A&F Fall Haul | Fall 2023 Fashion Staples | Business Casual

Men's shirts, short skirts. Okay, I'm done. Hello, you guys. Welcome back to my channel, and welcome to my channel if you're new here. Today, we have a fall 2023 Abercrombie Hall. We are officially in fall season, okay? After Labor Day, I feel like it's free for all. You can go ahead and say summer is over, fall is coming, even though fall doesn't technically start until, what is it, the 21st of September? I don't know. Nonetheless, I went on Abercrombie. They've been having some amazing sales recently, and I wanted to show you all what I got, what I picked up. A lot of them, honestly, sizing was not my best friend. So I kind of want to talk you through some of the sizing issues that I had, because either I put on some extra weight. I am PMSing, so it's possible that I'm a little fluffy right now. But still, I want to talk to you guys about sizing and why I have to exchange a lot of these pieces. I think this video will be super helpful for anybody who's in the workforce. If you look at the fashion, it's becoming very much so business casual is coming back in style, and I am so here for that. I personally love business casual. I think it's great because you get multiple uses out of your clothes, so you can wear them to work, and you can wear them out and about. So I want to share with you how I casualize outfits that are more business casual, so you could put these in the office, or you could wear them outside of the office. If you have similar pieces or looking for pieces like this for your business wardrobe, but also want to know how to wear them cute and casual outside, I got you, girl, because I'm not really an office girly, but I still do love this style. So let's jump in and show you everything that I got and go through sizing. So to first start with, these were such a bummer. I thought these were going to be similar to the Sloan pants that I have, the wide leg trousers. These are not that. So if you've got thicker thighs, size up. So if you're used to your true Abercrombie jean size, size up one size to that. If you're not an Abercrombie jean girl, you're like any other place, go to that true size. So I'm typically a 26 in their jeans, but not in these, okay, I needed to go to a 27. So for only mostly for the thighs, I just feel like the thighs, I hate when the line doesn't show through the thighs, and it's tight around the thighs. So I would need to go up a size to accommodate my thighs. But these are really cute. I will also say they're not quite full length. I'm five five. So they should be according to their size chart. But there is about like what almost an inch and a half to two inches worth of material at the bottom that you can let out. So keep that in mind. If the waist fits you, but the length is too short, go ahead and just let this seam out. It's so easy. You can do it yourself. Or you can go and get it taken and done. They also make this super awesome like stitch stitchery like stuff that you can just iron to hem your pants up by yourself. So yeah, these are a very nice pant. Like I'm serious. I wish they had these sort of pants when I was in office that like were $1,000 from Banana Republic. They're really affordable. If you get them on sale, really nice quality. I just need to go up to a four. So I just wanted a basic pair of navy trousers. The weight on these as our amazing the fabric everything a one. So these actually went up to a size four and I'm still a bit small you guys. I don't know I feel like I need a six I guess I'm in these. So yeah, these are a different style. These have kind of like the pleating all the way up. Again, since they have that seam down the middle of the leg. I like that seem to run all the way down. If you like them more form fitting, then go ahead and go true to size. But I like that seem to be shown. I think it's supposed to be shown. I like that seem to be shown. So I like to go ahead and get these a size up. But overall, I love the look of these pants. These look so so good on these are $90. So they're not cheap, but you can always get Abercrombie on sale. Pretty sure I got like 30% off for these. So super cute. Love the detail, the seams and all that. But again, just a little bit tight on me. Okay, so these are the same as those navy pants. And again, like I said, I just need to go a bigger size. These are again the 26. I love this color. I think I will get these in the for I don't know if I'm going to keep the navy. I'm like on the fence about that. But these I'm definitely getting in the next size up. I think these are so pretty for fall. Again, the length is like just awkward length, I will let them out once I get them back because I want them to be not necessarily like to the floor, but I want them to be longer than like, high waters on me. But this color is stunning this like sage green, it's more bright in color that are in person, then I feel like it's showing on camera. But I love these and I will definitely be getting these in the next size up. I also wanted to show this little tan skirt. I just want them to make them longer. I got this in a navy and my last like Abercrombie summerish haul. And they're so cute. They're just I don't know why I thought they would be longer this time around. But it's super, super cute. I just need them to be longer. Maybe I'm just not a mini girl. When will I learn I still think it's adorable. I think it's cute tucked into like an oversized shirt. It reminds me of the Shania Twain song, men's shirts, short skirts. Okay, I'm done. Um, I guess we can continue with pants. I've been wanting a pair of pants that have raw hem on them forever. And you would think girl just cut them. Well, I could, but these are already in the style that I love. So these are the ultra high rise 90 straight. I can't believe I didn't get the curve love. I'm a curve love girl. So I'm gonna look and see if they have these in the curve love. I don't know why I didn't get them in curve love. But I just got regular 26. So again, I feel like the curve love gives me more room in the hips, which is what I need. These are a little tight on the hips, but the legs fit great. And I think the raw hem is cute. These fit great in the length and are perfect for wearing with the trendy ballet flats that are back. So super cute. So happy I got them. These also look good with sneakers as well. So I'm going to just look for these in the curve love instead of the original fit. So that if you have like wider hips, I would say go for the curve love. I do because I bared a baby with these, you know, you know, honestly, I love Abercrombie jeans. I've loved their jeans forever. I'm really hoping they come back with like true denim again. I feel like they haven't had like real denim since like, and what I mean my real denim is not stretched like 100% cotton denim like structure, because I just tried a pair of a goldies and love them and I miss that like denim feel. So I feel like Abercrombie hasn't had like real true raw denim since like 2019 like truly maybe 2020 no 2019. Um, and that's such a shame because I had some but they were like pre baby and they don't fit anymore. So I'm like hoping that that's a trend that comes because I just feel like they're all just stretchy now. I don't know if I'm loving it. I'm gonna be honest with you. Let's move into coats. Should we do coats? Let's do coats. So this coat I got this trench coat. This is one of those like trench coats. It's a true trench coat where it's like, flushy, which I don't mind that honestly, just a heads up a lot of people like either like cotton or this flushy is water resistant, which is amazing. This the only thing I would say is I wish I got an extra small it's oversized, which I love, but it's too oversized. So I would size down one size in these if you're looking for it. But this is a true trench coat. It's gorgeous. I love all the flap detailing the buttoning I loved this gray color. Honestly, I'm gonna see if they have this in an extra small, just because I want it to be big. But I want it to be more cinched in and you guys see in the video I kind of tie it in the back and that's to just kind of give you more of a waist with oversized coats like this. Sometimes that can be a problem where it's like you just need a little cinching. So just go ahead and tie it in the back. If you're wearing this coat for like fashion, not necessarily warm. If you're wearing it for warmth, you're tying it in the front, right? So I wanted just a more cinched in effect. So I go ahead and tie it in the back but I still feel like it's a little bit like just not flattering. So I'm going to try it in an extra small. But I do love the satiny inside like it's double lined. It's stunning. It's absolutely stunning. I love it. Okay, these coats obsessed. So I feel like these bouncy term is called I'm not exactly sure. Jackets tweet is what I would have called it. But bouncy I guess is what they're going by now. I love this. I could go with a medium I feel like just for like my shoulder area. But I love the way the length the way this is cropped the way it fits the details of the buttons and this is just so freaking pretty and I feel like it's really really pricey. But even on like H&M H&Ms are like $80 and the quality is not nearly this nice. And like I said, you can always get them on sale. satin lined stunning gold buttons. My only problem is does anyone else have this issue where like my buttons on my jeans were silver and these were gold and they're like right next to each other and I'm like that's kind of weird even though I'm a mixed metal girl feel like with this it was like very noticeable. Cute thrown on with a black pair of our black shirt. You could also do black pants for cute like office look again pair of jeans and you're good for like a business after business party. This jacket is like everything I could have wanted and more. It's beautiful. I love the silhouette of this like the rounded edging and the tortoise shell is so freaking soft and buttery. It's got pockets here. The coolest part about this jacket is you can wear it on its own like it's by itself right or it has this detachable scarf that you can just take off with these little buttons. I love that. And then you can like wrap it around you or you can completely take it off so it can be like just like a jacket like a leather jacket or something like that or you put it on with this and it's like more of an outerwear piece. Perfect fall transaction transaction jacket obsessed absolutely love this they also come in gray but I'm totally keeping this I'm obsessed in the small fits perfectly like I wish the little flouncy jacket fit like this small. Does anyone feel like Abercrombie sizing is just kind of all over the place right now? I do. All right next up I do not have a gray blazer which I wanted one for my fall wardrobe so I got this one to try out I do really like this I think Abercrombie's blazers are worth an investment a splurge for sure if you're a blazer girl especially if you wear these to work if you're more of like a casual blazer girl you could totally just get away from like get away with like H&M or Zara but if you're investing in these and like you're wearing it to work and like out of work a little bit I used to wear blazers to the club that's how old I am we used to wear blazers like going out girl it's coming back I know it um but I love this gray color beautiful looks great with um navy it looks great with black looks great with denim I feel like which is a basic like black or white tee underneath so cute really amazing quality it does have some shoulder pads in it nothing hectic or crazy but just enough to give you like structure and I feel like it helps balance your your little outfit so love that next I grabbed this little dress and normally I wouldn't grab like a t-shirt dress headed into the fall but I thought this was really versatile and cute so obviously it's giving kind of like pajama vibes but it's still super cute with like a little sweater I wore this sweater like over the shoulders okay so I love that has pockets you can wear thick chunky socks with this as well with Birkenstocks I just showed it with regular Birkenstocks clogs without socks but you could wear some like thick chunky socks I've heard through the grapevine that like warmers are going to be back with boots this year but anyway and by and through the grapevine I mean in the sock aisle of my target from local teens so it's it's definitely coming back kidding anyway um love this dress love the pockets again I feel like a shirt dress like this is super versatile you can throw sweaters on over the top over the shoulders cute layer it you can again like I said pair it with some chunky socks and a clog and you instantly have a very transitional into fall or if fall where you live is super warm like Texas then that would be a piece to carry you through fall before like end of December let's be real like end of January let's be real next piece I grabbed is this little sweater I'm like kind of on the fence of like whether I love turtlenecks on me or mock necks or if I'm just into this crew because sometimes turtlenecks feel like very I'm dying but this is still really freaking cute I used to have a sweater vest like this that was white and had more like holes and it wasn't like a full sweater and I would try to wear that in um Texas or in Florida when I lived in Florida and it was like never never appropriate to wear it there because it was just too hot but this is a very thick heavyweight sweater perfect like I said office wear so cute love the detail at the bottom here it's kind of got a slit but it's not just a slit it's like an elevated slit with that like slant on it adorable love this paired it with some slacks pair it with jeans so freaking cute amazing amazing quality I feel like I want this I like how this sweater is like durable it doesn't feel like it's gonna like pull or snag it's like actually like thick cable which is amazing I want like an all-over sweater in that like cable net it's so pretty would it be an Abercrombie haul would it be any haul of mine without just a classic button-up so I grabbed this stripe one believe it or not I don't actually have one like this so grabbed this I've already worn this it smells like Burberry Her I think yeah this one smells like so good this is such a good color love I think it's like gray I love it I love the closer together stripes and then last but not least I just grabbed another basic little tea I don't have a tea that's fitted that's not ripped so I grabbed this I love their teas they you literally can't go wrong this is their baby tea but they don't they have cropped versions and they have long versions so I figured this one was perfect love it because I like to tuck so basic plain super stretchy top that's it you guys that's everything that I got from Abercrombie it was a big haul but they have so much cute stuff for fall I'm obsessed so I'm going to reorder those green slacks in a size four and I would just say in general if you're going to go for their like dress pants tailored pants size up um one jean size for Abercrombie versus or just like your normal size if you like wear traditional jeans so yeah I hope you guys enjoyed found this video helpful if there's any other full brand hauls for the fall that you want to see let me know I will have my fall capsule wardrobe out by the end of this month so be on the lookout for that I love you guys so much thank you all for watching and I'll see you all in my next video real real soon everything will be linked down below as well as the sizes that I picked up and yeah I love you guys bye
