We finish off our tour of the Okanagan Valley by visiting Kelowna in the Fall. One of our favorite things about the area is all of the fruit stands and U-pick farms. We visited Paynter’s fruit market to do some u-pick apples, pears, and plums followed by a visit to the Gellatly Nut Farm regional park where we harvested walnuts, hazelnuts, and chestnuts.

On our way there we drove through one of the many areas in BC that was affected by the wildfires this season, stop for our favorite bannock in Merritt, and then set up camp at the Okanagan Lake Provincial Park South campground.

On this trip we also discovered a leaky water line in our RV bathroom and then burned our hotdog buns and hotdogs on the campfire. It was like we've never cooked on a campfire before, which is not the case. But, we did have a great Indian food dinner with samosas and our favorite MTR ready-made curries on our first night.
