(Premier League 2023/2024): Highlights Wolves - Aston Villa

Derby day and confidence high after a morale-boosting win over the champions last weekend. Wolves hope to extend their four-match unbeaten run in this fixture and hoping to win back-to-back Premier League matches for the first time since April. Our rivals from down the M6 are on their best start to a season since 1998 and only Man City have a better record in the last 20 matches. Kamara, Konca, Watkins, Carlos, Torres all in amongst it. They're short instead and Diaby to try and swing it in. Torres got there and it was Diego Carlos at the far post who couldn't quite control before the ball had gone out of play. Kass went near post don't know whether the angle was against him to try and go back across Jose Sarr if he had had done. Wolves might have been in a bit of trouble. Ain't Norrie giving chase to put some pressure on but McGinn he's lining up a shot from distance and it dipped and Jose Sarr probably the most confident man in the ground as he allowed it calmly to go past his post. for the South Korean well he's one-on-one in Neto against him and he's just his strength helped him out as well did really well Wang that many times on a moment about somebody not getting across the front and he's just done exactly that and got himself a goal Douglas Luiz lifts a free kick into the walls penalty area Cash on the edge of it Watkins walls were not in front for long Paul Torres with the equalizer and that's the center off is he getting switched off I'm not sure I didn't see it the numbers game paid off for Villa Watkins lifted it towards the far post when Paul Torres on his left foot back across goal walls will hope an offside flag will come to their rescue I'm not sure it will center circle I think discipline is going to be one as well making sure that you're disciplined in Vivica Traore referee is going to allow play to continue Lamina has it Villa have a player down off the ball and Lamina's gone for goal and Martinez scrambling to his left collects it Watkins infield to McGeehan to Bailey up against Doherty that's the edge of the area it comes to Watkins into the side netting brilliant just a little shove for Matt Doherty at the last moment I'll tell you what he's done that earlier on as well Doherty I don't know he was at the back post earlier on in the game as Cash in that little nudge and it just knocked him off balance here comes Semedo over halfway Dean Slitt just about recovered enough to block the ball going through to Neto and Mario Lamina is dragging back his man he's going to be showing a second yellow and a red and walls are down to 10 for the final nine minutes I didn't understand that the substitution so silly though no one's in yellow just let him go I was just sitting in a little bit deep and Tommy's looking for an option goes to Diego Carlos in the center circle now to Konca on the right hand side trying to thread it through to McGeehan trying to back in on Totti and spinning once he's left foot and laying it off and it's Douglas
