Rose Marie Vega Says Big Ed 'Smelt Sour' and Mislead Her - 90 Day Fiancé
Rose called it quits with Big Ed, not over the sour smell, but after they argued about their contrasting views on having more children.
In a video published to the TLC Youtube channel, 90 Day Fiancé cast member Rosemarie Vega reflects on the first time she met Big Ed at the airport in the Philippines.
At the start of the video, a tweet is shown by a fan named @itsalisontoyou on Twitter. The tweet reads, “Any other #90DayFiance cast member would have used his time to frantically freshen up in the airport bathroom, but not Big Ed, he is freshly rinsed of his mayo lather like a real prepared boss.”
Rose responded back in the video, “Ed did not freshen up when we met. He smelled sour and maybe it’s because of mayo on his hair.”

Rose and Big Ed appeared on the prequel series to 90 Day Fiancé, which is titled 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. The show follows eight international couples who have a relationship online and meet in person for the first time. Ed Brown, who was “Big Ed” on the show, traveled from San Diego to the Philippines to meet Rosemarie Vega.

According to an article by The Blast, Big Ed planned to have a vasectomy before the trip but canceled it. He expressed to Rose that he doesn’t want to have more children; He currently has a 29-year-old daughter. Shocked, Rose stated that he never expressed his desire to not have more children.
He confessed in the episode: “I want to be able to give you the best that I can with what I have. I’m not rich. I work hard … I only have enough love, I only have enough money for you and for Prince.”
Rose packed up her belongings and left Big Ed in the hotel room they shared during part of the show’s duration.
According to In Touch Weekly, while packing, she said to a producer of the show: “When Ed and I met online, I liked Ed because he [gave] me respect. But after I met Ed in person, I realized who is [the] true Ed. I [will] meet my true king in the future.”
She currently has a 4-year old son named Prince.
In the video, she says, “It is very important for Ed to give me two kids. That’s my dream.” Big Ed countered her statement by saying, “We never talked about two kids. We had talked about you wanting a daughter one time, and you never brought it up again. You never brought it up again. And then you throw this in my face.”
Rose expressed her desire to have more than one child and have a big family. She said, “I want a big happy family.” Rose concluded the video by saying, “Looking back, Ed is definitely the wrong choice.”
