Swimming Pool Pre-Season Disinfection Tips with Chlorine Pucks and an Onion Bag . Hi everyone, I made this quick tip video to show you how I keep my pool disinfected pre-season. I always find the green creeps up fast, and doesn't look good before i connect the salt system. So I tied an onion bag to a floating 1 gallon jug and filled the bag with chlorine pucks. they dissolve as it floats around. It seems to work good.
