本集劇情：
高老莊里發生了一件怪事：高小姐被官府搶走，高老漢夫婦一路哭喊，驚動了正在草叢中酣睡的豬悟能。老豬救出高小姐。高老漢夫婦招贅悟能為女婿。酒宴上，悟能酒醉現出真面，嚇走了賓客，高小姐也拒不同房，悟能只能將高小姐鎖在後花園，不許她與父母家人見面。悟空與師父來莊投宿。悟空使用巧計，弄清了豬悟能的來歷。豬悟能曾是天蓬元帥，只因調戲嫦娥，被發下界，錯投了豬胎，經觀音點化，等候取經人。唐僧收他為徒，給他取名豬八戒。
