After pushing "pedal to the metal" in both G-Wagon and Lamborghini last episode, "judgment day" – Jisung's road test – is here.
Just hours before the event, Jisung takes the "Black Dragon," aka Sam's car, out for a break-neck spin that sees its owner break out in a cold sweat. 😰
Then, with Jisung's "make or break" test underway, Will relates his experience of making the "3 Musketeers" videos, drawing a surprising parallel to that and his dance practice.
Tune in to catch these and other exciting moments, and to discover if Jisung makes it "over the finish line!"
Hey, welcome back, we're the 3 Musketeers!
And today, it's Jisung's driving test in a few hours.
And we're doing some last-minute cramming.
So, he's gonna be doing parallel parking right now.
But it's high stakes, because he's between a
G-Wagon and Lamborghini.
Are you ready, Jisung?
I'm not gonna touch this, don't worry.
Okay, and you're in Sam Pooh's car.
What is it, Dirty Dragon? Is that what it's called?
The name is T-Lamb, which means Black Dragon.
I'm not worried about the G-Wagon, I'm not worried about the Lambo,
I'm worried about this car.
You take care of her, okay?
All right, good luck, good luck!
Eww!
Go for it!
Your car?
I think this is the most important thing.
The back of your car has to be the back of this car.
I'll go safe.
Good?
A lot faster.
Ah, that is hard.
That is hard.
Watch, watch!
Jisung, always look the front too.
Always look the front and the back at the same time.
Keep looking.
I don't know.
I already feel the fail.
When you take a test, you know if you fail,
but you should try to correct it once you can.
You get it?
Yeah.
Guys, we're gonna do a little bit of filming real quick.
We're good?
How's my hair?
Oh, how's my hair?
Because when I was driving...
No, no, no, let me blend into the scenario.
Yeah, Seetho, just be there.
Seetho, just be here.
Hey, where are we?
Oh, what the heck, there's something here!
There's something there!
Seetho, wait.
Look at this tree, man, it's so nice.
Wait, what?
Alright, so we just got to the location
where Jisung is gonna take his driving exam.
And on the way here, by the way,
my hair was going crazy in the way.
I saw it, I was like...
And I saw you stall a few times on the hill over there.
F***, what happened, huh?
It's like...
After the last episode, I thought I could take the GT-R.
It didn't work on the hill.
I was like...
He was on a tiny hill, and he was stalled like 5 times?
Jisung, how was it?
Look at the camera.
He just like...
He stopped gas immediately.
We're gonna go see Jisung,
but before that, I want to tell one story.
It's the pottery parable.
So basically, there's these two groups in this class,
and it's a 30-day class, okay?
The first group, every single day, they make one clay pot.
And then the second group,
you give them 30 days to make one clay pot only.
And on the 30th day,
you see which group made the better clay pot.
And what always happens is
the group that made 30 pots is always going to be better
because they practiced so many times.
The first one might be really bad,
you only have one day to make it,
but by the time they get to the 30th one,
it's really, really good.
But the other group,
they spent 30 days trying to perfect one pot,
it's just not that great
because you only had practice making one.
So that story really resonates with me
because I feel like it really relates to dancing,
our YouTube,
and even if you want to start a business or in school,
it can relate to a lot of stuff.
But we'll talk about that a little bit later.
Let's go see how Jisung's doing.
So I get it.
So I just need to drive the GTR for 30 more days,
and then I can make a pottery.
No, no, you gotta drive that GTR every single day.
Okay.
You'll get better if you practice.
I turned into a tree.
Do you guys think Jisung will pass the test though?
I just want to apologize for what I did to you earlier, okay?
I know it hurt a lot,
but you're still my bro, right?
He said yes.
You know why not?
Because you made him burn his clutch.
I smell it.
Let's go see what Jisung's doing.
Come on, man.
I smell...
Jisung, how are you feeling right now?
You a little bit nervous?
You came late to the test though.
That's no good.
I went to the wrong...
The huge building.
That area.
You got this.
Be confident.
Okay.
Be polite.
No matter what, do not put it in sports mode, okay?
Come on, get in.
Okay.
Let's go get ready.
Okay.
I saw your...
Like a...
Kim...
It's like a Korean name?
Yeah, it's Korean.
But somehow, there's a Chinese?
Yeah.
He's Chinese too.
He speaks Chinese.
We're not Korean.
Hello.
Another one.
Kim, you got this.
Come on.
Tito, I feel like a nervous parent right now,
waiting for my kid to finish his test.
I trust in my kid.
He has his cheerleading squad for him right here.
Jisung.
He's starting.
If Jisung passes his test,
we're gonna go to a nice restaurant and have a nice meal.
If Jisung fails his test,
he goes to McDonald's.
He's going to McDonald's,
and we're still going to a nice restaurant.
Alright?
I think he's gonna do well.
He just...
He does really good.
He drives fine.
The only issue is just...
If you're taking a test,
if you're paranoid, you're scared,
you automatically goof up.
But if you don't do it,
just take it easy, drive slow,
do what you're supposed to do, you're fine.
But if you're paranoid, you're freaked out,
that's how you're gonna get in trouble.
Like everything else, life.
Keep it easy.
Life lessons from Dan.
Dan's life lessons.
Wait, what if Kim goes over speed limit?
He's been...
He is so used to the pedal,
he just goes like slamming the gas now.
You made him into a race car driver,
now you have to make him back.
I gotta call him grandma now,
rather than a race car, right?
Overall, he's a really good driver.
He knows what he's doing,
but he's just freaked out last minute.
Just when we get here, he's all freaked out.
Jisung, what...
I don't know if it'll pass or not.
I get to know at 6pm tonight.
How do you think you did?
I don't know.
Some part, I'll kinda like...
I know the hand gesture.
Yeah, there are a lot of pictures of the pose.
I love it.
So we don't give the answer after,
but tonight, you will check the website.
Okay.
We're about to go celebrate,
I don't know if we go celebrate or not.
You guys go back to dancing,
and tonight, you will figure it out.
Okay?
Yeah, no problem.
Thank you.
Bye bye.
Alright, Jisung, you finished the test.
How did you do?
I failed.
You failed?
Joke.
Funny joke.
You're going to McDonald's, that's what the joke is.
Okay, I don't know the result yet.
Okay, so we'll find out later then.
But how did you feel though?
I think it was okay, but I'm not sure.
Gotta be more confident, man.
If you think you passed, you probably passed.
Alright, let's go.
Let's go.
Dude, the trees all fall after a week.
Last week's video, this was still here.
Okay, so about the story.
I think the lesson that I learned from that story is that
you just gotta go out and do it.
You gotta get actual practice and put the work in
if you really want to improve.
The same is for our YouTube channel.
At the beginning, I think we had a lot of things to consider.
We're considering thumbnail, description.
There's so many things that you think about.
You want to make a perfect video,
but it actually stops you because you're so scared to do it.
So now we kind of just like plan a little bit
and we're like, we go out when we do it.
And we also got a lot better
just because we've made so many videos.
How many videos do we actually have now?
How many episodes?
50 plus.
So after doing 50 plus videos,
we've gotten a little bit better.
Just that number, that amount of practice
that we put in, right?
Now, what do you think?
So like this actually translates to dance a lot
because the hardest thing for me to do
is wake up in the morning and stretch and dance
because your body is really sore.
With me, my Achilles is really tight in the morning.
So in the morning, I have a lot of excuses in my head
before I start.
Oh, my Achilles hurts and my back is sore
and this and that.
But what I usually do is I shut off all that thinking
and I just start.
I start doing something.
Like I start stretching or I start moving around.
Once I get started, the momentum kicks in.
I'm fine afterwards.
But if I never start and I keep thinking about it,
it will never get there.
I have another thing.
It's a little bit of a tangent, not completely related,
but it also has to do with practicing technical moves
in classical Chinese dance.
So before, when I first started to dance,
I was really scared to practice.
Let's say I want to do aerial.
I didn't want other people to see me fail
that technical move, right?
I would be very self-conscious and watching everyone.
Afterwards, after a year or two of dancing,
I noticed like nobody's really actually looking at you.
You just got to get the work done.
So I make sure I'm warmed up
and then I just go and do it.
You just put in the work.
And once you do that, you're going to improve.
You don't have to worry about what other people are thinking.
You just got to go and do it.
Yeah, because when you think too much,
you just never get it done.
I think it's the same for a lot of other aspects in life.
Doesn't matter what it is.
Like you could be starting a business.
Like you do the research.
You want to do it?
Just start.
Don't just think about it.
Talk about it.
You got to put into action.
That's the lesson we learned from that story.
Okay, and then now we're what?
Waiting for Zhixiang's test results?
For my test, she just gave it to me right after the test.
But I guess the lady knows we're doing a video,
so she wants us to keep waiting.
Suspense.
He's gonna get a text message.
I think he passed though.
I think he passed.
He did well, yeah.
He did well.
Okay.
Darn it.
Why did you do well?
Yeah, this guy.
Alright, let's go.
I don't mind if it fails.
I don't mind, okay?
Okay, 3...
Okay, go, go, go.
Let's do it.
1, go.
Go.
Thank you, thank you so much.
Thank you, Zhixiang.
Thank you so much, thank you so much.
Wait, wait, wait.
You officially are my service.
Okay, I want to congratulate you
that you don't have to eat at McDonald's, okay?
Okay.
We're gonna take you out to a nice Italian dinner, okay?
Okay.
Italian.
Italian?
But you're gonna pay, okay?
He's like, wait.
Alright.
Oh, okay, sure.
Alright, do I have to say anything?
No, you don't have to say anything.
I'll just follow her.
No, that's good enough.
That's good, that's good.
Hey, welcome back, we're the...
3 Musketeers!
And today...
Are you actually supposed to say that?
I want to open my eyes.
It's not about 人不人, it's actually...
Alright, let's go, let's go.
Just say, ah, so bright you can't open your eyes.
Something natural.
Ready?
Let's go.
