Watch this interception in the semi-finals XFL game.
Tips there, and then number two's gonna get his legs
taken out, he jumps up off of his leg onto his chest,
makes the grab to intercept it, runs a little bit.
That guy just fell.
Celebrates, enjoys it, but his team does go on to lose.
DC's going to the championship.
This is everything you missed
that you never planned on watching.
And today's episode is brought to you by Manscaped.
Bottom of the ninth, TCU's got the tying run on second base.
Does he round third and score on that single?
No.
Stays on third.
Maybe he should've went.
Well, next pitch, that's a fly ball to left field.
That should score the tying run.
Porter Brown grabs it, fires home,
and oh my God, he's way out.
Like, way out.
Porter Brown, the left fielder, used to play for TCU.
They should've known.
Don't run on that guy.
Look at this handshake.
Oh, boom.
And then a solid gentlemanly shake at the end,
and then a bro hug.
Oh, let's go.
Let's ******* go.
You guys know me.
I used to play for you.
You're gonna run on me?
Rude.
ACC Championship game, women's lacrosse.
North Carolina has won this six straight years in a row.
They send that girl to the deck.
Ref gets real into it.
Now she has a chance to score, make it a seven to five game.
She starts running, and what happens?
Seems to be a lot going on.
Ref says that, that, boom, everything.
Then they're gonna go look at it.
Does it count?
Well, I don't know.
Well, what happened is they mobbed the ---- out of her,
but I guess you can't review fouls when you go to review,
but she did step in the crease,
and then she hit the goalie with her stick,
so the goal doesn't count.
She also got fouled like crazy,
but I guess they can't review that,
so the ref's like, no goal.
No goal.
It's not seven to five.
It's still seven to four.
A minute later, BC's got another chance to score.
Does that go in?
It bounced right back out, but the player is like,
hey, review that, review that.
That was a goal, too.
What are you guys doing, huh?
And the coach is like, that's a goal.
That's a goal.
It's in.
Yeah, yeah.
It went inside the net, so they go take a look at it,
and it is interesting, because it bounced right outside,
but it does look like it, oh yeah, it hit the net.
You can see it hit the white net.
Well, I guess they couldn't see that,
so they go, no goal.
No goal.
And coach of BC is like, well, what do you want us to do?
We've scored two goals, and you keep taking them away.
I'm pretty pissed off about it,
but she's gonna get happy, because they end up winning.
Way to go, BC.
The first place team played the last place team in IPL,
and they needed 12 runs off of their last six balls to win,
and that isn't caught for an out,
but it was almost, but it's only one run,
so now they need 11 off of five.
This is doable.
You just gotta hit a boundary, which is four runs or six.
That doesn't hit the boundary,
because the fielder stops it, so that's just another one.
Now they need 10 runs off four balls,
and that is what they call a dot ball,
because it's zero.
The next one, that's in the air and taken, so an out.
So is the last place team gonna do this?
Oh, that's a boundary for sure.
No, a diving stop by that guy,
which stops it from being four runs,
which makes it basically an impossible game to win,
and he got subbed in.
He wasn't even supposed to start.
Another guy got hurt, so he's starting,
and look at him.
He's so excited.
The IPL's been amazing.
Like, 10 teams, that's the last ball,
and they don't score the amount of runs they need to score,
so they lose.
There's like six teams all tied for second place.
It's gonna be a crazy finish in this league,
if you want to watch it.
There's a game every day at 10 o'clock East Coast time,
so I like that about the IPL.
It's kind of easy to keep track of.
Back to lacrosse, this time men's college lacrosse,
where we got Johns Hopkins playing against Maryland.
This is a huge rivalry matchup.
They give away a trophy, a crab or something like that,
probably, and Johns Hopkins hasn't won this in a while.
Maryland's just been winning the whole time,
but J.H. is up by one.
This dude's got it.
He's gonna go spin move and then hard step,
switches to his left hand, wraps all the way around,
little diving wraparound.
That's cool.
That gave him 12 goals.
They won 12 to 11, so it was important.
It mattered.
Congrats.
And congrats to the fan of the week this week.
