Remote Towers Systems (RTS) Outreach Briefing (8/23/23)

This video is a recording of a PowerPoint briefing that was presented to public operators and prospective operators of non-federally owned Remote Tower (RT) systems. The briefing was presented on 8/23/23 during a Teams meeting hosted by NextGen and Technical Operations. The briefing addresses the following topics: Congressional direction on the RT Pilot Program; the new "RT Strategy;" details on RT "System Design Approval" (SDA); details on the RT siting and commissioning processes; and the business case model for FAA Contract Tower (FCT) RTs.
