(Serie A 2023/2024): Highlights Sassuolo - Lazio

It's given away. Luis Alberto, can he punish Sassuolo? Felipe Anderson, surely! Fine save by Consigli. In by Luis Alberto, and once again Consigli. And it's still not over. Sassuolo saved by their keeper and then the frame of the goal. And it's given away once again. Castellanos now. Felipe Anderson for the easiest of finishes. And he punished Sassuolo in the previous two meetings. And he leaves his mark once more against the Nero Verdi. Sassuolo made to pay for a cheap mistake at the back. Felipe Anderson rolled back in by Felipe Anderson. And then Luis Alberto on the turn. And it's a milestone goal for the Spaniard. His 50th in all competitions with the Bianco Celeste jersey. But more importantly, he doubles the Roman's lead. Luis Alberto unable to strike it cleanly. And then Catteldi off the post. Ball over the top for Pinamonte. And Provodel, was that inside the box or outside the box? And it's a red card after a check from the VAR. The initial decision has been overturned. And Lazio do not go down to 10 men. Vecino, Castellanos, still Castellanos. And then Vecino, Consigli. Felipe Anderson pulls it back to Vecino. Somehow the Uruguayan international spurns the chance. Catteldi with the corner. And there's complete confusion there. Another scary moment for Sassuolo. Here goes Catteldi. Loads it back in. Glancing header. Mattia Zacchianni. So close. Three games now without a win for the Nero Verdi. Lazio secure back-to-back wins in Serie A final score. Sassuolo nil. Lazio two.
