But what I want to do right now is let's get into the nitty-gritty
of what's happening here in Lakewood Ranch.
So let's talk about Lakewood Ranch.
Now Lakewood Ranch is 50 square miles.
It is not small with over 33,000 acres and over 10,000 acres of lakes
just like the one you see behind you right now.
We're standing inside Waterplace,
which is an incredible area that you're absolutely going to love,
but it also has over 150 miles of walking trails just like the one we're on right now.
Now Lakewood Ranch has been under the stewardship of one family for over 100 years.
This community broke ground in 1995 and has exploded to over 60,000 residents since then.
And with this type of lifestyle, it's no wonder so many people are walking here
with incredible schools, access to the airport.
I mean, you're only 20 minutes away from Sarasota Airport.
You're an hour away from Tampa International,
giving you access to everywhere in the country.
As a matter of fact, Tampa Flies International, so you've got access to that as well.
We're about 45 minutes away to Longboat Key on Amarillo Island.
You're about 35 minutes away to Lido Key and Lido Beach.
You're 45 minutes away from downtown St. Pete and just an hour south of downtown Tampa.
No wonder this place has exploded the way it is.
Lakewood Ranch has so much to offer and we're going to explore all of those things today.
We're going to get you into the communities.
We're going to go check out some of these amazing golf and country clubs
that Lakewood Ranch has to offer.
We're going to talk all things lifestyle.
We're going to get into it right now.
So we're here in Lakewood Cove, one of my favorite communities here in Lakewood Ranch.
And this community is awesome.
It's got two bedroom houses all the way up to five bedroom.
Just gorgeous, stunning luxury property.
And it's one of the many villages here in Lakewood Ranch.
Like we said, there are over 20 right now.
They're on their way up to 33.
It does feature a resort style pool.
These homes are on the water, which is incredible.
We're just across the way from Waterside Place where we showed you earlier today.
And why I wanted to bring you to these communities,
just to give you a sense of what it's like to live here in Lakewood Ranch.
You know, you've got neighbors walking through the neighborhood.
You've got dogs.
There's dog parks in a lot of these communities here.
They've got tot lots.
There's something for everyone.
When it comes to lifestyle here in Lakewood Ranch, you are really spoiled.
And I mean that in the best kind of way.
Listen, if you're going to, you know, pack up your family and move across country,
or let's say you're in Sarasota or you're in Tampa
and you're looking for that next level up and living,
Lakewood Ranch is really going to be that spot for you.
You know, 150 miles of walking trails, like we said,
so many different options in terms of lifestyle.
You've got condos and townhomes and single family homes and villas
and luxury style properties.
There is always a ton to do.
And between the farmer's markets and downtown Lakewood Ranch,
you're just never going to go wrong.
And if you look around this community,
like it's just one of those places that reminds me of those dreams that I had as a kid, right?
Where would you go where everything felt good?
Where could you move to where you felt safe or, you know,
you knew that your kids or your family were in a really good location
and something that was going to serve you for not only years to come,
but for generations to come.
And it's pretty obvious to me that Lakewood Ranch hits that right on the head.
Now, I wanted to jump in the home office
and get a little bit more granular in regards to real estate.
The average home sale here in Lakewood Ranch in the last 30 days was $1.1 million.
That's a three bedroom, three bath, 2,756 square foot single family home.
But over the last 30 days, sales ranged from $365,000 on the low end,
all the way up to $3.25 million for a four bedroom, five bath,
5,726 square foot Lake Club Beauty.
And if you wanted to go with a condo, townhome or a villa,
those average right around $382,000 are a two bedroom,
two bath and right around 1,424 square feet.
And speaking of Lakewood National, Lakewood Ranch has nine golf courses.
That's right, nine.
If you can't find it here, I don't know where you're looking.
You've got Esplanada de Zario, which is public.
Another is members only.
You've got three golf courses located at Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club.
And the other four are located within individual villages
and resident access is provided with your HOA fees.
When it comes to shopping, dining and entertainment,
there's no better place to start than downtown Lakewood Ranch on Main Street.
You've got plenty of specialty shops, locally owned restaurants, a movie theater.
The Lakewood Ranch Medical Center is actually located right next door.
You've got the University Town Center and the mall there,
which has over 120 stores ranging from Apple to Williams-Sonoma.
150 other stores surround that mall.
It's absolutely incredible.
There is Popstroke, which if you've never been, you've got to go.
This is Tiger Woods inspired.
I believe he's part owner and part of the leadership here.
Think of putt-putt for adults.
It's actually putt-putt on steroids.
It's incredible.
You can buy a ticket in the morning and do putt-putt all day.
This isn't your local kitschy kind of thing.
It looks like a golf course.
It's absolutely incredible.
They have food, they have entertainment at Popstroke,
and they'll literally bring an adult beverage out to the hole you're on.
It's absolutely incredible.
Right next door is Nathan Benderson Park with over 600 acres.
There is a 400 acre man-made lake there.
They do all kinds of events.
There is a tot lot, child's playground.
They do the national rowing championships there.
You can paddleboard.
All kinds of great entertainment.
And to bring this thing full circle, heading back to Waterside Place here,
so many great restaurants.
You've got Agave Bandito.
You've got Koray, which is a Korean style steakhouse.
You've got the Good Liquid Brewing Company.
You've got Duck Donuts down there.
I mean, there is all kinds of stuff.
There's even a salon.
And they do a farmer's market every single Sunday.
And when it comes to a conversation regarding the overall quality of the community,
you can't leave schools out of the conversation.
You know, it is so important for a lot of reasons.
Even if you do not have children or children that are of school age,
the one thing that I have learned over time is parents will chase quality school districts,
which helps support real estate values.
As a matter of fact, it not only supports them, it really drives them.
So Lakewood Ranch is no slouch in this area.
You've got seven public schools, five private schools.
They are highly desirable, not only in the greater Tampa and Sarasota areas,
but as a matter of fact, in the state of Florida.
So keep that in mind.
I hope the tour of Lakewood Ranch today helped give you some clarity.
I hope it really helped you understand why so many people
have considered calling Lakewood Ranch their home.
And it's been the number one master plan community for five consecutive years.
If you have any questions regarding the area,
if you're considering buying, selling, relocating,
or investing in Lakewood Ranch or the greater Tampa Bay and Sarasota areas,
do not hesitate to reach out to me and my team.
We'd be more than happy to have a conversation.
All of my contact information is listed down below.
There's even a link to my calendar so you can schedule a time that's most convenient for you.
I hope you enjoyed this video as much as I hope making it.
And until next time, go out and live that Tampa life.
