicines are prescribed,
all kinds, from the vitamin complex,
conditionally, to more
already heavy ones,
which are needed with the recommendation
only of the doctor.
How can this harm him?
What can be the consequences?
And, in principle, why does a person
act like this?
Why does he not seek help
if it is necessary for him,
but tries to solve the issue himself?
There are several aspects here.
Let's put it this way.
The World Health Organization
and doctors around the world
say that a person should be
educated in the medical field.
What do they mean?
For example, the ORWI.
Now we have just the same season,
beautiful and wonderful.
And in the vast majority of cases
medical assistance is not required
inside.
And what does a patient's literacy look like
in understanding, first of all,
that it will pass itself,
that it is not necessary to interfere with the body.
This is the second important component,
precisely for the reason
that it is not necessary to medicamente
yourself excessively.
To load with medicines.
I certainly understand
that you really want to do something.
To speed up the healing process.
Not to speed up, but to create
at least an illusion of management
and control.
Control is very important for us.
Even to simulate control
is important for us.
And how can we simulate?
For example, by taking certain drugs.
We know for sure,
more precisely, we were told in advertising
that they should work,
so let's take them.
In fact, control is possible.
But from the point of view of your understanding
of the process,
that this is an infectious disease,
that immunity fights it,
and that you better not interfere
with anything.
The maximum you can do
is to observe a bed regime
during a temperature rise.
Do not go to work,
despite the fact that you are an irreplaceable employee,
because you increase the risk
of complications.
And secondly, you become a danger to the environment.
For yourself and for others.
And symptomatic treatment.
Again, it is important to understand
how it looks
from a scientific point of view today.
For example, a drop in the nose.
Extremely popular drug.
Many people pour it
almost in bottles.
You can't do that.
And how to fight it?
By rinsing the nose.
No matter how strange it sounds,
the procedure that came from Ayurveda
and, in theory,
it should be
alternatively medical and gelatinous.
But scientific medicine
never throws away working things.
We always check them.
If it works, we take it.
And if it doesn't work,
we put it to sleep.
When you can't
control the situation.
We can use
any real working methods.
No matter where they come from.
We have a little time left.
Any practical advice
for viewers
at this time?
Maybe a word of encouragement?
It's a tough
and cold season.
I also have a characteristic
pronunciation.
Take care of yourself
and others.
Don't neglect
social and personal hygiene.
What do I mean?
Bring alcohol wipes.
It's simple.
You came to the office,
wiped your hands,
went home,
put on a mask.
It helps to reduce
the risk of colds.
You need a mask.
This season
you really need it.
Without it,
you either get infected
or become a source.
A mask will help
reduce the infection rate.
Instead of a week of temperature,
you will get a couple of days
of bad health
Thank you for the interview.
Thank you for your time.
You came to our studio
and told us a lot of useful things.
I hope viewers will listen to you
and follow your advice.
I hope it will be useful.
Thank you.
Thank you for being with us.
See you soon.
