Welcome to the RedBull Video Magazine and a new video from us.
We are here in Vienna at the Japa Expo Europe 2023 at the stand of Muck Rides.
And the boys and girls of Phantasialand Experience Park Straßwaldchen have something to announce.
A new roller coaster for 2025.
And as you may see, it will be a big dipper from Muck Rides.
More about that now in this video.
My name is Christian von Elberfeld.
I have the great honor and am the proud managing director of Muck Rides in Waldkirch.
We are here in Vienna at our fair in Vienna, at our European fair in Vienna.
And I just had the great pleasure, which of course is not the case at every fair,
that I was allowed to announce the cooperation with Phantasialand here from Austria,
together with the Rabler family.
And that was a lot of fun and we are of course proud.
Because, I mean, they always say, the company Muck can only do big and expensive and can only do with the big ones.
And that's not true at all.
So we love to work with small parks, family-run parks, of course.
And the more proud we are that we are allowed to do this for 2025.
Unfortunately, I am not allowed to say exactly what is behind the big dipper.
We don't need that yet.
But I'm really looking forward to it.
There are actually big plans.
As you can see behind us, the big dipper.
We come from Muck Rides and we will have a vehicle type Stryker.
The further development of the normal big dipper.
So there is this big dipper train with big dipper roller coaster, I would say.
And we get the big dipper roller coaster type with the Stryker vehicle.
We are really proud of that, because we are a unique feature.
The only park at the moment, next to Europa-Park itself, with its train in Croatia,
that will have a Stryker roller coaster type bus.
What is the difference to the normal big dipper?
This is a further development of the vehicle.
It's just a lot more pleasant to drive.
It's a quieter ride.
We have a track bar with it, which simply keeps the car quieter on the track.
It's generally a bit larger, dimensioned.
You have more space there and the ride is quieter.
And that's so funny, because we also got in touch with the Wiener Looping.
We got in touch with them in various ways.
And the Wiener Looping is the older model, if you will,
in terms of vehicle type.
And we are actually already getting the further development.
And that makes us really proud, because we are the only park, next to Europa-Park itself,
that has this Stryker vehicle type bus.
So you just said it, you don't get the Wiener Looping recycled,
but a new system.
Right, we get a completely new product.
It's a custom layout from Muck Rides together with Mario Pauritsch, our park manager.
And the Wiener Looping has nothing to do with us.
Nothing at all.
How come you want to put Muck Rides and Big Dipper in the park now?
That's a long story.
We can come back to that at the opening of the track,
because there is really a lot to tell.
The short story is that we have been sympathizing with Muck Rides for a long time.
There is also a close friendship between Sarah Grabler and Sascha Rieckling from Muck Rides.
Sarah Grabler is our managing director
and Sascha Rieckling is a sales manager for Muck Rides in the European area.
And there has been speculation for a long time about what we can get from Muck Rides,
what we can afford, because Muck Rides is a relatively good quality product.
And so far it has been financially difficult,
because we are a regional park, we have a few guests,
but Muck Rides is a financially different league.
And we have developed well in recent years.
And now we can even afford this Big Dipper.
There have been long negotiations.
This friendship between Sarah and Sascha has been around for 20 years.
And in these 20 years, the topic has been raised again and again.
And now we have actually made it so that we have met.
I think Muck Rides has already reached a point of pain.
We have also reached our pain point.
And this minimal overlap that we have now had,
has led to the fact that we really get a big Big Dipper layout.
So it will not be a dive coaster type bus where you go down once,
a curve, you are back at the station,
but it will really be a really, really big train, you could say.
Then maybe at the end, what about the Wildtrain?
Because something has already been said about it on the screen.
Yes, one last time.
One last time, also in 2024.
Please ride until the end of the season.
Then the Wildtrain will be dismantled and will no longer be available for us to ride.
That's pretty sad.
It also hits us right in the heart.
Just like the Freizeitpark community, somehow, how we notice that.
Please come and visit us.
Have fun with us on the Wildtrain.
But there is only one year left, 2024.
Then the chapter is over.
Unfortunately, we have to say goodbye to Wildtrain.
Have we not said anything yet that will be important to us at the end?
We can still talk a lot about this new layout.
In fact, we now want to focus on the farewell of Wildtrain for about a year.
The train has earned it.
We now want to take the Big Dipper back a bit.
It's still quite a long way to 2025.
And to reveal everything now would also take away all the anticipation.
We focus on Wildtrain.
Say goodbye to this layout.
And then next year, at the end of the season, we will really go into the offensive with the Big Dipper.
Reveal technical data, reveal length, reveal height, etc.
It will all follow in about a year.
Or small spoilers may already be teased in the course of time.
We have to take a look at that.
But first, Wildtrain will simply say goodbye.
It's so interesting how much emotion this Wildtrain also arouses in the Freizeitpark landscape.
There are people who hate the Wildtrain.
There are people who love the Wildtrain.
But we're almost getting threats.
Don't get rid of the Wildtrain.
Otherwise, we'll never get back in that direction.
How many emails we've already received.
Can we still ride Wildtrain next year?
Will it be removed or something?
Even though it was just rumors.
You have to answer a lot of emails and make sure.
You can ride Wildtrain again in 2024.
We had a bit of fun that we were compared to the Big Dipper in Vienna-Lublin.
I can confirm, we don't get anything.
No, no.
We have our own layout.
We get our own layout for our park.
That was very important to mention.
