CAMPEONES 🏆  Barcelona lift LaLiga trophy at Camp Nou

Despite the defeat tonight, we can put that to one side now. It's not the result they wanted to accompany the trophy presentation. But look at the faces, Andy. Some of the players, not to say every single player, are not happy. These players are winners. This is good to see. Going forward for Barcelona, they didn't want to lose tonight. Jordi Alba was right, we played against a fantastic team who played some really good football. We have to give them credit for it. Lewandowski is still talking about the game that Lenorman has given him. What a difficult game he's had. But now it's time to celebrate. Now they have to get over the frustration of a home defeat. And obviously, you can see Busquets with Rubiales, the Joao Laporta president. And it's time for Barcelona to receive the LaLiga trophy. It'll be Sergio Busquets who lifts it aloft. They're in camp now, they're champions! And goes without saying, Andrea having won it with four games to spare. Busquets beaming with the trophy. They're deserved champions. Yeah, they do. They've had a very good season. I was going to say from the start, but I think the opening game was a draw. At home against Rayo Vallecano. And then the second game was against Real Sociedad, which was the one that got it going. First-minute goal, Valverde setting up Lewandowski, and then they were away. Yeah, absolutely. So, you know, a season where they did what they had to do. They responded when they had to. I remember now, the week of El Clásico, where they lost in the Champions League against Inter Milan. The next game was at home against Athletic Club. And Athletic Club, with Valverde, playing some great football. And it was one of the best performances of the season for Barcelona. So, they've been able to bounce back. They've shown resilience. They've shown quality for a long time. As well, you know, probably too many 1-0s, if you ask a few Barca fans, you know. But you can't have everything. Defensively, they beat, you know, records. So, you know, a very good season. Yeah, they're on track still to break the record for the fewest goals conceded in a season in La Liga. Their record is 18, and they're now up to 15, with three goal games remaining. So, they should break that. And would you say that's been the key? The strong defensive play all round, as Busquets returns to the field now to share the trophy with his teammates. I think, yeah, one of the keys is the belief as well. You know, this is great to see a happy Sergi Busquets, who was probably sad because, you know, he needed the time to go up and get the trophy. You know, but, yeah, I think that defensively, Barca have improved massively. You know, Ter Stegen has raised his level. We've seen great performances from both Araujo and Christensen. You know, I mentioned Gabi during commentary, and now they're all smiling. Now they've managed to forget that they've just lost a game, and the party can commence the confetti dropping down as they get ready to really celebrate.
