About Fung Bros: David and Andrew Fung are fascinated by hip-hop, comedy, and food. They love making funny rap songs, trying new food, and making people laugh. Welcome to the official Fung Bros Channel!
Yo, David, what did we order from Amazon Prime again?
I don't know. Open it up.
Yo!
What is this?
This video was done in collaboration with Amazon Channels.
What's going on, everybody?
Welcome to a brand new edition of Fungro's Tech.
We started the Fungro's Tech series,
really to introduce and explain services and gadgets to you guys
that we find useful and we use that could help you in your everyday life.
We just want to talk about tech that could make your life a little bit better.
Let's get into it.
One thing you may know from watching Fungro's Tech that we are not afraid to say
is that Amazon Prime makes our life better.
If you guys have watched past Fungro Tech videos,
you guys can tell that pretty much 80% of the items,
whether they're household items or gadgets,
we've ordered them off Amazon Prime.
I mean, you just hit the button, they come to the door.
It's that easy.
Today, we are going to be talking about a new streaming addition
to the Amazon Prime membership
that is going to help you stream the newest TV shows and movies.
And yes, this new feature is called Amazon Channels.
Okay, so basically what Amazon Channels is,
it's an option through your Amazon Prime account
to sign up for a whole bunch of other streaming services,
such as HBO, Showtime, and a whole bunch of other specialized channels
through your Amazon account,
making your life super easy and super convenient.
Before this, if you wanted to sign up for all those specialized premium channels,
you had to have almost a whole different login,
you know, and having a whole different login,
you got to put in your card,
you might forget your password and all this stuff.
A lot of times for me nowadays,
there's so many logins.
I got my Facebook login, I got this login, I got that login.
I'm trying to minimize the amount of usernames and passwords that I have.
A lot of other streaming apps don't even have HBO as an option.
I'm trying to watch two shows,
The Wire, which is my favorite show of all time,
and I'm trying to watch the new show Ballers.
I'm going to be watching those shows on HBO through Amazon Channels.
Yes, there are other ways you can watch those things,
but this is just by far the easiest, simplest way.
It's just like back in the day
when Amazon helped me manage my magazine subscriptions.
Amazon is helping me manage my specialized channel subscriptions.
So we talked to you about getting HBO Showtime through Amazon Channels.
It's super easy,
but we want to talk to you about the other specialized content that they have.
It's crazy the way that they organized it.
There is an all anime channel called Anime Strike,
and it's only five bucks per month.
You want documentaries?
They got documentaries.
You want to even do yoga?
They have workout yoga channels.
I mean, they have channels for almost every conceivable interest.
And last time I checked,
those other streaming services do not have dedicated channels for those topics.
You would still have to go out and piece it together from the option list,
and piecing it together takes time.
And one of the best things about signing up for Amazon Channels right now
is that you are getting a seven-day free trial on every single one of these channels.
That means, David, you get to sign up for a bunch,
test which channels that you really like, watch a little bit,
and if you don't like it, you don't got to subscribe to it long term.
That's what I love about Amazon.
I remember even with Amazon Prime,
they let you try it out to see if it was really the service for you.
Let me tell you this.
I think anybody who signed up for Amazon Prime,
for the most part, kept it.
For content that you really like, it's not a big price to pay.
Some of these channels are $5 a month, $8 a month.
Obviously, the more expensive HBO channel is only $14.99 a month,
but that's like beans considering what you spend on anything else.
And you know what the great thing is too?
I think for me, Amazon Channels is the real replacement for cord cutters.
All right, so you have channels like Netflix and Hulu,
but to me, those don't really replace your entire cable package.
So for example, if you want HBO content,
Amazon Channels is going to be the way to go
because you can get all that on Amazon Channels
and you don't have to pay for the channels you don't want,
which is why you cut the cord in the first place.
Man, that bundling stuff is outdated, bro.
Since you can watch all of this through your Amazon Video app,
it can be on your TV, your laptop, your phone, your tablet.
Tonight, through Amazon Channels,
I'm about to watch Tastemade, some Comedy Central stand-up,
Ballers on HBO, and Homeland on Showtime.
And I think the great thing about the seven-day free trial
is you get to test all these different ones.
They have different comedy channels.
They even have channels of premium shows that YouTubers have done,
like Megapatoon and Grace Helbig.
By the way, we use Prime a lot,
so maybe we should get a show about us unpacking our Prime packages.
Amazon Prime, you know what?
Fun Bros open boxes on Amazon Prime.
Give us that show.
I'm down for it. Amazon Prime, holla at me.
If you take a look at the Fun Bros Tech series,
we are always here showcasing something that is cool,
something that makes your life easier, more convenient,
saves you time, and in that way, makes your life better.
Basically, at this point,
Amazon is trying to streamline the online experience.
Amazon Prime has made our life easier.
That's why we're recommending you trying out Amazon Prime
