Professional boxer Tommy Fury and fashion designer Molly Mayhag first met on season 5 of the ITV reality series Love Island UK, back in 2019. After coupling up and spending more than 50 days together, never once risking placement in the bottom two, these two lovebirds came just short of winning the entire thing. They might not have left the Love Island villa as winners, but they did leave as lovers. Since then, these two have accomplished a ton together, renting their first apartment, celebrating their 21st birthdays, surviving the pandemic, and supporting one another's blossoming careers. In 2022, this young couple celebrated two new milestones. First, they bought themselves a new home, and second, they announced their soon-to-be firstborn child. But as excited as Tommy and Molly were for both of these developments, the need to move was followed by something far less positive. In October 2021, the Manchester apartment they had been living in for two years was ransacked and burglarized to the tune of £800,000. According to reports, the incident in question took place around 10pm, when both Molly and Tommy were away from home, visiting London for the Christmas launch of her new Beauty Works line, Molly May X. Sources say the couple's flat was part of an apartment block of five units located near Hillcroft Park, and was likely targeted by a gang of professionals who approached the property from the rear and smashed through the home's balcony windows in order to gain access. From there, this crew of criminals used professional tools to empty the home of nearly every single item that wasn't bolted down. Needless to say, once Molly and Tommy returned home, they were horrified by what they discovered, and Molly in particular was forced to second-guess some of the decisions she had made to share so much of her life with the public. While recognizing she may occasionally have revealed too much about her personal life, Molly concluded she didn't want her past to control her future, and refused to live her life without sharing it in some way, shape, or form. She told her fans on YouTube, "...I can't let this situation affect me to a point where I'm constantly thinking, well, I can't do this, or I can't do that. I'm not going to let it change my life that much." Not being sad, Molly and Tommy refused to spend another night in their old home. Instead, they moved into a new rental for a short period of time, while they looked for a place to put down some roots. It wound up taking a few months, but eventually, these two stumbled upon the perfect home – a six-bedroom mansion located in Cheshire County. Meaning these two will be sharing a neighborhood with some pretty famous footballers like Marcus Rashford and Jordan Pickford. Even though their four-million-pound home already boasted a luxurious modern design with 5,000 square feet of space, the couple decided to make it even more personalized by immediately undertaking a series of extensive changes. Inside this contemporary and chic property, Molly would showcase bright colors, in particular a healthy dose of green that runs throughout the home's entire aesthetic. In fact, it was this creative touch that attracted Molly to the home in the first place, since green just so happens to be her favorite color. After securing the property for themselves, Molly would then begin documenting its transformation across social media on YouTube and Instagram. As the interior of Molly Mayhag and Tommy Fury's new home slowly rounded into shape, the blonde beauty would frequently share updates with her fans, showing off the marble floors and gold finishes throughout. Now I know what you're thinking, why would someone who had their previous home robbed of almost everything risk creating a social media account that focuses solely on her new residence? Well, simply put, it's because documenting a process like this is something Molly has always wanted to do. She wrote on Instagram, A home account is something that I've always dreamed of doing. I've decided that I don't want to let the past control my future, the way I live my life and what I share with you guys. So little by little, Molly's slowly been revealing what each completed room in her house looks like after months of refurbishment. One of the first spots the couple attempted to update was the downstairs bathroom. This part of the home is accessed through a secret trap door that most people probably wouldn't even notice in the first place. Inside this hidden powder room, Molly had ripped out the previous loud, tropical-themed wallpaper and replaced it with something a bit more neutral. Outside of her YouTube channel, Molly also created an Instagram profile to share further glimpses into her new home life. One of the first areas she showed off to the account's more than 1 million followers is also the very first part of the home she had completed – her dressing room. Formerly a guest bedroom, just check this place out now! It's full to the brim, with grey floor-to-ceiling cupboards for all of her clothes. Not to mention her incredible shoe and handbag selection as well. Elsewhere in this space is a large mirror, which came with the house. And when she photographed herself in front of it for the first time, she knew this was going to be the home for her. As nice as that closet is, her huge office might be even nicer! Speaking of large-sized tables, back downstairs, you'll also find Molly and Tommy's dining room that comes complete with a perfectly-sized round stone table that comfortably seats at least six of the couple's nearest and dearest. And when it's time to celebrate the holidays, Molly transforms this dining space with some festive spirit to host her entire family. Of course, when it comes to actually preparing a meal, Molly has everything she could possibly need in her kitchen, which comes complete with built-in appliances, marble countertops, white cupboards, and a breakfast nook. Over in the living room, the young couple has a huge statement wall that's perfect for gigantic flat-screen TV, which sits just above a roaring open fire. Not far from there is the formal living room, which previously boasted a very green aesthetic. I'm not only talking green walls, but a green velvet couch beside a glass table. When updating this space, Molly decided to keep the walls green, but swapped everything else out for white accessories. Then, they have a home gym with an endless supply of dumbbells, kettle weights, and exercise equipment like a treadmill and stairmaster. Molly also chose to drain all of the green out of the former master bedroom, opting to go for a more relaxing, neutral vibe with all gray everything, including a couch, comforter, bed frame, and some very thick curtains. Last but not least, there's Molly and Tommy's nursery for their baby girl Bambi, which boasts a uniquely plastic crib, chandeliers shaped like clouds, a long white couch, a snazzy dresser that doubles as a change table, and its own private en-suite. Just five days after welcoming his daughter Bambi into the world, Tommy Fury bid goodbye to his family and moved out of their new home. Why did he leave Molly Mae on her own so soon after giving birth? Well, it's because Tommy had a fight to win. That's right, just hours after his first child was born, Tommy left this little slice of heaven to move into what he referred to as a hellhole apartment, to ensure nothing got between him and his training for a fight against Jake Paul in February 2022. As Tommy reverted back to his original dog-like mindset, Molly struggled at home alone, upset that her partner had left her, but understanding that it was a necessary part of his process if he was going to be the absolute best version of himself. In the end, the decision paid off. Tommy won the fight against Paul by split decision and sold over 800,000 pay-per-view buys in the process. A few months later, Tommy and Molly would officially get engaged. For those of you concerned all this time on her own might open the door for yet another burglary, don't worry.
