Hi everybody, I hope you guys are doing well. So I'm back with another vintage jewelry box
unboxing. This is from my local antique store, and I'm in a different filming location than I
normally use, so hopefully this is okay. You guys will have to let me know. But yeah, we're just
gonna dive right in to this box. And the first thing I wanted to share, this is also from my
local antique store, and I love old photographs. So I just, I picked this one up. This one was
three dollars, and I just loved her. Sometimes those old photographs are really blurry or the
contrast is really really low, but I thought this one just was so beautifully done. You can see all
the detail. I just loved her. I love her brooch, I love her hair, and I actually wanted to draw her.
That's one of the reasons I buy these old photographs. I bought some old yearbooks and
sketch, you know, photographs from them, and I just think it's a really fun thing to do.
So yeah, I wanted to share her. I think she's beautiful. There's no date on this, it just says
Humboldt, Iowa. Yeah, anyway, beautiful. I'm gonna set her here for now. All right. Okay, so the first
piece here looks like a bangle bracelet in this really pretty translucent, almost like pea green
color. I have to test this for Bakelite. It kind of has that look to it, but I'm not sure.
That's a cool piece. Up next is a brooch. We've got a masquerade mask here with some purple, green,
and white rhinestones. I like this brushed gold finish to the front and a shiny gold on the back.
This is pretty. This one's heavy, actually. So a gold-toned heart here with this really beautiful
raised filigree. Here's with the back. There is a maker's mark there. It looks like
crements. This is in really nice condition. Here's what that clasp looks like.
This is a really pretty piece. I like this a lot. The gold tone looks to be in really,
really good shape. Another pretty heavy gold-toned link style necklace here. Let's see.
Straighten this out. Here's what the front of the links looks like and the back here.
Got a toggle style clasp. Oh, this is in Anne Klein. That's what that little lion logo is.
Anne Klein. So probably not terribly vintage,
though I'm not sure. But that's really pretty. This one, this gold tone looks to be in really
nice shape as well. So here we have this really pretty item. Some black stones. These feel
maybe like plastic, maybe, maybe like glass. Hard to say. And I think this is a sash pin or buckle.
My vintage lovers out there, please correct me. I'm not 100% sure. This is definitely an older
piece. Potentially like a mourning style sash pin. Let me know if that's right. But it's very pretty.
It looks like we're missing a few of the stones here, but it's a nice piece. Oh, this is pretty.
So this looks like Damascene or Toledo ware. I guess I don't really know
if this would be considered actual Damascene, but it has that look to it with that sort of black
enameling around that filigree work.
Maker's mark that I can see. We've got this faux pearl there. It's very pretty.
I think that's a nice piece. Another brooch. Look how fun that is.
That is pretty cute. We've got this car or carriage and some rhinestones up at the top.
Looks like we are missing one, but these white rhinestones are pretty easy to replace.
We have some rhinestones in the wheels there as well. Reminds me of a Cinderella carriage.
That's really cute. Let's see. There is a marking here. AJC, which I have heard of.
I think that one's really sweet.
So here we have some scarabs. So gold tone bracelets with some multi-stone.
I'll just say if these are genuine stone or glass. I mean, this tiger's eye looks
like real tiger's eyes, so maybe these are genuine stones, but you can see
there's a lot of wear to the gold tone, so definitely not precious metal here,
but very, very pretty. Hold up the clasp. Don't see any markings, but no scarabs are
very collectible, so I think just the stones alone are worth salvaging. Pretty.
This is a large piece. Let's see if we can get this in frame. There we go. Okay,
so we have this gold tone, super heavy, thick, chunky link necklace with these
matte gold leaves kind of dangling down. Let's see if there's a marking. There is.
Oh, so this is a napier. Get that right side up so you guys can see it.
This is a napier. Wow, this is a statement though. Definitely need to have a specific style to pull
this one off, I think. It's really fun though. I think it's a really cool piece. Definitely
somebody would love that. A little brooch here with a lighthouse. That's cute. This feels like
ceramic. Probably transfer. No markings on the back. I think that's cute though.
Sailboat in the background there. Pretty.
Okay, so we have a flag that has some monogramming on there. CL,
gold tone. And then we have, it looks like a golf tee.
Right? So maybe this is a golf marker. So wherever your drive lands, you mark your spot
with your little tee and your little flag. Kind of a fancy golf tee, I think. Or marker.
Interesting item. I'm not a golfer, so I don't know for sure, but that is my best guess.
Oh, this is fun. So we have this enameled cheetah, I guess, right? Kind of in that prowling pose.
About to pounce. No marking. So he is metal with this orange tone enamel over top. It's pretty fun.
I like him. Next looks like we have a watch or part of a watch. It's pretty interesting. It has
this clear like lucite style top. Oh, you can see the mechanisms in the back.
That's pretty cool, actually. Name, Taylor. Anti-magnetic. So I don't know what that means.
That's an interesting kind of lucite watch there. Never heard of Taylor,
though, as a watchmaker. Let me know if you have. So here we have some really beautiful red-toned
plastic beads with some AB crystal beads. It's a double strand. Nice and long.
Here's what that clasp looks like. That's a really pretty clasp.
See if there's any markings. None that I can see.
Kind of looks like a Japan piece, maybe. Very pretty, though.
And so this is kind of a cameo style, but it is flowers, so a floral design.
And this is just resin, so it's not shell in a gold tone setting.
It looks like there should be a marking there. Let me let me take a look outside of the camera.
So yeah, there's an area here that looks like there should be a maker's mark on it,
like a little cartouche, but there's nothing actually on it. Or if there was,
it's still blown away. I can't read it. So yeah, I don't know. Unmarked, but it's very pretty.
We have some faceted green glass crystal beads on a barrel clasp.
I like the shape of these. They're kind of triangular or saucer shaped, I guess.
And here we have a three strand black faceted beaded necklace.
Has a hook style clasp here, and there is something on it. It's marked Japan.
That's pretty. These do feel like glass. They're nice and cold to the touch.
Oh, look at this brooch. That is so fun. Oh, I see we're missing some stones. It looks like a
little pearl up there, but those may not be too hard to replace. Just love the colors of this.
And that's really beautiful. I love the blues. There's some AB coating on some of them.
Here's what the back of that looks like. That one's really pretty. Unmarked.
Another brooch here. This feels like another ceramic piece with a floral design.
Old tone, no markings. A nice big size though.
Look at this guy. Oh, I love him. He's so odd. Look at his eyes going in different directions.
They're googly eyes, but like this one is stuck, I guess. Because, right, look at...
Oh my gosh. What are you though? Okay, so here's what the back looks like, and he feels like
plastic. He's got some little beads here at the end. I don't know what he is. Maybe you
tie him on to something? Definitely has some wear, has seen some better days.
I don't know, but there's something charming about him, I think. He reminds me of
Clifford the Big Red Dog. That is so funny. If you guys know what this is, please let me know,
because I actually don't know. It kind of reminds me of like a bolo tie, but it's not.
Looks like he would tie on to something else, but how fun. I think he's very funny.
Next up is another brooch. This one's really pretty. We have these cream-toned flowers,
some AB crystals, and some leaves. It's on sort of a really light gold tone base.
Here's what that back looks like. This one doesn't seem terribly old to me,
but I do think it's pretty. I think this would be very beautiful for a wedding,
like on a bouquet or something. That's pretty. I've seen a trend of people using vintage brooches
as their wedding bouquets. I don't know if you guys have seen that, but it's a really cool idea.
I've seen a few people do that for their wedding, and I think it's really beautiful.
Here is a blue beaded necklace. These are interesting.
Definitely has that look of a Japan piece. Three strands, graduated. Let's take a look at the
clasp. Oh, West Germany, so I was wrong. This is a West Germany piece. Beautiful colors. It's really
interesting the way these beads are done. They look like broken glass or fractured glass.
Pretty, almost like an ice cube, I guess. Cool. Oh my gosh, look at these stunners.
Oh, I love these earrings. We have this white, what feels like milk glass, with these really
gorgeous pink-toned AB crystals. I love these. I think these are absolutely beautiful.
Here's what the backs look like. See if there's any markings. No markings.
I think these are gorgeous. They're all prong set, so they look like really nice quality.
Wow. Absolutely love these. These are something I would wear for sure.
Gorgeous. And this one's interesting. It's kind of funny. It's a lobster clasp,
and we've got these orange and yellow kind of cone-shaped dangling pieces with some stars.
That is strange. I've never seen anything that looks quite like this.
Kind of looks like it's trying to imitate amber, but these are definitely just
plastic of some sort. Kind of fun. Definitely unique.
Yeah, looks like we have two brooches, two matching brooches here in green.
Green and white rhinestones. These have a really fun vintage look to them.
Remind me of some Christmas ornaments I've seen, some vintage Christmas ornaments.
Here's what the back of those look like. This one looks like we have a little bit
of green here, but that should clean up okay, I think. Those are fun.
An AB crystal necklace. I love these. I'm always happy to get AB crystals,
and it looks like we have some gold-toned spacer beads in between.
There is a hang tag here, so let's take a closer look. Oh, and this is a Sarah Coventry.
Interesting. I find a ton of these AB crystal beads. They're usually unmarked,
but this is a Sarah Coventry AB crystal necklace. Beautiful. Look at the sparkle. Love it.
Then we have some really fun clip-on earrings. We have the center kind of courting couple
design that you see a lot of in vintage pieces with some pearls surrounding. Let's take a look
at the backs. Clip-on backs there. No markings. Upside down. Those are fun. I love the vintage
look. I love the colors on these as well. Pink and green and blue. Very pretty.
We've got a bangle bracelet with some crystal end caps. This reminds me of that David Yearman
style cuff. I mean, certainly this is not David Yearman. I'm sure this is just costume,
but it's really pretty. It's in really nice condition as well.
So here we have some milk glass earrings. Really pretty floral design.
Looks like it says, Made in Western Germany on the back. So they need a good cleaning,
it looks like, but these are a really big size. I actually think these are really beautiful.
Be great in the summer, right? Some more clip-on earrings. We have gold tone with some
really beautiful rhinestones in the center, and sadly we are missing one,
but again, not too hard to repair. Would be an easy fix. No markings on these,
but those are beautiful. Definitely worth fixing. Oh, we're missing two stones, it looks like,
but I think those are worth repairing. We have a charm bracelet. I love charm bracelets,
which I've mentioned a few times on this channel. You guys know.
Let's see. Fold over clasp. This is gold tone. Okay, looks like maybe one of these links needs
to be added back on, but that's okay. So let's take a look at these charms. Look how funny. Okay,
so this charm says lie detector. It has this little arrow that spins. It says false, true,
false, true. That is really funny. Okay, so we have a lie detector.
We have a little carousel. Oh, and it does spin. Let me try to get this more in focus.
A little carousel. Looks like some of our little horsies have broken off over the years,
but that's very adorable. We have what looks like a ladder. Interesting. A little fan.
We have a wheelbarrow with some articulated wheels.
A, some kind of roller. Is that a paint roller? I don't know. This may have,
this might be something else that I'm not familiar with. And then, oh, this says my diary.
Okay, so it doesn't have anything inside, but it does kind of open up.
It says something. I'm not entirely sure what that says, but there is some like pencil writing
in here. It says Paul. Paul is. I don't know what Paul is, but Paul is something.
That's really cute. This is an adorable bracelet. I'll need to repair that. Sad that this little
carousel one is broken, but this lie detector and this little diary charm, those are adorable.
Love that. These are beautiful. So we have some gold tone clippy earrings with some faux pearls
and some rhinestones. No markings that I can see, but those are really nice. This is pretty.
So this is what looks like jade, but it's definitely plastic, but I think meant to
emulate jade with these really pretty jewel tone little faux stones that the back looks like
on a gold tone chain. It's just spring ring clasp. I think that's really pretty though.
Definitely has that look of jade. You can see there's some areas where it's lighter.
They did a pretty nice job at kind of imitating the look of natural jade. It's pretty.
Reminds me of an Avon style piece that I've seen before. So these earrings are beautiful.
So we have these chandelier style drop earrings with these really beautiful purple faceted
point drops. I think these are so pretty. They almost look like amethyst glass.
They're just plastic though, so they're nice and lightweight. Pretty easy to wear.
No makeup marks or anything. Next we have a locket with some really pretty
guilloche enamel flower on the front. Gold tone on the back. Let's see if this actually opens.
It does. I don't see any markings here and most likely just gold tone.
It's in really nice shape and I love the front of that. I think that's really sweet.
Look at that sparkler. I mean that is stunning. Can you imagine if that was real?
If only. So we have this really beautiful faux, I am certain, pear-shaped stone on this silver
tone setting. Let's see. So there is a marking here. Yeah, I think that says China. ATI China,
I believe. So yeah, just a costume piece but wow. Can you imagine if this was a real
stone? That would be a million dollar stone probably, right? Beautiful though. I love it.
Wish it was real even just if it was a topaz. I just wish it was, you know,
probably just glass. This might even be plastic honestly but very pretty.
Got a really large glass dichroic glass heart here. That's big. I have a whole lot of glass
pieces that I'm putting together because I don't really wear these glass pieces but I know some
people do love them so I've been kind of putting them all in their own little spot so that one
day if I do sell them, I can have them together. We have some more milk glass pieces. Some more
floral milk glass earrings. These ones are screwbacks and then these ones, slightly different
floral design. Western Germany again. Just says Western at the top but I'm pretty certain it's
going to be followed by Germany. Yeah, looks like these backs were maybe replaced and glued
on over that marking but nice. So a lot of milk glass in this vlog. This is interesting. So we
have this gold tone piece that has what looks like an S on the front. Okay, there is some information
here. Let's see, Ketchum and McDougal. Patent 1903, wow. April 26, 1910, New York.
Definitely look at that older pin.
Oh, okay. So it's got a retractable chain in it. Let's kind of catch in here. Let's see if I
break it. I hope not. Oh, it kind of locks.
Interesting. So this is what the little hook at the end looks like.
I wonder if this is some sort of watch fob or
glasses chain. I'm assuming it's some sort of like pocket watch. Oh, there we go.
I didn't break it. I was worried there for a second. It looks gold plated maybe to me,
right? This front does have that look of gold but not marked and judging off this backing,
I don't think it would be but that's a really cool piece. This is from 1910.
April 26, 1910. So I'll have to do some more research on this but that's really cool, I think.
Look at this sweet little piece. So we have these tiny little flowers with multicolored rhinestones
and some rhinestones all the way up to the hook style clasp here.
Leru, L-E-R-U. I've never heard of that so I'll have to do some research. Let's take a look at
the back. So these are definitely either plastic or celluloid, I would guess.
Missing a few stones but I think we could replace those pretty easily. Okay, so here we have some
really pretty earrings. Kind of cameo style but we have a depiction of the three muses.
Just plastic but they're in that really pretty light blue color. These are marked
Hobie. Hobie? Hobie? I'm not sure how to pronounce it but that is a brand I've found
before and I know is definitely collectible. These guys are really pretty. They're not the
typical cameo style that I'm used to seeing. Pretty. I like those a lot. Those are another
piece that I definitely wear. Look at that. So we've got this beautiful sort of emerald cut
stone in the center with all sorts of emerald cut, round cut, faceted white stones surrounding
in a gold tone setting. I'm sure not real stones and not real gold but let's take a look here.
There is some sort of marking in here. Okay, so that says Taiwan so that's our first hint
that it's probably not anything too fancy. Looks like there's some numbers here. It does look like
it says SS925 there so it's possible that it's a sterling silver vermeil. I would have to test
it. I can pretty much guarantee you that these stones are not real but it's really pretty
nonetheless. Most likely CZs but wow it's actually actually pretty nice. Let's see will this fit on
this finger? No, not exactly. That's a nice piece though. It's pretty. Okay this one is interesting.
So we have this black and some sort of resin I guess. Triangular pendant
with this little fan. Look at that. Okay that's cool. Some sort of phoenix or bird on there.
I really love the fan pendant. I don't know what this this piece is. It almost looks like
somebody put these onto this chain because also this chain is silver toned.
Most likely isn't the original chain. It does say Korea on it.
Interesting. Okay so here is a very pretty little gold tone bracelet with some kind of
pastel colors almost. Pink, green, blue, rhinestones. That's cute. Just a lobster clasp.
It's in really nice condition. Definitely see this kind of as an Easter bracelet. I think it's the colors.
Some gold tone what looks to be thermoset earrings.
But in a brown color which is kind of unique.
A very beautiful little cut glass pendant with a flower. Part shaped with a flower on the front.
Faceted. It's very sweet. Cute. Another pair of clippy earrings. These are cool.
So these are confetti. Is this confetti lucite? I've heard that term before but I'm not sure what.
I don't know if that's what these are but these sure look like it to me. They are some sort of
plastic. Very possibly lucite. These clippies but red and silver confetti style. Those are really fun
actually. Definitely look like ready to party. It'd be really fun for Christmas I think.
Okay this is kind of interesting. So we have another charm bracelet but these are all
pennies. So it's a little gold tone bracelet with a sister clasp. No markings there and these are
all Canadian pennies. This one says 1957. Oh they're all 1957. So 1957 Canadian penny bracelet.
Pretty cute I think. Kind of fun. Next up is this pendant and that next up is this pendant
with the black faceted teardrop shaped stone and this like a greek key design around.
So on this box style gold chain this does say what does this say?
Avon. NR Avon. That's really pretty. I think this looks like gold honestly. I don't think if you
wore this nobody would know the difference. So here we've got a double strand blue thermoset
moonglow bead necklace with some silver kind of elongated beads. Oh this is Koro. Okay I didn't
expect this to be a designer. I thought this I would expect this to be sort of a Japan piece but
that's nice. I do love the thermoset beads. I do have a collection of some moonglow thermoset. I
have a lot of pink but not a lot of blue so that's pretty. I think these beads are quite
interesting the shape of these. Got some metallic in there. Those are pretty cool.
Wow look at these. These are some really large faceted Revoli style
AB stone clip-on earrings. These are huge but look at the colors. I mean wow.
They're actually really beautiful. Can't stop looking at them. No markings of course.
These are cool. I really think these are beautiful.
Really fun. They're nice and heavy too actually. These are really beautiful as well.
So we have some faux pearl AB stones and this little kind of capped bead in the center there.
So pretty. I don't...
No markings but let's see which way are they supposed to go. This way.
No maker's mark but they're really beautiful. AB gold tone some faux pearls.
Stunning. Oh I love these. I love these. So we have gold tone screwback earrings with these
beautiful kind of cobalt royal blue rhinestones. There's a matte finish to the center flower and
then more of a polished finish to the outer petals. And yep screwback style. No markings
but I love these. I think these are beautiful. Super cool retro kind of style. Love these.
Gorgeous. Looks like a lot of what's left are earrings so I'm going to try and match them up
and show you ones that I think are worth sharing. These are super adorable. Gold tone with yellow
plastic flowers. They are screwbacks. No markings but I just again I think these have a really fun
retro look to them. Yellow is a nice happy color. I think these are really cute. These are also
really pretty. So multi-color rhinestone with a little bow at the bottom here. So cute. Silver
tone with kind of an antique silver tone. No markings but I think those are really pretty.
And look at that we found the matching earrings to that Avon necklace. A little gold tone greek
key. So that's pretty. So now there's a little set of earrings and a necklace. Nice. Also in really
nice condition. How interesting these are. So these are kind of a maybe these are lucite or just some
sort of resin with these little blue chips and gold flake. It's really cool. So if you can see
they're clear on top which makes me think maybe it's lucite with these pieces set into them.
Screwback. Those are unique and pretty cool I think. And then I found another ring here at the
missing the stone. Really beautiful setting though. This sure looks like something. That's beautiful.
See if there's markings in here. Oh so this says 18k. Okay so I'll have to test this but
that would mean this is 18 karat white gold if that is the case. And I bet somebody harvested this
diamond or whatever stone this was. It was probably a fabulous mine cut diamond or something.
This is a beautiful setting. I mean look at the detail on that. So yeah this most likely is gold.
I mean just based on the craftsmanship of it alone. Yeah I will put this into my test pile.
It's beautiful. That's a great find for this box. Okay and then we have a whole bunch of pearl
clip-on and screwback earrings. These are all faux pearls but really pretty. I really especially
like these ones with the AB crystals on them. So that's nice. These are always again really nice
for weddings. Also to use as decorations for bouquets. I know that's become more and more
popular so definitely worth saving. Another non-earring piece here. So this looks like a little
pin. I guess this is called a scatter pin. Is that what you would call this?
It says Washington DC and then 1989 which is actually my birth year. So I'm giving away my
age here but that's kind of cute. I think this is just a souvenir piece. I don't imagine this to be
real gold or anything but it's kind of cool. These stunning AB crystal drop earrings. These are
beautiful. Love the bonds. Gorgeous. Okay next we have a really pretty matched set of little clip-on
drop earrings and a little pendant. So just rhinestones but they sure look like really
beautiful faceted aquamarine or blue topaz or something. It's a really nice kind of dainty set.
Very pretty. Here are these. I did find the match to that. Beautiful. Beautiful clear
rhinestone drop earrings. Stunning. I love these. They definitely got a deco look.
Beautiful. So yeah the rest of these are earrings. There's still some really nice ones but I don't
want to bore you guys going through every single pair. There's some faux pearl ones,
some really pretty rhinestone pieces. We do have a rosary. This is just plastic but
a rosary in there. So I think this is where I'm going to end it. I will go through these
earrings a little further but yeah thank you guys so much for watching. I hope this was fun
unboxing these vintage boxes. When I get a new one I'll be sure to share those with you and I
have a few new Tiffany items on their way to me and when I get those I plan on doing another Tiffany
haul video. I know some people watch me for the Tiffany content, some people watch me now for some
of the vintage pieces. So if you're interested in both that's great. If not I'll be back with both
hopefully very soon. So okay thank you guys. Have a great day. Bye.
