“Diablo 4 Director Says 'No Plans' for Xbox Game Pass as Beta Approaches. Activision Blizzard executive Rod Ferguson has confirmed that Diablo IV will not launch on Xbox or PC Game Pass and encourages players to try out the early access beta this upcoming weekend. While some may have expected the game to launch on Microsoft’s subscription, it also makes sense that it won’t. All of Xbox’s first-party games are put on the service on release day, but Microsoft’s merger with Activision Blizzard still hasn’t been officially approved in places like the EU. As such, Activision Blizzard isn’t part of Xbox’s first-party lineup quite yet.”

Microsoft said Tuesday that it has struck a deal to make Xbox PC video games available on the Boosteroid cloud gaming platform, its latest move to appease antitrust regulators scrutinizing its purchase of game maker Activision Blizzard. The U.S. tech giant said the 10-year agreement would also include Activision Blizzard titles like the popular Call of Duty franchise if or when the acquisition gets approved.”

If you've been browsing the Xbox Store over the past 24 hours and come across a message suggesting a game is "not playable on this device" and you can't understand why, you're not alone! Fortunately, it's just a visual bug. We've seen reports from many Xbox users on social media questioning why games such as Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Red Dead Redemption 2 and Batman Arkham Knight are all incorrectly displaying this message. Hopefully Microsoft will get around to fixing this issue very soon, but in the meantime you can rest assured that it's just a bug and nothing more. If you're concerned about whether a certain game supports your chosen console, it's definitely worth doing a little extra digging online until this error gets resolved.”
