Sperrenakken from Vik. Midnight hike - exploring the sunset.

Sperrenakken from Vik is a easy hike. From the car park follow the forest road that is signposted with a hiking trail to Myklebusthornet. Follow this road up Vikedalen for around 1 km before you come to a crossroads and a post box. Here you turn left onto the path. PS; if you walk over the edge down towards Volstad, you will come to a gaping hut with a great view. Follow the path westwards in hilly terrain for around 1.5 km to the top of Sperrenakken. At the top, there is a cairn and an information board with pictures and information about the peaks in the Sunnmørsalps.
At the top, I was able to witness a beautiful sunset. As it doesn't get dark this time of year, it was easy to walk back down from the mountain. I walked a bit further West from the Summit point, following the path and increasing the length of the hike from 5,6 km to 9 km.
