This version of (Tryin' to Get the Feeling Again) was recorded during the (Horizon) album sessions in 1975, but it was left out and never released. Years later, Richard Carpenter was looking for a master backing track and found the demo version of this song on the same tape. The earlier recording for (Tryin' to Get the Feeling Again) was with Karen's demo work lead. Richard felt that the vocals were good enough to finish production and release the song in 1994, almost 20 years after it was recorded.
Released December 12, 1994 on the (Interpretations A 25th Anniversary Celebration) Album.
