A year after tying the knot, Britney Spears and husband are separating.
A source tells NBC News that Sam Asghari filed for divorce from the pop star, but Spears
reps did not respond to our request for comment yet.
We know they exchanged vows last June and they met in 2016 on the set of her Slumber
Party music video.
The former couple fought together to end her 13-year-long conservatorship, which barred
her from making legal decisions about her life, including getting married.
So again, still waiting to hear from Britney Spears on what happened here and hopefully
they get back to us soon.
A lot of bumps in the road after that conservatorship.
So much to celebrate and then, you know, now this and then her kids have moved away.
So she's been through a lot.
