Alright guys, so today we're gonna answer your juicy questions.
Big reveal.
Our ages.
I am...
Welcome back, we're the...
3 Musketeers.
July 3rd, 2021 is when we released our first video.
Can you believe it's already been 2 years?
2 years!
Celebrate.
Okay, celebrate.
Yay!
To 2 years.
Yay!
Alright guys, so today we're gonna answer your juicy questions,
and make sure you watch the full video,
because we reveal our ages.
Is Jisung really 40 years old?
No way he's 40.
How do you look so young at 40?
We're doing a special giveaway,
so make sure you watch until the end to know how to win.
Happy 2nd anniversary.
So glad I found your channel.
My question is,
how did the 3 of you choose each other for the 3 Musketeers?
Whose idea was it?
Had the 3 of you already connected in friendship before this channel?
Will wanted to make a YouTube channel,
so he went out the first time,
and he tried to do it, but he failed,
so he's like, I need someone else to come with me.
So he's like, okay, I'll bring Sam.
You and I, we're gonna make a YouTube channel.
And then we're like, what should we eat?
We're like, oh, we should eat Korean food.
Oh, we need a Korean person.
Okay, Jisung is Korean.
Let's bring Jisung.
So we brought Jisung as a guest that time.
Because he would have all the knowledge
about Korean culture and Korean barbecue hacks and whatnot,
but then once we brought him on,
we found out that all he does is just eat.
I was too shy to talk, man.
And he just became 3 Musketeers.
That's how it happened.
So it was very spontaneous.
We were in the same crew for a couple of years.
But honestly, maybe you two were closer.
For me, I think we know each other
but as close until we actually start.
Jisung didn't like us until we started 3 Musketeers.
I was just saying it's a different personality.
What would you do if you hadn't gotten into dance at all?
And do any of the dancers do other dance genres
that one least expect?
Okay, so Jisung does K-pop, we know that.
No, not really.
People gotta believe it.
He doesn't do K-pop.
So for me, it would definitely be trying to be an actor.
I don't know if I would have succeeded,
but ever since I was a kid,
when the teacher was like,
who wants to come to the front of the classroom to perform?
I was like, me, me, me, I wanna be an actor.
I liked acting as well
because I used to watch Chinese dramas,
like the historical dramas.
And I really liked the actors in it.
And I thought it was really cool.
So that was one of my dreams to be an actor as well.
For me, it was the same too.
I wanted to be an actor.
But anyway, no matter what,
I think I'll like to go with something
that needs creativity
because I like something, making something.
But Jisung, you're so shy.
Why would you wanna be an actor?
A lot of actors, they're introverted.
Yeah, yeah, that's true.
So for the dance question,
I think we mainly specialize in classical Chinese dance,
but people did learn other dance forms
like Jisung learned Korean dance
and other people learned ballet and stuff.
I really like older Hollywood kind of classic movies.
Shawshank Redemption, it's one of my favorites.
The director would try to make the movie
so that it can have a moral message.
That's why I like the traditional
old-school Hollywood movies.
One of the dramas that I really liked to watch before
was 射雕英雄傳, Legend of the Condor Heroes.
This time on my vacation,
I actually went to go take some photos in Taiwan too.
Like historical drama style.
I'm not a really big fan of watching movies or TV series,
but mainly reading books,
maybe like light novels or something like that.
But my favorite one was Journey to the West for sure.
There's a lot of fun stories,
like a lot of supernovabilities,
but a lot of small parts.
You think that maybe it didn't mean anything,
but actually there's a lot of meaning underneath.
I think I've been on tour so many years.
We've been through so many situations
where when something unexpected happens,
you can instinctively react to it.
For example, one time we actually had this thing happen
on stage in Mexico where somebody's zipper couldn't go up.
And then we had to immediately change formations
before going on stage.
But everyone was so calm about it
because he couldn't go on stage at the time,
but we had to make a new formation immediately
before the current raised up.
Everyone was just like, okay, I moved here,
he moved there,
and then we were ready to dance
as soon as the current came up.
And then he fixed his zipper in the middle of the dance
and he came back on,
and everyone just knew to let him go back
into the formation.
When an unexpected thing happens,
if you're really negative about it,
and you're like, oh man, this thing happened, it's over,
the whole situation's gonna be really bad.
I think for us, we try to keep positive.
It's just one more step that we have to overcome
before we get to our ultimate goal.
How to become a principal dancer?
Is there any qualification or condition?
You have to be really, really good at dancing,
and they'll basically scout you
to become a principal dancer, okay?
So just work hard.
Can I take pictures with Shiyin dancers in Taiwan
because I was blocked this year?
Usually after the performance,
taking photos is fine
because as you can see from our London vlog,
we took pictures after the show
and we really enjoyed it.
But during the performance,
pictures are not allowed.
It also really depends on the theatre that you're in.
And it depends on our schedule
because we go straight onto the bus most of the time.
Can you invite Melody Chin, Sean Ren,
and Roy Chen to the channel?
I admire them a lot.
We can try to invite them sometime.
When we have a chance.
What do you want to do after Stopping Dance?
I hopefully become a choreographer
so I can choreograph.
You're already a choreographer.
I mean, the whole time.
Five, do you want to meet the fans
when you are touring in Taiwan?
You would love to.
I would love to if we go to Taiwan, for sure.
If we go to Taiwan, we have to have a fan meet.
I heard there's a lot of people that watch us in Taiwan.
But you haven't toured Taiwan before, right?
No, I've never been in Taiwan.
I toured like 10 years ago and never again.
Hoping to go back to Taiwan soon to perform.
Congratulations.
Here's hoping your channel gets 100k subscribers.
What are the age ranges of the male and female dancers
in your troupe?
Upper range, 40 for male, right?
And then lower is like around 18.
If you're very good, you can go on tour as a practicum.
At the very end of the video, we'll reveal our ages.
What are all your favorite styles of dances?
Do you all have a favorite flexibility pose
that you love to do?
Before, for me, it was Tibetan.
But now I think I like Korean dance.
I've always enjoyed doing Mongolian dance.
It's actually one of the first ethnic dances
that I ever learned.
So it gave me a strong impression and very manly.
Yeah, I like that style.
Mongolian dance, same reason.
Favorite flexibility pose that you love to do?
Jisung has an iconic one.
I don't have any.
Our 3M logo.
Jisung is doing a movement called the Zi Jin Guan.
It requires a lot of flexibility
and not many guys can do it.
So Jisung, show us right now.
Next.
Next question.
Would you all want to perform in any Disneyland?
Mickey Mouse and his friends.
I would want to go to Disneyland to perform.
I would want to go to Disneyland
to watch Sam perform with Mickey Mouse.
Would you guys be stressed out
if there are three shows in one day?
Or Lena?
I would be super stressed out.
Let's not do that.
If there's like right after the three shows,
a lot of like a relaxed time, you know,
is waiting for you, then I don't mind.
If you go on like a two-week vacation.
If it's after three shows,
it's like, you know,
there's another like shows keep coming,
then I'll be really, really, really stressed.
Even if there's break after, I don't think I want to do it.
I don't think so.
Three shows would stress me out no matter what,
even if there's a break afterwards.
How do you manage time between dance practice,
creating vlogs, and editing videos?
You guys, so amazing.
Thank you.
No sleep.
That's it.
That's the simple answer.
I'm sorry.
That's the only way.
I actually did have to edit a video until 4am last week.
It's rare now because we actually have people helping us out,
but sometimes we still have to do it ourselves.
And yeah, you definitely have to give up some sleep
and your free time.
How do you manage time?
Honestly, give us some tips for managing our time, okay?
Because we're really bad at that.
But then I would say even though I don't get that much sleep,
when I do see the comments and stuff that you guys post,
it really makes it worth it.
We're gonna write our goal for the channel in one year.
Jisung, you start.
I'm glad you don't work at a bakery.
Jisung!
I'll see how well you do it later, huh?
All right, let's look at what Jisung wrote then.
One million sub.
That's also my wish too.
Oh my goodness, look at that.
This is not easy, huh?
Actually, I think Jisung's actually looks better.
So I'm gonna write three mil.
Three Musketeers, three mil, right?
I'm very ambitious.
I think my 3M looks the best though.
Final touches.
Underline this 3M.
Okay.
Put in the candle.
All right.
Okay.
Oh my goodness!
Okay, great.
Great.
These kind of things happen.
Just destroy your 3M whatever self.
That's our cake.
Everything was good until we started decorating it.
Hi, Jisung.
Your story made me cry.
Any tips for overthinkers to stay positive and productive?
You think too much because you're too into outcome,
and then just worrying that you're not doing well.
But I think everyone makes mistakes.
No one can be perfect.
Just do it, I'll say.
And then don't be too into if you're doing good or not.
I think you've been more confident
since we started three Musketeers over time.
That might help for overthinkers as well.
Just to be more confident in yourself.
You've made a mistake.
Don't try to look back.
It's like just, so what?
Just next time, I'll just do a little better.
What is your favorite thing to do on your downtime alone?
Buy stuff from Amazon.
Oh gosh.
I really like to just eat with my friends.
Go out and have a meal.
I feel like it's really relaxing.
Another thing that I like to do is go on drives.
That's a good one.
I have a manual car before,
and just going on a drive alone sometimes feels really good.
For me, it's just reading and eating at the same time.
So nice.
It's so relaxing for me.
Sounds good.
How do you find inspiration for your content?
And what city do y'all like most?
I think what's important is really the fans.
Like we see what you guys comment on,
what you guys like more.
And depending on that, just make sure to like, comment,
and then we'll make more of those videos.
We are very spontaneous.
So sometimes I come up with a random idea.
Like our day in the life,
or like some of our Q&A's that we've done in the past,
it's just like,
hey, I have an idea, let's film it tomorrow.
There's so many cities that I like,
so it's so hard to pick one
because every place has had their own unique aspect.
But like the most memorable one in recent years,
and that's just very beautiful and very relaxing.
And food was pretty good too.
I actually went to Bangkok for vacation,
and I really enjoyed it.
Haven't been back there in like 20 plus years.
The food is really good,
and the night markets and malls are very, very clean.
So this year I went to Fukuoka, Japan.
And the reason I like it
is it's more of like the countryside feeling.
It's more traditional too.
So I really liked that.
Last question.
When will Shen Yun perform in China?
Good question.
One day for sure.
Soon, not too far, I believe.
Really soon, we hope.
Because, you know, as Shen Yun performers,
our company does is,
we're performing traditional Chinese dance on stage,
and it's all depicting 5,000 years of Chinese history.
But unfortunately,
we're not allowed to perform in China right now.
So that's really sad.
I really want to go to China soon.
I believe that the day will come.
Okay, big reveal.
Our ages.
I think a lot of people know my age already
because I revealed that my zodiac is rooster.
So I am 29 this year, turning 30.
30?
3M, 30?
Oh my god.
30.
You're an uncle now, basically.
Yeah.
So for me, people think I'm a lot younger than I am.
They think I'm younger than Jisung,
but in reality, I'm actually older than Jisung by two years?
Three years.
Oh my, you don't even know my age?
I'm 28, turning 29 this year.
And Jisung, youngest.
I'm 26, 1997.
So I'm not 40, okay?
Who believes that?
Oh my god, I'm so sad.
The rumor came from people thought out of the three of us,
Jisung was the oldest, right?
So the joke came that Jisung's 40, but he's the youngest.
Our giveaway today is this photo album.
SHINee Performing Arts photo album from 2021 to 2022.
Oh yes.
So it has a lot of pictures of our performance in it.
We'll also sign it and write a special message.
So make sure you like this video,
comment below, and subscribe to have a chance of winning this.
Jisung's gonna light our cake.
On a candle.
Okay, that's good.
Okay.
Happy birthday to you.
Happy birthday dear 3MUSK, cheers.
Happy birthday to you.
Three, two, one.
It's got this cake.
Oh, it's very soft.
This sponge.
Oh, that looks so good.
It's like peach.
After another year, hopefully, three years,
three meals, one meal subs.
All right, so thank you to all of our audience and fans
for supporting us and watching our content for the past two years.
We couldn't have done it without you guys, seriously.
