(Serie A 2023/2024): Highlights Lazio - Monza

Zacchani turns on the turbo, goes to ground. What will the referee decide here? The turn of pace from Zacchani was too much. It's Immobile against Di Gregorio. And Immobile finds the bottom corner. What a way to silence the naysayers. Immobile, he puts Lazio ahead here. Carboni's up from the back. Kerikopoulos takes a touch, swings it in. Great looking ball. And Patrick Churia, after giving away the penalty, unable to make amends. Pessina, Churia, one-on-one with Hussain, goes towards the byline. Churia rolls it in! And Roberto Gagliardini, with his first ever goal in Monza colours, brings the Lombardy side level. And it's the first goal this season for Monza, that doesn't bear the name of Andre Colpani. Right at the death here in the first half, Churia rolls it across, a diving header from Dani Motta. Gagliardini, Colpani, out wide. This is Churia, still with Churia, onto his left foot, offloads. And then Gagliardini once again. That wasn't far wide from the former Inter man. He's given away. Cataldi, Immobile, on the turn, off the post. Third time this season that he's been denied by the woodwork Immobile. Kirakopoulos, he might go it alone here. Colpani has a strike! Stinging the gloves of Ivan Provodel. Now Churia, Colpani, Pessina, goes to ground. What will the referee decide? For the time being, we play on. Kirakopoulos lets rip from distance. And Provodel was scrambling to his left. Nelson, eye for goal. Oh, that's given away. Immobile rounds the keeper. Still Immobile. Di Gregorio gets a glove to it. Di Gregorio clearly got the ball on that evidence. And the referee brings the curtain down on this fixture. Lazio's stuttering start to the Serie A season continues. Just four points now and 1-1 here between Lazio and Monza.
