Anne-Marie Deschamps was interpreter of medieval music, singer, musicologist, pedagogue and French composer. In 1974 she founded the Venance Fortunat ensemble, the first French a cappella vocal group specializing in medieval music. The sung repertoire of the ensemble is mainly that of sacred music, with a particular focus on a few manuscripts that are little or not studied. In this work the ensemble performs some of the most beautiful, but not very famous, compositions from the repertoire of trouvères, poets and musicians from northern France.

I wish you happy listening!
