On this occasion, I will present a picture of the philosophy of Kihajar Dewantara, according to the knowledge and new experiences that I obtained after studying module 1.1. In the following picture, we can see that there are two children of the same age. Although they both look like children, they were born with their own characteristics and also have the ability to inherit the genetics of their parents. In addition to the birth characteristics, there are many things that can affect the characteristics of each child, such as the pattern of the parents, family environment, playing environment, and many other factors. Each child with a different character, ability, potential, and social status comes and gathers at the same school. According to Convergenti theory, the child born is like a sheet of paper that has been fully written, but all the writing is still blank. One of the main tasks of the teacher is to be able to intensify the positive writing so that later it can be reflected as a good textbook. All negative writing should not be thick, even if possible, it should be made darker. School is the main place for children to enrich their education.
